Chapter Twenty-Two

Krampus

Drac comes out into the lobby with tears in his eyes, wiping them away with the back of his hand like any proud papa should.

“It’s another boy,” he exclaims, his smile reaching his ears.

“Congratulations, brother!” I shout, slapping him on the back just as Autumn rushes in to give him a hug.

“Your dad was with you guys the whole time, I hope you know that.”

Drac’s bottom lip quivers. “I know, I felt him.”

Both of Amber’s and Drac’s moms were already allowed back to the delivery room, along with a very excited Giovanni, who couldn’t stop bouncing in the car.

His mouth moved a mile minute, asking different questions here and there about what having a baby brother would be like.

Mindy did her best to keep up with his flurry of questions, but even she was no match for Giovanni’s inquisitiveness.

Now, he’s just excitedly skipping around his father’s knees, singing at the top of his lungs, “I’m a big brother!” nine million times.

“How’s momma?” Mindy asks, stepping out from behind me, so she can hold my hand.

“Great,” he says in relief. “Everything went smoothly. She says this birth went a lot faster than her last one.”

Mindy nods. “I’m so happy for you guys. Any idea what you’re going to name him?”

Drac laughs. “You’re going to love this one, Voor. We wanted to keep the G name going, so we decided to name him Gage after your favorite horror movie kid.”

Voorhees pales. “Not after that creepy ass kid from Pet Sematary. Please tell me you didn’t name him that.”

Drac slaps him on the back. “I knew you’d love it, Brother.”

Voorhees groans. “How do you expect me to like the kid when he’s named after my most hated horror movie?”

Drac chuckles. “You’ll get over it.”

“Did you at least give him a solid middle name?” I question, positioning myself on the arm of a couch nearby so Mindy can lean into me.

He nods. “Yeah, it’s kind of unique though.”

“What is it?” Phantom asks.

“Richley. It’s a combination of his two uncle’s names.”

Both Voorhees and I share a look.

“You named him after us?” Voorhees’ voice breaks a bit.

“Yup, it was an easy agreement between Amber and I. We thought about naming him after the grandpas who have passed away, but their names never really meshed too well together. So, we decided his full name will be Gage Richley Frazier, naming him after the two men who have been by our side since the beginning.”

“Damn, who cut the onions in here?” Voorhees exclaims, wiping tears from his eyes.

Both of us charge Drac at once, hugging him so damn tight he struggles to breathe.

“Come on guys, it’s not that big of a deal.”

“Not that big of a deal,” I yell, scolding him with my eyes. “I’ve never had anyone named after me before. It’s truly an honor my friend.”

“Can we see the little guy?”

Drac shakes his head. “They only want four people in the room at all times, so the grandmas are first, then we’ll bring the rest of you in.

We nod, both of us eager to see the newest Elm Street Rider.

It’s almost an hour later before we’re called back. We let Autumn go first, just in case Krueger wanted to say something to his late wife and new grandson. Apparently, whatever was said was a doozy because by the time we enter the room, Drac’s looking a little pissed.

“Dude, you okay?”

He shakes his head.

“What’s wrong?”

He waves me off. “It doesn’t matter.” He shakes off whatever is bothering him and hands the baby to Mindy.

“Oh my gosh, he’s so cute!” she exclaims, admiring his little button nose that looks so much like his mom’s. “How you doing, Amber?”

She looks exhausted, but she forces out a smile. “Like a woman who just popped out a baby and lived to tell the tale. Thank you guys for coming.”

“Of course, lady, we wouldn’t have missed it.” Voorhees kisses her on the forehead, then takes a step back so I can do the same.

The second the baby’s placed back in Drac’s arms, he softens, whatever was bothering him long since forgotten.

“Damn, I didn’t think it would hit me this hard,” he exclaims, holding his son with so much love and admiration. Then he looks over at Giovanni, beaming with pride. “We make some pretty fantastic kids, Amber.”

She nods, cuddling with Giovanni who’s crawled up in her bed. “We really do.”

“How long do you have to stay in here?” I ask her, knowing they have a lot of work and late nights ahead of them.

“A couple of days. Nothing too bad. Speaking of which, we have a question for you guys.”

“Sure, what’s up?”

“Well, there’s some people in Italy I’d like to see again, and introduce Eddie and Gage to. We were thinking about it, and we’d love to renew our vows in Italy with some of our best friends by our sides. Would you guys be interested in joining us?”

Voorhees is already jumping from side to side. “Heck yeah we would! Who doesn’t love a destination wedding?”

Amber giggles. “We don’t want anything to big. Just you guys, Phantom, Autumn, our mothers, and of course Mindy.”

Mindy’s eyes widen. “Me?”

Amber nods. “Yes, girl! We want you there too.”

“But you guys just met me.”

“It doesn’t matter. You’re like family to us now, and we’d love for you to be there.”

Mindy’s head swivels my way. “Are you okay with this?”

“Why wouldn’t I be?”

She shrugs. “Oh, I don’t know, maybe because of the whole Mosely thing going on.”

Drac moves to stand next to Amber. “You’ll be safer in Italy than you will be at your shop, Mindy. But it’s okay if you don’t want to come, we just figured it be the best way to keep you protected.”

She smiles. “You guys really know how to make a girl feel safe, but I don’t know. I really don’t have the money to make that kind of trip.”

“Don’t worry about it,” I grumble, low enough so she can hear. “I got you covered.”

“Are you sure?”

