Chapter 1 #2
Slowly, I placed my hand in his, and electricity immediately wrapped our hands into a cocoon.
Both of us looked down at the same time before we gazed back into each other’s eyes.
My stomach was all twisted and knotted because I hadn’t shared this kind of connection with Syris not once.
I wasn’t sure the kind of message the universe was sending out, but I wasn’t biting.
Removing my hand from his, I cleared my throat.
“It’s nice to meet you, Muse. I’m Era.”
“Era,” he whispered more to himself than me.
The way my name rolled off his tongue was similar to creamy butter being spread on a roll.
I was brought instant gratification, and I could listen to him say my name all day.
“That’s a very beautiful name. Now that I have your attention, join us and play a game or two, Mizz Lady.
It’s better than sitting here alone and bored. ”
I smirked. “Who said I was bored? I’m perfectly content at the moment.”
“Be that as it may, the sun is out, the ocean is surrounding us, but most importantly, I’m here in your space.
You can join us and play volleyball, or I can sit right here with you and keep you company.
The choice is yours,” he stated, with a very seductive smile.
Muse was such a charmer and although I wouldn’t mind him keeping me company, I knew Syris would have a fit. So, I decided to play instead.
“Let’s play some volleyball then.”
“I’m wit’ it,” he voiced, and stood.
I grabbed onto his hand and together, we marched towards his friends, and the long white knitted net. I hadn’t played volleyball since high school, but I had no worries. After Muse introduced me to everyone, the game started back in full swing.
When it was my turn to serve, I spiked the ball, jumping into the air, and rolling on the warm sand like it hadn’t been years since I played.
I was sweating, but it felt great to be active again.
We played a few games since I’d joined. It was my turn to serve again, and just when I was about to serve, I heard Syris’s deep voice calling my name.
My head snapped to our beach cabin, and he stood waiting for me on the porch.
Walking over to Muse, I tossed him the ball then smiled. “Thank you for the opportunity and fun. It was nice meeting you, Muse.”
“The pleasure was all mine. I’ll be seeing you again, Mizz Lady. It doesn’t matter whenever, wherever, or whatever, I’ll see you,” he spoke in his heavy accent.
I blushed like a schoolgirl. Why was I blushing so hard when I was a newlywed? Turning away from them, I walked to a brooding Syris, whose eyes burned a hole in whatever he was staring at behind me. My guess it was Muse, but he had no worries because all I wanted was him.
I sat on the first stair of our open layout beach house.
The stars twinkled above in the night sky as the beautiful dark ocean waves splashed onto the sand.
Both nature and I were in such a serene state as I admired the green mountains and forest that surrounded us.
When I focused back on the ocean, I gulped hard as Syris rose from the water in slow motion.
His long locs hung loosely as water cascaded down his majestically dark cast. I looked on in awe as he walked on the sand and droplets of water dripped from the ends of his locs. Every part of Syris’s body was toned, stacked, and muscular.
The six pack he sported was so defined that you could literally play a game of bean bag toss on his abs.
His thighs were so toned that it looked like he was a professional athlete.
Syris stood six-two over my five-five height, and I loved it because I had no problem climbing my baby like a spider monkey.
My eyes trailed over the sand that covered his large feet, and up his muscular legs until I stopped at the veiny beast that aimed in my direction.
Syris was a solid eight inches, and he had girth.
The width of his dick had to match a small forearm.
Every time he entered me, it felt like I was filled to the brim or stuffed like a holiday turkey.
There was nothing, I mean absolutely nothing, compared to the slow strokes he delivered.
I don’t know, maybe it was because he was my first everything, that’s why I felt this way.
Whatever it was, I never wanted him to stop.
Syris stopped in front of me, and a devilish smile covered his almost clean-shaven face.
“Will you join me in the bedroom?” he inquired in his deep voice.
My brain was filled with fog, as the words I wanted to deliver, had shimmered into a distant memory.
Syris extended his large hand, and I finally nodded and used my hands to imitate what I wanted to say, as if I was a student of the American Sign Language Association.
“Well alright, miss speechless.” Syris chuckled, then picked me up, and we entered our resort for a long night of passionate lovemaking and nasty sex.
