Chapter 398 Familiar Faces

After Aurelion begged her relentlessly, Zara finally agreed to bring him along.

The filming began at the airport.

That was where she got her first taste of just how insane celebrity fans could be when greeting their idols.

The first segment was being filmed inside the airport, and the cast included a young actor and actress who were currently among the hottest stars in the industry. Once their fans got hold of the itinerary, they descended on the airport in terrifying numbers.

Celebrities passed through Magior Airport all the time, but it was rare for so many to appear together. This time, the terminal was packed so tightly with fans that it was almost impossible to move.

Wearing oversized sunglasses, Zara carried a backpack and pushed a suitcase through the screaming crowd toward security, looking utterly bewildered.

The fans kept shouting the names "Adolph" and "Bruno." Zara vaguely remembered hearing them somewhere before, but she could not place them.

Other names occasionally rose above the noise as well. Vivian had plenty of fans there too.

Zara had not arrived with Vivian's team. She had come later, though they were all taking the same flight. Vivian's manager, Cathy, had messaged to tell her that everyone else had already passed through security and urged her to get inside as soon as possible.

Zara checked Aurelion in for transport before going through security herself.

By the time she reached the departure lounge, Vivian and several other cast members were already there. Cameras had been set up outside the VIP lounge to capture the celebrities meeting one another.

The entertainment industry was a small world, and most of them crossed paths regularly. Still, several members of the cast had never met before, and the production team was hoping to capture some memorable first reactions.

Cathy was standing outside the camera crew when Zara arrived. She spotted her and gestured in her direction.

Zara nodded, walked over, and peeked inside curiously.

Several travelers were seated in the VIP lounge. Vivian occupied one of the couches, with Enoch sitting beside her.

There was a reason Vivian had remained famous for so many years. Even while sitting quietly, she looked breathtakingly beautiful, elegant, and effortlessly refined.

Now that Enoch's identity had been made public, she no longer seemed concerned about hiding their relationship. Although she was wearing sunglasses, it was obvious from her expression that she was chatting and laughing with him.

Enoch, on the other hand, appeared restless. He kept looking around, first in one direction and then another.

Vivian lowered her voice and said, "Zara will be here soon."

No one else could hear her, but Zara could.

So Enoch had been looking for her.

They were still filming, however. As an assistant, Zara could appear in the background without drawing attention, but it would not be appropriate to walk over and greet Enoch directly.

She asked Cathy to let him know she had arrived, then wandered off to find something to eat.

By the time she returned, boarding was about to begin. The people in the lounge started gathering their belongings, and the entire cast had finally assembled.

Zara recognized several familiar faces.

They were the sort of celebrities whose faces she knew but whose names she could never remember.

Among them were two young stars. The man was handsome and bright, while the woman was poised and strikingly beautiful.

The cameras remained trained on their faces.

Zara had seen too many beautiful people to be particularly impressed. But then the pair looked through the crowd, past the cameras, and their gazes landed directly on her.

Zara studied them for a moment.

The smiles on both their faces froze.

Well, well.

So they were both visitors from the Divine World.

Starluxe Entertainment already employed quite a few people from the other world, but Zara had not expected the two hottest young celebrities in the industry to be among them.

Interesting.

Zara beamed and waved at them.

With the crowd between them, no one else noticed.

Adolph and Bruno fell silent.

They had a feeling this trip was not going to be peaceful.

Zara beckoned Enoch over.

"Zara," he murmured softly.

Only after he removed his headset mic did Zara speak.

"Enoch, you agreed to come on this trip for your mom, but don't put too much pressure on yourself. Just treat it like a vacation and a chance to unwind. Think of it as being back in the countryside."

"Besides, I'm here with you. If anything happens, you can come to me anytime."

"But don't keep completely to yourself. When the older cast members talk to you, answer them politely. Be thoughtful and considerate, all right?"

Enoch understood what she meant. Although he still looked a little puzzled, he nodded.

Truthfully, he did not quite understand why Vivian had brought him along. Sometimes, she even acted deliberately affectionate with him in front of the cameras, which made him uncomfortable.

Yet beneath that awkwardness, he had a few private hopes of his own.

He was still happy to be there.

And when Zara spoke to him like this, he was willing to listen.

Adolph, who was leading the group ahead, happened to glance back and saw Enoch and Zara huddled together in conversation.

A complicated feeling immediately came over him.

He knew a little about Enoch's background, but since he was not involved in the core plan, he did not know the full story. He only knew that Enoch was special.

But Enoch was chatting so comfortably with Zara...

Did that mean even Enoch ranked above him in her eyes?

The thought made Adolph's heart sink.
