CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR
Bane
Her feet are tied to the bed, and she’s spread eagle before me. Her hands are bound in red, and the look in her honey-brown doe eyes is both turned on and defiant. She likes to test me, push my boundaries, and I like to do the same with her. She challenges me. She’s carrying my child in her perfect, curvy body, and even the thought of that has my lips lifting in a smile. I have never smiled as much as I have since she entered my life.
There hasn’t been as much sunshine around here as there is now.
Swiping my tongue over her lips, begging entrance, I moan when she opens and lets me in.
“Bane,” she pleads, needing more. Raising her bound hands above her head, I hook her wrists to the headboard and slowly make my way down her body, taking my time kissing, licking, and sucking every bit of her delicious, smooth skin. Lingering on her breasts and those pretty brown nipples, I enjoy every gasp and sigh that comes out of her mouth. My fingers are locked onto that soft skin on her inner thighs when someone knocks on the door.
“Fuck,” I moan, my face so close to heaven. Unable to stop myself, I slide my tongue across her pussy and swirl it around her clit when the banging starts again.
“Bane!” a deep voice calls out.
Shadow.
If I’d known he was going to be a cockblocker, I would have left him locked up in that tower.
“Fates! Do not open that door and let him see me like this!” Saylor whisper-yells, a horrified expression on her face. “I will never be able to look him in the eyes again.”
“Yes?” I call out to him, then lower my face back to her pussy and eat her out like a starving man.
“Fuck.” She moans, pulling the pillow next to her over her face to stop her loud cries. Picking up her discarded black panties, I push the pillow away and place them in her mouth instead, then sit back and take her in.
Damn! She’s perfect.
Her cunt is glistening and begging for more attention, her nipples are pebbled, and she’s gagged. She strains against the binds, arching her back. I’m so hard I think it would only take a slight touch from her for me to come.
“Step away from my sister and get out here! Everyone is here to talk about King Bax.” Shadow snarls, banging on the door again before storming away.
My lips return to her, and this time, I keep eating her until she’s screaming my name against her panties. Then I bite her inner thigh, drinking from her. Marking her.
Mine.
I don’t care who’s at the door. No one is going to stop me. She comes again, the pleasure from my bite sending her into a second orgasm. I wait until I’ve rung out every wave of pleasure before I seal the bite and move to straddle her.
And then I fuck her, for me, taking what I need with deep, hard thrusts. Like I had known, it doesn’t take long for me to come.
Quickly, I untie her by cutting the binds with a knife. There’s no time for me to take my time and sensually remove them. She pulls her panties out of her mouth, laying back on the bed, now sated.
“You okay, little wolf?” I check in with her, kissing her soft mouth.
She nods, lips twitching. “Yeah, but I’m not done with you yet.” She sits up and kisses down my neck. “We will go and meet with everyone, and you will treat me like the queen I am. And then you’ll bring me back to bed and finish fucking me like I’m your whore.”
My eyes widen, and my cock is now back to fully erect.
I’ve created a monster.
When I called her that last time, I wasn’t sure if she liked it, and I haven’t used it since.
I guess that answers my question for me.
“Sunshine—” I rasp, moving to push her back down, but she slides out of my reach and runs to the bathroom, her juicy ass jiggling in the process.
When I join her in the shower, she jumps out quickly, but I don’t miss her eyes on my hard cock.
A little later, we arrive in the throne room, where everyone is sitting around the large table we set up for meetings like this one.
Rave, Astrid, Axe, Kai, August, Shadow, Sage, Silver, Salem, Laurel, Pandora, and Soren are here.
When did we amass such a large group of allies?
No one is ever going to be able to stand against us.
“Sorry we’re late,” Saylor says, pulling out the chair next to the Witch Queen and taking a seat.
I sit next to her and glance around the table. “Shadow, if you want to take the lead on this.”
He dips his head and rakes his hand through his freshly washed and brushed long black hair. “King Bax betrayed me, my mate, and my siblings. Because of him, I spent years hidden and used in The Circle while Laurel was kept as his personal seer and treated as no more than a slave. I want him dead. Raiden can step up as king, and Laurel and I will be free.”
“He’s searching everywhere for her,” Silver adds, his eyes resting on Laurel’s new mating bands around her wrists. “And we all know he will do anything to not give her up. She has been his secret weapon all these years to win battles and see into the future. Without her, he is weakened.”
“Will Raiden be an issue?” Rave asks, pulling Astrid closer to him. “And if he does, who is next in line?”
“Shadow is,” Saylor adds, turning those doe eyes to her brother. “But Raiden isn’t like his father. I think he will be a good leader.”
“Will he let go of the fact that we’re about to kill his father, though?” Axe asks, resting his hands behind his neck. “Or is he going to come after us?”
“He doesn’t have to know it was us,” Salem adds, smirking. “We can just pin it on someone else we hate. I can go in invisible and take my time, letting him bleed out. I’ll be long gone before anyone notices.”
I look at Saylor with an expression that says your family is insane. She shrugs and grins.
“I’m glad you’re on our side,” Kai mutters while Soren’s gray eyes narrow on Salem. I don’t think those two will ever be friends, but at least they are just pretending the other doesn’t exist. We can work with that.