The next day, Syris rented bicycles, and we rode into town to grab fresh produce and explore nature. “Is that all that you want?” he probed.
I looked down at the basket and scanned over my favorite fruits and new ones I wanted to try.
Chewing on my bottom lip, I squinted my eyes as I ran over the mental list of things I wanted and since we had everything, I was good to go.
I looked at Syris, and a look of patience was displayed all over his face, and I loved how patient he was with me. “Yes, I’m all good, baby.”
“Alright, Butterfly.” Syris winked at me then turned and paid the produce stand owner.
Syris grabbed the bags then placed them on the handlebars of his bike.
We set off to the resort, and I grinned as I followed behind him and admired Coral Hive’s beauty.
The greenery and oceans had me most captivated because Illinois had its own beauty, but the country of Coral Hive was simply captivating.
I felt so at peace as a gentle breeze blew through my wild curls and colorful sarong.
I thought Syris would have had a problem with me only wearing a white bikini top and bottoms, and my sarong, which molded to my thick physique, but he was totally cool with it.
We paddled and made small talk until we made it back to the resort.
Syris placed our bikes in the bike rack then carried the bags into the kitchen.
As I put up the food, I spoke loudly so he could hear me. “Hey, do you want me to make you a midday snack or drink?” I could also see him from the kitchen’s open layout.
He removed his shirt, pants, and slides, then climbed into bed on his stomach. “No. I’m good, beautiful. I’m going to take a quick nap, then I’ll make you dinner.”
“You’re too sweet, baby, thank you. Get you some rest while I finish putting up the food, then I’m going to go for a swim.”
“Okay. Wake me if you need me, Butterfly.”
I walked over to him and kissed his defined cheek and his lips. He smirked then nuzzled into his pillow.
“Will do.”
Entering the kitchen, I finished putting up the food, then placed my ring on the nightstand before I exited our cabin.
I didn’t want to lose it in the ocean because it was a tad bit loose for my liking, but Syris said he would have it altered when we returned home.
I left my sandals on the outside sitting area, and I walked down the stairs to the ocean sectioned off for those of us that stayed at the resort.
There had to be like twelve other houses around, but nobody seemed to be out right now.
I was happy because I had more time to swim alone. My thong bikini was wedged between my ample cheeks as I removed my sarong. I padded to the ocean, then finally dipped in. The water was so warm and comforting.
It was exactly what I needed to make my day even more relaxed.
I swam underneath for a few minutes before I emerged and wiped my eyes.
I floated around and admired my surroundings until I noticed a tall, brown-skinned brother with an athletic build watching me from the sitting area of his beach house patio.
He waved, and my face twisted out of confusion. It was strange because there were three women surrounding him. I knew at least one of them had to be his girlfriend or wife.
They were feeding him and fanning him like he was some kind of king or something. He did play volleyball with us yesterday, but I remembered seeing him when Syris and I first arrived. My eyes flitted to the left of him when I saw a man, damn near comparable to a God, walked out of his beach house.
A beautiful smile adorned his face as we stared too many seconds too long at each other, but I couldn’t take my eyes off him. It was Muse, and butterflies filled my stomach like crazy. I swam slowly around the water, but not before I noticed how the sun beamed on his dark caramel complexion.
“Morning, Mizz Lady,” he greeted me with that alluring wide smile and thick accent of his.
My God, that man was so breathtaking. I didn’t want to be rude, so I smiled back and gave an awkward wave.
Muse blew me an air kiss as I took notice of how tall, sculpted, and striking he was again.
I’m not gon lie, had I not been married, I most definitely would have made the first move, but nope not today.
I looked back at the other brown- skinned brother with sprinkles of salt and pepper in his hair, and he winked at me.
Quickly, I looked away because I didn’t want any trouble surfacing. I didn’t know what they had going on, but I wasn’t about to entertain either one of them today. With men these days, there was no telling what they had going on, and I didn’t want to cause any problems.
No matter how intrigued I was by Muse, it was best I didn’t indulge him. I backstroked aimlessly around the water until I could no longer take the sun pelting down on me. Just when I was about to step onto the sand, I stepped down on something hard.
