30. Chapter 29
Chapter 29
Esmerelda – Two Weeks Later
Warmness fills me, and I moan as my sleep begins to fade and my clit pulses.
What the…
I blink several times, then gasp as tightening pulls at my stomach, an orgasm pending, and I look down over the growing fourteen week bump to see Damian eyeing me, a twinkle in his eye.
The man looks proud.
Well, I’ll be damned, this is definitely a good way to wake up.
He sucks on my clit while pushing one finger inside me and I slam my head back and moan as my walls flutter around him before he pulls out, pushes two in, and tilts them. He continues rubbing, hitting my magic spot and black spots enter my vision before euphoria fills me. I scream as my orgasm takes over and Damian moans.
He rubs my walls gently and licks up my juices, allowing me to come back down before he removes his fingers, and I look down to see him sucking them into his mouth, making my clit pulse.
Damn….
Damian moans again then climbs up my body, covering it with his own before pressing his lips against mine, but I don’t kiss him back when I feel material between us, and I frown, causing him to lean up a little and raise a brow.
“Why are you not naked?” I ask with a pout, and he chuckles before pecking my lips.
“Because you haven’t been cleared yet,” he rasps, pecking my lips again to keep me sweet, knowing I won’t get any which is totally unfair until he admits, “I just missed your taste.”
Well, when he puts it like that...
I grin, peck his lips back, and ask, “Shower with me?”
“Is that question even warranted?” he retorts and climbs off me, making me smile as he bends and helps me up before wrapping his arms around me from behind and guiding us to the bathroom. His lips stay in the crook of my neck, sending goosebumps all over my skin.
He mumbles, “We need to hurry, though, because your dad will be here soon to get your brother, who is still asleep,” entering the largeish bathroom and I nod and lift my arms as his hands grip the edge of his t-shirt that I’m wearing, letting him help me undress.
Dad and his girlfriend broke up last week.
Apparently, Aiden needed to go to boarding school, and I needed to vacate the house. Well, that is what I heard her say to my father when I forgot Aiden’s bag for daycare and went in to grab it after we said goodbye to them. He was to sell the bakery, mom’s legacy, my and my brother’s legacy, and the home we grew up in if he wanted to stay with her.
It turns out she didn’t like how much Dad put me and my brother before her in the months they were dating and how she had to work around his schedule. It's safe to say he slammed the door on her after kicking her out.
I never liked her, and neither did Aiden. Heck, I can’t even remember her name because I was too busy eyeing the money signs in her eyes every time she looked around Mom’s bakery.
We met two days before he kicked her out, and it is safe to say it was not a good meeting. We were her test, and she failed.
She eyed me up the whole evening or more like she eyed my boyfriend, his cut, and then me like she could take him from me, not realizing my father was testing her when he asked me to bring Damian to the meeting at the bakery.
I’m just glad he ditched her before I hurt her.
“At least Daddy isn’t upset over his breakup,” I sigh as I turn in Damian's arms and wrap mine around his neck. He smiles at me and continues moving me backward towards the shower.
Today’s a big day for him.
Two weeks and without a word to his club, we’re showing up for the family day, and he’s going to ask Acid, Cannon, Slick, and Bullet to help him move into his house on club land… and me.
I was initially apprehensive when he mentioned moving in together and on club land to boot, but after talking it through with Dad, he encouraged me to proceed.
I love him, and we are having a baby, so what could go wrong?
“You ready for this afternoon?” he asks, his eyes racing between mine, stopping just shy of the shower.
I nod and reply, “I am, and as long as those women stick to their lane, I’ll stick to mine.” Damian snorts before pressing his lips against mine and I melt.
Clubwhores that is what could go wrong.
“Okay, this time I mean it, angel,” Damian says as he helps me off his bike, allowing me to use his arm as a crutch, “That is the last time you are going on the back of my bike until after you’ve given birth.”
I smirk and look down at my teeny tiny bump underneath my tank top, then look back at Damian and ask, “And how exactly am I getting home?”
He freezes mid-dismount and then curses as he climbs off his bike.
“Okay, after tonight,” he changes, and I chuckle.
He sighs, and I tilt my head as he looks at the building, chewing his bottom lip. I ask, “Are you ready for this? Truly?”
