The Alev: A realm located on Earth that is home to three separate species. Home of the Dragao.
The Dragao: A fierce, dangerous, and territorial humanlike species of dragon shifters who can only change into their beasts upon finding their fated mates.
Humans: A species who were brought against their will to Alev centuries before.
The Draco: A subspecies of the Dragao who have evolved over centuries to allow them to shift into their dragon forms without having found their fated mates.
The Legion: A group of Draco.
The Cord: A physical and chemical reaction when a Dragao male finds his fated mate.
Scorch Season: When the dual suns shine the brightest and hottest, scorching the land and killing any flora.
The Pit: The human term to describe the system and network of social and cultural development underground.
