Well isn't this a surprise, two chapters in one day?
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to take full advantage of my creativity and upload as much as i can before i get busy with University. I hope you are all enjoying the story so far.

I ran into Kate as I was walking back to my room. We hadn't really spoken since i had found out she knew her brother and I were mates and yet had kept it a secret from me.
"Hey Eve!" she called out when i ignored her. I didn't bother to reply and instead kept walking.
"Eve!" she called again and before I knew it she was standing in front of me with her arms crossed.
"How long are you going to keep ignoring me for?" she asks annoyed. I breathe out a sigh and look at her in her eyes.
"I'm not ignoring you." I lie and Kate rolls her eyes.
"Good, you can come shopping with me then."
I stop when Kate tries to pull me along with her, "Shopping? I don't think that's a goo-"
Kate shushes me and before I could advise otherwise she wraps her slender arm around my shoulder saying "You know you're not a prisoner anymore so you can come out with me. Also," she looks me up and down with a smile, "you definitely need new clothes."
Kate was right about one thing, i definitely needed new clothes. I had been wearing Carla's old clothes and while we were the same age we definitely had different body types.
All my life I had known it but living freely among the other wolves it had just reinforced the fact that wolves were just generously gifted in body structure. Every female I had seen was tall and curvy in all the right places whereas I, as much as I hated to admit it, like Kate had said before, looked like a seven year old boy.
Reluctantly I followed Kate out of the house and into the garage.
Throughout the past few weeks I had managed to explore the pack house a little bit more. Carla showed me around the many, many rooms, including the dining area, the living room, the play area for the children, the training rooms, game rooms and the pack gardens.
But now walking into the garage with Kate I realised I had still yet to see the biggest part of the pack house.
The garage was MASSIVE. I mean that's the only word to describe it. It was perhaps three football pitches long and wide and filled with different types of vehicles.
I was never good with the types of cars but I recognised a few branded cars from books I had read.
"Holy..." I couldn't even finish my sentence i was in that much shock.
"Pretty cool right?" Kate laughed but i was just speechless.
"Why do you guys need so many cars?" I ask. I mean they were werewolves, like literally part wolf, why on earth would they need cars when they could just run on four legs?
"I don't really know actually" Kate replied, "we just like cars."
Yeah nice looking, expensive ones clearly.
"Come on, hop in." Kate added when she pressed the key and lights flashed on a red shiny looking sports car.
I followed behind, sliding into the white leather seats.
"Right let's do some shopping." Kate winked before revving the engine and driving out of the garage before i could even put on my seatbelt.

"You know that's the first time I have ever been in a car before." I mused making Kate look at me with a weird look.
"You are the weirdest person I have ever met" Kate retorted, linking her arms through mine.
We walked into the shopping mall and straightaway I felt slightly claustrophobic being surrounded by the busy crowds. Most of them were humans, it was easy to tell. They just looked weaker.
I guess this is how the pack members see me, I think to myself as Kate leads me into a shop. It was the first time I had ever been out, surrounded by so many people, so many humans and surprisingly it felt off. I realised at that moment despite being human i felt more at home surrounded by wolves.

"That is super cute." Kate commented as I stood in front of her wearing an emerald sleeveless dress which came just above my knees.
"I don't know Kate," I whispered twirling around to look at my reflection in the mirror "it's a bit short don't you think?"
I wasn't used to wearing dresses, I preferred jeans and tops, something that covered me up, kept me warm. At times like this I forgot I was no longer ill and didn't have to worry about catching a cold which could potentially kill me.
"Nope, we are definitely getting this one." Kate was adamant, "Try this one as well." she chucked me another dress. I held it out in front of me and gasped.
"Jesus Kate this isn't even a proper dress," my eyes went wide at the outfit. It was practically just one piece of cloth with no sleeves or even a back, "I can't wear this."
Apparently i had no choice and I was pushed back into the changing room.
"No, no, no" I said when Kate screamed as I walked out of the changing room with the dress on.
The dress covered nothing. My whole back was on display and so were my legs. I kept tugging at the hem of the dress afraid that if i even bent slightly over my whole bum would show.
It was a baby pink sleeveless dress which stopped just below my bottom (picture above^)
"Kate i can't wear this." I begged but she was too busy laughing her head off.
"Oh my god," she gasped, laughing so much that she was actually tearing up "my brother is going to have a heart attack when he sees you in this."
I tried to ignore her comment but my cheeks burned anyway in embarrassment.
"I'm taking this off." I stated, walking back into the room, rolling my eyes when Kate shouted, "I've already paid for it."