“Absolutely!” she meets my hated gaze, both of us thinking about the last few nights we’ve shared in the bedroom together.

She blushes, that cute adorable red, blossoming over her cheeks.

“Tell me you’ll come, Mindy. I know we just met, but I’d love to have you there as one of my bridesmaids.”

Mindy turns to face her, all smiles and sunlight. “I wouldn’t miss it, Amber.”

Amber grins, then her smile quickly shifts to one of pain. “Hey guys, I hate to do this, but I’m not feeling that great. I think I need to take a nap. Do you mind heading out so I can get some sleep?”

“Of course!” we all say in unison.

“Get some sleep, little mama, you’re gonna need it,” Voorhees informs her, just as he bends down to give her another forehead kiss. “We’ll see you guys when you come home.”

Her mouth slightly twitches upward, but she’s already half asleep, the toll of giving birth already weighing on her shoulders.

“That was quick,” I whisper, just as Drac walks us to the door.

“Yeah, she’s been floating in and out of consciousness since Gage got here. Do you guys have everything handled back at the clubhouse?”

I nod. “Yup, no need to worry, Prez. The club will still be sitting there when we get back.”

He smiles. “Good, I know I can trust you guys to keep shit in line while I’m gone. I’m counting on you guys to stay out of trouble until then.”

“No promises,” Voorhees says with a laugh. “We got you, Bro. Just enjoy being a dad for the next couple of days.”

He gently takes Gage away from Mindy and grins. “Oh trust me, this is the best day of my life. But I’ll see you guys later. Thanks again for coming.”

Mindy was super quiet the whole ride home. Honestly, we all were. I’m not sure if any of us really knows how to process what just happened.

Amber having her baby early was a shock to us all, but it definitely brought everyone together in an unexpected way.

“You okay?” I ask her, watching as she takes off her jacket and carefully places it on the bed.

She smiles, but it’s not one of her usual ones that’s filled with sunshine and rainbows.

“Yeah, just thinking…”

“About what?” I question, moving across the room so I’m hovering just behind her.

“The future,” she blurts out. “Whether I’ll even have one or not.”

“Come on, Mindy, don’t say that.”

“I’m scared, Rich. Holding Amber and Drac’s baby gave me baby fever really bad.” The thought of her pumping out my babies has my dick solid as a rock. What I wouldn’t give to fill her with my seed and make some cute babies of our own someday.

“Is that a bad thing?”

She sighs. “No, it’s a great thing. But it also scares the crap out of me. I just met you and I’m already thinking about what it would be like to have your kid.”

Same, baby. Same.

“Isn’t that crazy?” she asks, waiting for a reaction from me. “Tell me I’m crazy for thinking this way when we just met a few weeks ago.”

Before she can protest, I pull her into my arms, giving her a deep kiss that has her kicking up her foot and sighing. “Baby, it’s not crazy. I’ve been thinking the same thing since we left. It’s all I can think about, actually.”

“Really? You’d honestly want a baby right now with me?”

“As crazy as that sounds, yes. Having a baby with you would be amazing.”

There’s that sunshine smile, I love so much. The way it warms my heart and brightens the room, has me kissing her again.

“Gosh, this is so crazy. I’ve never met a guy and instantly wanted babies with him like this… loving him like I am you.” She freezes the second the words leave her lips, staring up at me with frightened, wide eyes. “Oh fudgesticks, I did not mean to blurt that out like that.”

“It’s okay, Mindy.”

She places a hand against my chest and slowly backs away. “No, it’s not okay. It’s crazy! We just met.”

“Sometimes you just know.”

She shakes her head. “We are so different from each other though.”

“And that’s what makes us great. You’re the Beauty to my Beast, and look at how quickly they fell for each other.”

Her hand gently cups my face, those hazel eyes shining with unshed tears. “If I asked you to put a baby in me right now, what would you say?”

“Your bed or mine?”

She laughs. “It’s that easy for you, huh?”

I nod. “So easy.”

“Well, I guess since we’re here, it be your bed then.”

Her scream fills the room as I lift her off her feet, carrying her caveman style towards my bedroom before she can rethink it.

The second she hits the bed, I’m moving over the top of her, kissing those seductive lips like I own every inch of them.

“Just say the word, Mindy, and I’ll fulfill any wish you want.”

Her hooded gaze blinks up at me before her hand cups my cheek. “My only wish is that you stay by my side forever, Rich. I don’t know what I’d do if I were ever to lose you.”

She then drags off her top, her milky white breasts popping out to greet me the second she unsnaps her bra.

“Fuck, you’re so goddamn beautiful.”

She hikes up her skirt, tearing off her undies until that bare pussy is ready for my cock.

“Let’s not waste anymore time, Rich. I’m horny, ovulating, and ready to fuck.”

Damn, her dirty talk is fucking beautiful.

My hands fly to my cut, shucking it off and onto a chair before I quickly discard my shirt, pants, and boxers. I’m already hard as fuck, so the second I crawl over her, my cock’s already perched at her entrance, ready to dive in.

“Are you sure you don’t want to use a condom?”

She shakes her head. “No, I want to feel us to skin to skin. No protection. No barriers. Just us fucking and making babies.”

My cock teases her entrance, the tip stroking those soft folds as I tease and caress her. “Making babies, huh?”

Her eyes flutter ever so slightly as she sighs in content. “Yup, so let’s get going, our future babies aren’t going to make themselves.”
