W aking up next to Tae gives me a strange sense of déjà vu. Except this time, I can clearly remember what happened last night, and it still doesn’t feel real. Tae curls into me, sighing in his sleep. It’s still early, but there’s enough light coming in to see him next to me. My eyes follow down his chest to his underwear. I don’t understand any of this any better than I did last night. I’m fine with what happened with Tae, but what we talked about before that made it more confusing. I’m not attracted to other guys, but I want to kiss Tae again.
“Morning,” Tae opens his eyes slowly.
“Morning,” I repeat. I’m not sure what to say after last night. We didn’t really talk. I don’t know if I’m allowed to kiss him.
Tae stays there, cuddled into me, and places his hand on top of my arm that’s holding him around the waist. “Are you freaking out?” he asks.
“I’m fine. We should probably get up and figure out breakfast,” I change the subject, and Tae turns around to look at me instead of sitting up.
“Can I kiss you?” Tae smirks, leaning closer, but waiting for my answer. I press my lips to his, unable to stop the chuckle that wants to escape. Tae keeps the kiss simple, teasing me with a swipe of his tongue across my lips before pulling away. “So, what’s for breakfast?”
“I brought pancake mix.” I sit up and look around the tent before I find my pants. Luckily, we cleaned up last night so neither of us is waking up a mess this time. Tae gets out of the tangled mess of our shared sleeping bags, but instead of looking for his clothes, he stretches his arms out over his head. My eyes are drawn down the taut lines of his abs to his briefs. I’ve been friends with Tae long enough that we’ve seen each other in all states of undress, but it hits differently knowing what we did last night. I had my hand on his dick, and instead of it freaking me out, it turned me on.
“You like what you see?” Tae catches me looking, and I bite my lip, looking down at the floor instead. “Hey, it’s nothing to be embarrassed about. You can look.”
“I’m gonna get the fire started.” I pull my shirt on and step out of the tent, not waiting for Tae to respond. I focus on the task, keeping my eyes on what I’m doing even after I hear footsteps from the direction of the tent. The fire catches onto some of the smaller twigs and kindling; I keep building it higher before I can add more fuel.
“Can I help?” Tae asks. I glance over at him; he didn’t bother with a shirt. He’s standing there in just his jeans.
“Yeah. The bag with cooking stuff. Can you grab the kettle and get coffee started? I’m gonna need some caffeine before cooking.” The fire is ready, but I’m still out of it and overthinking everything that’s happened with Tae. He comes out with the supplies for making coffee and sets it up, adding the grounds to the kettle and getting it ready. We move together without talking, Tae making coffee as I get the supplies I need to start breakfast. When he’s finished, he fills up a coffee cup for each of us, adding sugar and cream to mine, just the way I like it. “Thank you.” I take the cup.
He leans closer like he’s about to kiss me, but then he stops when we’re almost touching. “Yeah, it’s the least I can do. After all, it is your birthday, and you’re the one cooking breakfast.”
I close the distance between us, pressing a quick kiss to his lips. “I don’t mind. This isn’t about you doing things for me or getting me gifts for my birthday. I just like coming here and spending time with you. You know that.”
Tae takes a slow sip of his coffee, not answering me back. He walks over to a large boulder near the fire and perches on the edge. “What are we thinking of doing after breakfast?”
“You want to go swimming later?” I ask, and when I look over at Tae, a smirk spreads over his face.
“Sure. That’ll be fun.” He takes another drink of his coffee, but his hand goes to the crotch of his jeans, not so subtly adjusting himself. My dick twitches in response, even if I’m not sure why Tae finds the idea of us swimming together hot.
In fact, it’s not until I head into the tent to change into my swimsuit that the thought hits me. Or rather, the sight of Tae walking right past me and casually stripping off his pants and underwear. He stands there fully naked, his ass sticking out, as he digs through his bag for his swim trunks. My dick is full mast, and since I already took off my jeans, there’s no hiding it. My boxers are tented out obscenely. Tae pulls out his swimsuit and steps into it before pulling it up his legs, never even looking at me. By the time he turns around, he’s fully covered, but I’m awkwardly fumbling with pulling up my swim trunks over my obvious erection.
His eyes look knowingly at my crotch before looking up again. “I’ll wait for you outside.” He’s smirking again as he walks past me and leaves the tent. I don’t have time to take care of my issue, so I do my best to ignore it as I finish up. I pull a T-shirt on, and the extra length hangs over my crotch, helping hide the bulge. The lake didn’t seem too crowded last night, but there might be more people here now. Even if there wasn’t the issue of being turned on by Tae, I don’t like being topless when I swim. I don’t feel comfortable showing off my body. I don’t have a toned set of abs like Tae.
“You ready?” he asks when I step out. Tae looks me over quickly without commenting.
“Let’s go.” I walk towards the lake, and Tae matches my stride.
“What are your plans when we head back? Is your family still celebrating?” he asks.
I know I brought it up before, but the small talk is a good distraction. “We’re going out for dinner. You can join us if you want.” We’re only out here for the weekend. We’re supposed to head back tomorrow afternoon, and suddenly that seems too short. Like what we’re doing out here might stop when we get back to reality.
“I almost forgot. I have a gift for you. I’ll get it out of my bag when we get back.” We’re already almost at the lake, and we’re not the only ones, but at least the groups of other people are further away. “Come on.” Tae grabs my wrist, pulling me toward the water. He pauses right at the edge of the shoreline to kick off his shoes. I follow suit, taking off my shoes before wading in to where Tae is now standing in waist deep water. He grins, my only warning before a splash of water hits my chest.
“You’re such a brat.” I move closer to Tae, but he backs up into deeper water before I can catch him. He keeps splashing me and laughing as I chase after him, until I catch a hold of Tae’s wrist. I pull him to me and grab his shoulders, dunking Tae under the water. An arm snakes around my hips before Tae grabs my ass. When he surfaces again, I keep my grip on him and press our lips together. A chuckle escapes Tae’s lips, but it turns into a moan as we kiss. He wraps his legs around my waist, pressing my groin against his ass. I move my hands to hold his hips as my dick throbs, demanding attention.
“Shit,” Tae is breathing heavily as he breaks the kiss. “We should stop. This isn’t the place.”
He’s probably right, and we did just get to the lake, but... “We could head back to the tent.” The words escape before I can overthink it.
Tae unwraps his legs from my waist and takes a deep breath. “What do you have in mind?” he asks. “We should probably touch base before we jump into this any further.”
“I don’t know,” I admit. “I liked what we did last night, but maybe we could do more?”
“More? Come on, Jude, I’m gonna need more words than that. I’m not a mind reader,” Tae teases.
“Blow jobs?” I blurt out. My cheeks are on fire, but it doesn’t stop the jumbled mess of my thoughts from coming out, too. “I want to know what it felt like that night, and I want to try it too. I probably won’t be very good—”
Tae interrupts my babbling with another kiss. “Trust me, your mouth on my cock is gonna be good. You’ve already got me hard just thinking about it.”
