24. Chapter Twenty-Four
Chapter Twenty-Four
“Well, that went rather well, wouldn't you say?" I ask, turning to look at both men.
“It did,” Nikos agrees, looking at me, a whisper of a smile on his beautiful face.
Tom leans over to plant a soft kiss on my lips, then helps me stand. “It sure went a lot better than I expected."
“You were nervous about it?” Nikos asks.
“I was a little worried, to be honest. Lisa, apparently, is a great judge of character.”
Nikos looks at his watch, walking to the front door. “Well, it was a great experience, guys. Lisa, I'll see you back at work. Tom, thank you for having me here."
I turn to look at Tom and he just nods, and my eyes follow Nikos as he closes the door softly behind him, leaving just as smoothly as he entered, not just my home but my body, too.
“So…was it as good for you as it was for me?” I ask after Nikos leaves.
He surprises me by sitting next to me and taking my hand in his. “It was an experience, to say the least. You’re good? Happy?”
“Yes. It was incredible. Better than I expected.”
“Better, huh?”
“Don’t do that! You know what I mean. It could have been a disaster.”
“Well, I’m happy you’re happy, sweetheart. He’s not half bad, either. I kind of like him.”
“I told you you would.”
“So, how’s it going to work out with you two at work now? Should I be worried?”
“Seriously, Tom? You don't have to worry about anything like that. I know how to handle him," I say, looking into his eyes. "But, let's say, for argument’s sake, what if—” I start, voicing my thoughts and he turns to look at me.
“You want to fuck him when I’m not around?”
"Yes. What then?”
“Darling, you already let him make love to you. You let him kiss you. I think you already know what I want from this point onward.”
“Yes,” I say, without even thinking about it. “You want the truth.”
“Yes. Always the truth. If you feel the need to fuck the man, go ahead and do it. I’ve shared you with him once. I won’t mind doing it again. Just be safe.”
“So, you’re saying we might be doing it again?”
“I think I already answered that. Now, if it's alright with you, I'm headed back to bed. I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow."
“Goodnight, Tom. And thank you.”
“You’re welcome,” I hear him whisper a few minutes before his gentle snoring fills my ears. He’s already asleep while I very much doubt I’ll sleep a wink after what happened tonight.
