Our big road trip was only a few months away, yet our to-do list became longer with each passing day. As the tasks multiplied, our dedication didn’t waver, and we kept plugging along, Jolene’s dream almost within our reach. To be the one by her side while she fulfilled her aspirations was more than I could ask for. My first dream was owning my own farm, something I accomplished a couple of years ago. My other dream was a life with Jolene, to be able to love her every day, and start a family with her, and I finally had it. So who was I to stand in the way of hers when I already had everything I ever wanted?
