I still hope you enjoy it x?

"You can't keep hiding in your room, Luna."

I pulled the duvet over my head, trying to block out his voice. Demarcus was standing by the entrance to my door, his arms crossed over his chest, an unimpressed look on his face.

"What happened was not your fault." I can hear his footsteps grow closer and I held on tighter to the edge of the duvet.

"You protected them as much as you could and no one blames you." His voice is reassuring and strong and if I wasn't hiding under the cover I was sure I would be able to make out the gentleness in his eyes.

I cry silently, my tears soaking the pillows and making them wet. Ever since the rogue attack I had refused to step out of my room. Any strength or willpower I had built up had crumbled to dust, the moment I had seen Emma, closed eyed and bleeding to death in her brother's arms.

"She could have died." I finally whispered, mostly to myself but when Demarcus clears his voice I know he heard it too.

"Exactly- she could have, but she didn't. You managed to save her before that could've happened."

I shake my head from underneath the duvet, my mouth dry and hoarse.

"You didn't see it." I reply, my salty tears staining my lips, "She was so pale, so bloody..."

"I think you are forgetting Luna, that it was me who healed her. Believe me, I know exactly how she looked."

After I had frozen in shock, Jayden had caught up with me and realising I was in a daze had thankfully managed to take control of things. He had ripped the fatally wounded Emma out of Danny's arms and raced back to the pack house where an already awaiting Taliya worked alongside Demarcus to bring Emma practically back from the dead.

It was Demarcus' magic which eventually saved the little girl.

"Sven and Cathy..." I whisper, my thoughts going back to the moment I had seen the children's parents outside the medical room. I had never seen two people so distraught before. For the first time in my life, I could actually see someone's heartbreak in front of me and it was something I never wanted to see again. The way that Cathy had fallen to the floor, her eyes red, her screams still echoing in my ears. I remember the way she had tried to claw her way out of Sven strong hold, in order to get to Emma, as if by touching her daughter she would be able to save her, to take away all the pain.

Sven himself was only a shadow of his usual tough self. The man was cracking in front of me and all I could do was stare at them helplessly.

"The only thing those two feel for you is gratefulness." Demarcus says but I ignore him.

"The vision came true though."

There's silence in the room at my words and I know Demarcus is trying to find something to say to reassure me.

"And if this vision came true, then so will the other one."

Silence once again.

"No. We won't let that happen. We will be prepared for whatever comes our way." Demarcus had more courage than I did.

I close my eyes, not even having the energy to bother with a reply.

I slept for a long time, so long that when I finally woke up it was dark outside, the glow of the moon illuminating into my room through the window. But that wasn't why I had woken up, there was something else, which made my whole body tense. I stayed still in bed, not moving a muscle.

There was someone in my room.

I could smell them, their scent was unfamiliar and they weren't part of this pack and more importantly they weren't a werewolf.

I continued to feign sleep, trying my hardest to keep my breathing steady and leveled but it was too late.

An unfamiliar femine voice spoke up, making me stiffen, "Oh stop pretending sweetie, I know you're awake." The voice was high and silky and full of confidence.

Slowly I shifted in bed and pulled myself up, my eyes quickly adjusting to the darkness as the cover fell and pooled at my waist when I sat up.

My eyes locked onto the figure sat in the corner of my room, her posture was straight, one leg crossed over the other, her right hand fingers tapped on her crossed legs.

"Who are you?" I ask and the intruder say nothing.

I quickly click my fingers and the lights in the room turn on, making me flinch at the sudden brightness. I look back at the woman and as soon as my eyes land on her I gasp.

She watched me intently, and with a strange curiosity her dark eyes roam over my body, taking in all my features.

I do the same to the lady and I can't help but feel impressed. I have never met a woman so put together and elegant. She was beautiful, there was no

doubt about it, but she exuded incredible confidence and power. One look at her and I knew who she was.

"Demelza?"

The woman smirked, her eyes twinkling with amusement.

"Ding Ding!" She laughs, it sounds delicate and feminine and it instantly makes me feel uncomfortable. She leaned back in her chair, making herself comfortable and this time I look over her more carefully.

Long black hair, big dark brown eyes, a small heart shaped face and small lips. She looked to be in her late thirties at the oldest.

Demarcus was right, I did look strikingly like the woman in front of me.

"Well my darling, you know who I am, won't you tell me your name?" There's an accent to her voice but I don't know from where, yet even the way she speaks is powerful, each word is well formed and dominating.

"Why are you in my room?" I ignore her question and it makes her smile which only further angers me. She was playing with me, toying around trying to get a reaction.

"I thought you were Zachary Stones mate," there's an edge to the way she spits out 'mate', "so why aren't you sleeping with him?"

I ignore her, but she continues, her left eyebrow raising, "Oppsies," she says, raising a delicate hand to her lips, making a mocking face, "I'm so silly, I forgot Alpha Stones in a very deep sleep." I grit my teeth, "Poor guy must be awfully tired." she drawls out in her mocking voice.

"I'm warning you Demelza, get out of my room and out of this territory before-"

"Before what?" she interrupts, she leans forward, her lips pouting. "Before you scream for your guards? Before mindlink your pack members?" She bursts out laughing, her petite shoulders shaking with force.

"Don't make me laugh sweetie, I know you and your dear Alpha haven't finished the mating process and that means there's no way for you to mindlink all your beloved pack members."

I try to hide my surprise at her words. How could she know that?

"And I also know very well that even if you did scream at the top of your tiny little lungs for help, no one would be able to hear you."

I growl at the woman, infuriated by her smugness.

"Who says I would call for help?" I make a point of looking her up and down with an unimpressed glance, "I can take care of you myself."

I hide a smirk at the way her eye twitches at my comment, but she hides it well with a smirk.

"Ah ha? Just the way you took care of poor little Emma?"

That was it. In a flash I was up and holding the woman up against the nearest wall by her throat.

"I will kill you." I snap, "Now stop fooling around and tell me what you want."

Instead of looking alarmed or scared or even the tiniest bit anxious at the fact that my hand was tightening around her slender neck, she just laughed, the noise awkward and forced since my hand was still around her throat, choking her.

"Oh darling," she whispered, the smell of roses and smoke filling around me, her eyes twinkled as they fixed on mine. Her smile filled her small face and I flinched when she lifted her hand to my face.

"This is no way to treat your mother."

What the actual fuck??

So the secret is out. Not really a secret to be honest because most of you figured it out anyway lol.?

However I do want to say, some of you had come with this idea that Eve is actually a reincarnation of Demelza and I am so freaking impressed. Never had I even thought of that and I kind of regret not thinking of it first.?

Unfortunately this story pretty much revolves around Demelza being Eve's biological mother, so its too late for me to change my idea.?

But I have to admit that would have been an amazing plot twist- damnit!?