He hums and nods as his eyes come to me and replies, “With you wearing that cut, I think I am.” He swallows and looks up at the massive building again and says, “Six months is a long time away…”
“It is,” I whisper over the laughs and giggles echoing around us, “but they are still your family, and while you may be different, your love for them hasn’t changed, only your love for yourself.”
“I love you,” he says, and I grin and reply, “Of course you do because I am awesome obviously…”
He laughs and wraps his arm over my shoulders, then guides me towards the entrance, and I swallow the lump forming in my throat as concern hits me and burrow myself into his side.
Will they hate me?
I’m part of the reason Bullet’s sister is no longer here, even though it was out of my control. The woman did have someone attack me, but if Damian hadn’t given them an ultimatum, she’d still be here.
“Alright, let's do this,” Damian mutters and opens the door. Then, together, we walk inside.
The room is, well, it’s actually light and airy despite the wooden effect on the back wall and dark couches. There’s a pool table in the corner and a bar on the right side. Women and men are all talking and laughing, and then there are women glaring at the women wearing cuts, women who, despite wearing normal clothes, I recognize.
Clubwhores.
Damn, they are pretty, I mean, they are wearing way too much makeup, but they are pretty nonetheless.
“I thought you said the clubwhores wear underwear?” I whisper to Damian, and he hums, taking in his family, and replies, “Only after nine at night, but as soon as the clock hits five in the morning, it’s casual clothes only.”
Oh.
I nod because, yes, that would make sense.
“You ready to make it known that we’re here?” I ask as I watch everyone oblivious to us here.
“No point,” he replies, “I’ll give Levi on the count of three…,” I grin, and he continues, “One, two…,”
“Auntie Essy!” Levi shouts, and Damian groans, “Really?”
I laugh as he runs our way. Every eye comes to me, but I ignore them and kneel in time for Levi to throw his arms around my neck, and I chuckle.
“Hey, little man,” I whisper and hug him tightly before Damian grabs him underneath his armpits and lifts him, throwing him in the air making the cute boy laugh, and I grin before a hand appears in front of me. I lock eyes with Bullet.
I smile and take his hand, letting him help me up.
“How are you feeling, sweetheart?” he asks, and I reply, “I’m okay. I'm tired, but okay.”
He nods, concern etching off him, and nods to my stomach, “And the baby?”
I smile gently, squeeze his hand, and say, “The baby is good. Stop looking at me with guilt. You are not responsible for your sister’s actions.”
He smirks and says, “Sorry but that is my niece or nephew in there so the guilt won’t fade until you pop it out and everything is good.”
I snort then look at Damian to get him on my side with his friend and help him ease his guilt but pause at the scene before me then sigh.
“Damian, why are you dangling Levi by his foot?” I ask, placing my hands on my hips and Damian looks at me from the laughing child hanging upside down by his foot in mid-air.
“He said you were his favorite,” he claims, and I shake my head while Bullet chuckles.
“Put the poor boy down,” I demand, and he mutters, “You’re no fun,” playfully.
I can’t help the smile that comes out before Pitbull embraces me from the side. I grin his way, but he’s not looking at me. Instead, he is looking at my cut with hope.
“Son?” he asks without looking at Damian, his eyes fully on my leather. Damian sighs, righting Levi, who grins and runs over to me, hugging my leg and making me smile.
“Okay,” Damian says and quickly takes me from his father, the child wrapped around my leg following, then announces, “Brothers,” gaining everyone’s attention.
The music switches off, and I close in on Damian without meaning, hating the attention after what happened. The therapist said it’s normal to feel uncomfortable in a large setting after my trauma. I just didn’t believe him until now.
Also, it doesn’t help that the clubwhores are now glaring at me, and I really don’t want to start a fight.
“I would like to introduce you to my old lady, Esmerelda.” He announces, looking at me, then continues, “Who has also agreed to move onto club land with me.”
The room vibrates with the brothers cheering, and I chuckle as Damian’s arm tightens around my shoulders while his dad hugs him and rasps, “Thank you for coming home, son, and I am so sorry for everything.”
My eyes tear up when I feel Damian hug his dad back tighter before, one by one, every brother comes over to introduce themselves to me, not caring that I’ll mostly not remember any of their names after this.