We were walking towards the food court, about seven bags of shopping in each hand when Kate stopped suddenly. Her face was completely emotionless, her eyes blank. I assumed she must be using her mind link.
"Shit," Kate finally muttered under her breath when she returned to her normal self, "my brother is going mental."
Despite her calm expression i knew she was anxious to get home, especially when she detoured away from the food court and back out to the parking area.
"What's wrong?" I ask, noticing how quiet Kate had become.
She turned to me once we both in the car, looking very sheepish.
"Ok, i might have forgot to tell Zac that i was taking you shopping and right now he is furious."
"He's angry that you took me shopping?" I ask confused. I thought i wasn't a prisoner.
Kate shakes her head as she starts the car and pulls out of the parking space.
"No- he's not angry i took you shopping. He's angry that I didn't tell him."
I made an 'O' shape with my mouth even though i still had no clue what the big problem was.
"It's not easy for you to understand since your human Eve, but with werewolves they are really protective over their mates. I mean like really protective. Especially in Zac's case. He just found you so he is slightly more possessive that perhaps other mates. He is still getting used to having a mate and so the only thing on his mind is having you by his side. I completely forgot about it and it's a mistake on my part."
Kate honestly looked upset.
"I didn't realise it was such a big deal." I confess and Kate forces a smile.
"It's not your fault Eve. I was just too excited about going shopping it just slipped my mind to tell him."
I looked out of the window in silence as Kate hit the accelerator. She was desperate to get us back home as fast as she could.
I was getting used to the silence when Kate spoke so it made me flinch in surprise.
"Zac, he's a good guy Eve." I turned my attention to Kate but she kept her eyes ahead. "He's had a hard life and for a long time he was angry at the world. He didn't think- actually i don't think any of us did, that he had a mate."
I cocked an eyebrow in surprise. I thought every werewolf had a mate.
Kate noticed my confusion and explained, "A few years ago, I think it was probably 13-14 years ago this Witch trespassed onto the territory and Zac was ready to punish her like he would any other trespasser when the Witch said she would offer her services in order to avoid punishment. She put a protection spell around the pack which acted like a mind block, it was to protect the pack from any more trespassers."
My thoughts went back to the day Gemma and I accidentally trespassed and how Gemma couldn't use her mind link. She said something about a mental block, so it must have been this spell.
I didn't interrupt and Kate continued to speak.
"Because she did this Zac let her free and as she was leaving she told Zac that his mate had just died. At first he thought she was lying but then as the years went on he tried so hard to find his mate but he couldn't so he just believed the Witch."
My eyes were wide as I listened.
"All this time Zac lived believing his mate was dead and then one day out of the blue, there you were."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My heart tightened as i thought about how lonely Alpha Stone must have been thinking his mate was dead.
"That's why my brother acts the way he does. He spent a lot of years thinking he had no mate and now that you are here he's afraid you'll disappear again."
I was speechless.
"Clearly the Witch was lying." Kate laughs but there no humor.
I try to think back fourteen years ago and realise something, "No Kate, i don't think she was lying."
Kate's eyes meet mine and she looks shocked, "What do you mean?"
"Fourteen years ago I did technically die. I was resuscitated back to life and placed into a coma, no one thought I was going to live."
"Oh shit." Kate whispers, her eyes are wide and I could see her trying to put things together. She stays quiet for a while and when we pull up at the pack house she kills the engine and reaches over her hands over mine.
"Honestly Eve it doesn't matter anymore. I'm just glad you're alive."
She pulls her hand away with a final squeeze and gets out of the car, muttering something under her breath which she assumed I couldn't hear. But i did hear it and it made me freeze.
"You're my brother only chance at happiness."
I wonder who this new witch character is?
Is she good, is she bad?
Who knows but one thing i can tell you is that she is an important part so keep you eyes peeled for her.
