Chapter Nineteen
Bennett kisses me the second we're inside his apartment.
I hear the lock flick but Bennett is spinning us around and all I can think about is his lips on mine.
His hands in my hair. His body pressing me into the wall.
It's Thursday and we just finished class half an hour ago.
Our families converge tomorrow. I don't know about Bennett, but I want to take advantage of being alone.
I have to go back to the farm in a couple of hours to help with the animals and to set up the tables for Saturday.
But that's a few hours away. This is right now.
My shirt is untucked and I can feel Bennett's fingers working my belt and jeans open.
We move a few feet into the apartment, working on shedding our clothes without breaking the kiss as much as possible.
I've been in this apartment a few times, only briefly though.
We finally make it to the bedroom. Bennett is naked and I'm working on getting there.
"You or me today?" Bennett asks simply. I smile and roll my eyes at him.
"Me," I say. "You got it last time."
Bennett laughs and shrugs. "That was your fault. I said we could switch."
"It was too late to stop." I kick my jeans to the side and get on the bed while Bennett moves to the bedside table and grabs what he needs.
I try to stay mindful we are in an apartment and not in my house as his fingers start stretching me open.
Bennett seems to be doing everything to make me make noise, though.
"You're a menace," I grunt through my teeth, glancing over my shoulder at him.
He grins back at me. "Just making you feel as good as I can."
Bennett kisses up my spine as he adds a third finger.
I hold myself up with one hand and reach down to my own cock for a few tugs.
Just to relieve a bit of the already growing pressure.
Bennett's hand knocks mine away and he clicks his tongue just beside my ear.
"This is mine today," Bennett whispers. "No touching. "
"What are you doing?" I turn my head to see Bennett knee-walking to the edge of the mattress.
He motions for me to roll onto my back and scoot to meet him at the edge.
Bennett kisses my lips as he sinks into me.
He swallows my moan on the first thrust. His hands hold my knees apart, giving him all the access he needs.
I'm at his mercy in this position and fucking love it.
His thrusts feel deeper, harder, with him standing over me like this. "God, that feels so good, Bennett."
He picks up his pace, skin slapping skin as he rams into me again and again.
It's rough, quick, dirty. Exactly what I'm growing to love from him.
He's fucked me slow before, taken his time to put all my senses into overdrive.
But this roughness, this way of him taking what he wants, makes me feel like I'm the most important person in the moment.
It makes me feel smaller than I am, younger than I am.
"I'm going to come," Bennett warns. He drops one of my legs and tugs on my cock quickly.
His nail digs into my slit, then he's tugging on my balls and pressing against my taint.
I shiver when his fingertips glide over the stretched skin where his cock is pounding into me.
My eyes roll as a round of precum dribbles from my cock.
"Come on, Nelson. Fuck, baby. I'm going to come. I'm…"
His thrusts go uneven and I can see his muscles tensing.
I know that expression on his face, the way his body reacts just before his orgasm hits.
I'm close, but I know he's going to come before me this time if I don't change our position.
I push him away, missing his cock immediately.
I move quickly, pulling Bennett down onto the bed.
I climb over him, positioning my ass over his cock and sinking down in one move. We both gasp at the change in position.
"Oh holy fuck," Bennett says. I mirror the sentiment, rising up a few inches before dropping back down.
My vision goes white with the angle, his head grazing my prostate over and over.
I know I'm moaning loudly, but I don't care a bit.
My fingers dig into his chest as his grip my hips tightly.
The sensation is overwhelming and without much warning, my cock pulses over and over again as the orgasm hits.
Bennett stills underneath me, moaning as his also hits him.
We take our time before separating from each other.
Despite the one that just got fucked, I have to help Bennett out of the bed.
He's being dramatic and I'm practically carrying him to the shower.
We both laugh at the obvious trail of clothes from the front door to the bedroom.
I turn the water on and let it warm up before we step in together.
Bennett's shower isn't big, but we've learned to make it work.
We've been sharing a shower every time for weeks now.
Bennett takes over once again and washes my body for me. I notice that he now has the same body wash and shampoo that I use. I don't know if that's for my sake or because he loves the smell. We end up making out under the spray of the water before getting out and dressed.
"Did you want to go to the house?" I ask an hour later when we turn off the main road and onto the farm.
I need to help with setting up and feeding the animals.
We haven't discussed what we're going to tell our families about us yet, so I'm okay if he wants to sneak away to the house undetected.
He shakes his head, though, surprising me.
"I'll meet them officially, if that's okay with you. I think it'll be better we get us out of the way before everything else this weekend."
I smile and kiss the back of Bennett's hand.
We park the truck outside the main house, next to Charlie's.
I leave the windows rolled down and the keys on the console.
I have no fear of someone stealing my truck here.
Everyone's car is here so I know they're all home.
Clark walks out the front door just as we reach the stairs.
He pauses and I see a flash of confusion and then recognition on his face. "Mister Murray?"
"Hey, Clark." We finish walking up the steps. "How are you doing?"
"I'm good. Why are you here?" Clark seems to finally register that I'm standing beside Bennett.
Another second of silence goes by before he gasps and waves a finger between the two of us.
"Is this who you've been sneaking around for the past couple weeks?
The one you told me about but wouldn't say who? "
"Okay, now. You're not my mother, Clark." I swat at his hand, but he's too quick and takes a step back. A familiar voice sounds from behind him.