“It will be suspicious if Laurel is missing, Shadow turns up, and then suddenly King Bax dies,” Astrid points out, frowning.
“The shifters need an alibi. Maybe there’s an event or something coming up so everyone knows they were there,” Pandora suggests, turning to Saylor with a twinkle in her eyes. “Or maybe Saylor can make it look like all of us were somewhere, but meanwhile, Salem can sneak off and kill him.”
“I can make it look like Salem is still with us,” Saylor agrees, looking at her brother. “Are you sure you want to kill your own uncle?”
“He’s my kill,” Shadow interrupts, sharing a look with Salem. “You can come with me, but he is mine . He took years away from me and harmed my mate.”
Laurel frowns at her mate but stays silent.
“We want to come,” Sage and Silver demand at the same time, but Shadow shakes his head.
“No, you protect Laurel and Saylor.”
“I protect Saylor,” I snap, trying to maintain the nice weather outside. After a few rumbles of thunder, I manage it.
“She’s still my baby sister.”
“She’s my mate, and I will always make sure she’s safe.”
“Okay, you can both protect her,” Pandora interrupts, smirking. “You both have big dicks, wonderful. Now let’s get back to the plan.”
“I love you both, guys. Calm your asses down. Now, I can create the illusion, easy,” Saylor repeats, rubbing her hands together with glee. She’s wearing a bright pink dress today with her white gloves and yellow headband. The little evil expression on her face looks out of place.
“You can do that?” Axe asks, his brow furrowing. “You can make it so it seems like they are here when they aren’t? How?”
“It’s hard to explain, but I create it in my mind and then lock it into place,” she explains, shrugging. “I can make you see anything. I could make it look like your mate was cheating on you or that you woke up in a different realm. I could make you see anything I wanted you to.”
You could hear a pin drop.
“And I’m glad she’s on our side,” Astrid repeats Kai’s words about Salem.
“In two days, Peach is having her new bakery opening, and Bax is going to be there,” Sage speaks up, his light-green eyes widening as he remembers. “We could use that.”
“Peach? Why does that name sound familiar,” Saylor muses, her brow furrowed and her finger tapping on her cheek.
“She’s the best baker in the Shifter Kingdom,” Sage replies, making Saylor gasp in offense.
“Better than me?”
The brothers clear their throats, and Salem draws his finger across his neck while smirking at Sage.
You’re fucked , Silver mouths, his lip twitching.
“I didn’t say that.”
“Why have I never tried this? Peach?” Salem asks, scowling. “You’ve been going to eat cake without me?”
“You can’t try a person.” Sage smirks, finding the whole thing amusing.
“Now I know where I’ve heard the name. At the strip club!” Saylor calls out.
All the eyes in the room go to her. “You went to a strip club?” Shadow barks, looking around at his three brothers. “Has no one been watching over her?”
“It’s a full-time job…” Silver replies, turning his head to look at me, “… that we’ve now passed on to Bane here.”
“Where’s the strip club?” Kai asks, looking toward Axe with an arched brow. “And why don’t we have one?”
“We wouldn’t know anything about strip clubs. We are all virgins,” Silver says with a straight face, winking at his sister.
“I know you’re not, Silver, so you can cut the shit,” Saylor replies, rolling her eyes. “I know you said that to try and keep me a virgin, but the jig is up. I’ve had sex with two people at this table.”
Rave scrubs his hand down his face as Astrid scowls at him at the reminder.
“Don’t fucking remind me,” Salem yells, slamming his hand down on the table. “And actually, I am a virgin, Saylor. That wasn’t a lie.”
“You literally got caught going down on Pandora,” Astrid murmurs, turning the heat onto Salem.
“I fucking knew that happened! It wasn’t a dream, was it?” Salem roars.
“Motherfucker,” Soren mutters, lifting Pandora to sit on his lap and scowling at Salem. “It was a fucking dream, trust me.”
He throws in a scowl at August as if only just remembering their history too.
“Yeah, I ate her. I didn’t fuck her,” Salem replies, leaning back in his chair and surveying the group. “You know how much I like to eat.”
“For fuck’s sake,” Shadow mutters, kissing Laurel’s temple. She snuggles into him and glances around the table, wondering who will say what next.
“We have a sex club, pretty sure that’s enough,” Axe answers Kai, smirking at me. “Although, ever since Bane left, so have some of the females.”
I widen my eyes in a way that clearly tells him he should shut the fuck up right now.
Saylor’s head snaps to me faster than I’ve ever seen her move. “I’m sorry, what?”
“Do the seers see anything wrong with this plan?” August asks, trying to change the subject for me. He’s only been listening to this entire shit show of a meeting, so him speaking up now means he’s my new favorite adopted brother.
“All I’ve seen is that King Bax will die,” Astrid replies, shrugging and looking at Laurel. “You?”
“I think it’s a good plan,” she says, closing her eyes for a moment. “King Bax will die. And Raiden will reign. He will be a much better king for the shifter people.” Her brown eyes open. “And one more thing…” she addresses August. “You all need to turn Milana to our side. If you don’t, something bad is going to happen.”
And now all eyes are on August.
And all of them hold sympathy.