Damian’s mom hugs me last, and it is only then that I let go of Damian and hug her back tighter as she whispers, “Thank you for bringing my son home,” I nod, knowing not to refute her words.
“He won’t stay loyal to that. He’ll be back in my bed in no time, right where he belongs, one way or another,” a voice rings out as someone walks past me, and I tense.
The woman sounds full of jealousy and possessiveness.
Honey pulls back and I shake my head at her not to cause a scene right now, but she ignores my gesture and looks to see who said the words.
Walking down a hallway are two women, the same two who glared at me he hardest after Damian announced me to the club, walking away and Honey shouts, “Candy, Crystal, get your ass’s over here right now!”
I wince as both women pause, and the room quietens.
“Mama?” Damian questions, and Honey points at the women, stating, “One of them declared you’d be in their bed in no time no matter what, and I’d bet your father's Harley it was Candy.”
The woman with multi-colored hair stiffens, and I’m guessing that is Candy, the same woman Damian mentioned last night might cause shit because he slept with her a lot after the whole Bethany crap.
Of course, she’s beautiful with an ass most women dream of.
I raise a brow at Damian because seriously, he couldn’t screw an ugly duckling but he just rolls his eyes at me and then glares at the women.
“Crystal?” Butcher says sternly, and Crystal looks at Candy, who shakes her head at her, indicating to keep quiet. This time, I roll my eyes. “Did Candy say that regarding our future VP, a VP who has an old lady, pregnant and all?” Butcher demands, knowing his old lady would not lie but giving the woman a chance to show where her loyalties lie, or well, that’s what I’m guessing.
What? I read a lot, so don’t judge.
Crystal timidly tucks her long white hair behind her ear and looks at me before admitting, “She did. She wants Jokester, always has.”
“More like his patch,” I chime in, unafraid of these two women.
Crystal stands up for her friend and scoffs, “And what you don’t?”
I raise a brow and admit, “I didn’t even know he was part of the club when we met.” She flinches at my truth while the brothers chuckle. I continue, “I refused to talk to him for weeks after I found out because he kept a whole life away from me when he knows every little detail of mine, so no, I wasn’t after his cut. I also didn’t encourage him to take his back so I could get an old lady patch. Bethany having me raped and me nearly losing our child did that.”
Crystal looks down in shame, then flinches again when Butcher booms, “Candy, get your shit and get out. Tate follow her and make sure she doesn’t try shit. Crystal, you are on warning until further notice meaning no sleeping with the brothers!”
Crystal nods and whispers, “I’m sorry, Esmerelda,” as Candy gasps, “What, no, this is my home,” and this time I flinch, but Damian wraps his arm around my waist from behind, cupping my tiny bump and whispers, “This had to be done, angel, she wouldn’t stop until you were out of this club all because I slept with her months ago. I won’t have her make you feel unwanted because if you leave, then I leave. That is how this works between us, and Butcher knows this.”
I nod, knowing he’s right, and then groan when Butcher says, “Funny, because your boyfriend lives just outside of town, where you disappear for days on end, not doing your work, pushing your luck. This isn’t your home, and we have proof of you stealing from the other clubwhores, Crystal mainly, and then giving whatever is valuable to your boyfriend to sell. Your attitude and threat to an old lady just sped up your eviction.”
Of course, she’s a traitor that I’d have to feel sorry for losing her so-called home.
The women all scream and shout as Candy freezes, her eyes wide. I mutter, “Okay, I don’t feel sorry for her anymore,” and Damian chuckles while the women chase after Candy, who, instead of going down the hallway for her things, jumps out of the open window headfirst.
“Ouch, that’s got to hurt,” I mumble as a painful cry echoes, and Levi holds my leg tighter and I cup the back of his head.
“Alright, brothers, let's give Jokester and his old lady a real welcome home!” Pitbull shouts, ignoring what had just happened. The brothers cheer while Damian looks at Bullet and asks, “Wanna help a brother out with moving?”
“I’ve been waiting fucking months for you to say that!” Bullet returns grinning, but he soon groans when Scarlett shouts, “Language, Ace!” and Levi copies, “Daddy fucking is a no-no…”
I laugh, leaning against Damian while Bullet picks up his son and tickles him while Scarlett slaps her forehead with her palm, and a sense of calm takes over. I realize I’m comfortable here.