"He might not be, but I am your mother." My mom's face appears in the doorway. I'm surprised, because they weren't supposed to be here until tomorrow. "Who is this, Nelson?"
The rest of the family seems to sense that something is going on and soon enough, all seven of us are on the porch together. I take Bennett's hand in mind. "Everyone, this is Bennett. My boyfriend. Bennett, this is everyone. My mom, dad, Charlie, Joyce, and you know Clark."
"How does he know Clark?" Charlie asks. He's more curious sounding than suspicious.
"I was Clark's history teacher in tenth grade." Bennett steps forward and shakes Charlie's hand. "And I'm sort of Nelson's professor at the college now."
"Professor?" My mom chimes in. "Why are you taking classes at the college?"
There's an awkward silence that falls over us.
Bennett turns back to me, looking like a deer caught in headlights.
I can see the regret on his face. I lay a hand on his back and smile, then turn to my mom.
"I'm taking a class there to be able to get a recertification.
A friend asked me if I could help out with his business this winter, but I needed this first."
"You do too much for others," my mom fusses. I glance between Charlie and our dad. I'm not sure if he's bought that, but he doesn't say anything of the contrary. "But it's so nice to meet you, Bennett. Come on in, we're just having some coffee and talking about this weekend."
"Oh, speaking of." I clap Charlie on the shoulder as we walk through the kitchen to the living room.
"Paul and his wife are coming. He said to put them down for a fruit tray.
Bennett's family is also coming down from Chicago, so I figured we could invite them as well.
Something about a proposal happening too. "
"Oh, how exciting!" Joyce claps her hands once before sitting down. "Who's getting engaged?"
"That would be my brother and his long term girlfriend," Bennett says.
There aren't many seats for all of us in the living room.
I pull Bennett down onto my lap. I see a few poorly hidden smiles, but no one says anything.
I like the feeling of having someone to show off.
"He's been bugging me to come back home for it, but with the class I can't. They apparently decided it'd be easier to bring the whole family down.
If it's too much, I don't have to invite them to the cookout. "
"Nonsense," Charlie says. "Everyone is welcomed. We're going to pick up the meet from Raker's Farm tomorrow and put it on the smoker overnight. He just butchered it a few weeks ago so it's fresh."
My mouth starts watering at the thought of a Raker's smoked meat.
It doesn't even matter what kind. Raker's has the market on fresh cuts.
We grow our own, granted in a much smaller number, but it's nowhere near what William Raker can do.
The conversation steers from food to Bennett and our relationship.
Clark chimes in here and there with little quips about the kind of teacher he was in high school.
It's all good things, which makes me happy.
Joyce and Mom leave us to talk while they get everything ready for dinner.
Bennett and myself are expected to join, which neither of us argue.
The conversations continue from one subject to another as we eat together.
I'm beyond stuffed by the time our plates are cleared.
Bennett's hand is on my thigh again and he squeezes to get my attention. He leans closer so only I can hear.
"If your parents are here tonight, where are we sleeping?"
"What are you two whispering about?" Joyce asks, a teasing tone in her voice.
"Mom, Dad, are y'all sleeping at the house?"
"No, sweetie. We're fine to stay in the guest room here.
You two go ahead to your house." I open my mouth to ask if she's sure.
I know the mattress in the guest room is smaller, good enough for one person, and I don't want to put them out just because I brought someone home. "Don't argue with your mama, now."
"Yes, ma'am." I nod and shoot a smile to Bennett. He returns it easily before turning to the rest of the table.
"The food was amazing," Bennett says. "Thank you so much for letting me join. No wonder Nelson is always talking about his family's cooking. You've been holding out on me if you can cook like this."
"Nelson Hargraves," my mom admonishes. "You best be feeding this boy well. He's all bones."
"I'm sure he's feeding him plenty," Clark mumbles on my other side.
I don't think he meant for me to hear that because his eyes are wide when I whip my head over to him.
His scared expression turns into full laughter.
He might be turning eighteen in another month, but that doesn't mean I want to hear him making sexual jokes.
Even if they are funny. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. "
"Yeah, I'm sure you are." I shake my head and flick my finger against the side of his head. He flinches away from me, which only makes me laugh as he covers his head. "Keep it up and see what happens."
"Nelson, leave my baby alone." My mom calls me out. We stare at each other for a second, then I turn back to Clark. He sticks his tongue out at me. I scoff and look back at my mom. "You are a grown man, Nelson. Give me some grandbabies and I might take your side every now and again."
"I'm sure he's trying," Clark says under his breath again.
Again, he's too young for these thoughts.
I shoot him a glare, which makes him break out in a whole new round of laughter.
I'll have to talk to him again, but I've noticed he seems happier after our previous ones.
I wonder if he's told his crush about his feelings and how that turned out.
I'm proud of him for exploring his sexuality and not being afraid to ask questions, even if he's still that innocent little boy in my eyes that is running around playing in the mud.
"We're going to head to the house then," I announce to the table. "I'll be back up to help with the animals in a bit."
"Nonsense," my dad says. "I'll help with them tonight and this weekend. You deserve some time off."
I want to say that I don't mind doing it, that I only have a few more months until I won't have the choice in doing it or not.
Charlie doesn't meet my eyes, so I just nod.
Bennett stands with me and we share hugs before heading back out.
The sun is making it's descent already, casting shadows around most things.
