Chapter 10

Autumn

Next week.

“I’m so excited,” I say, brushing my hair.

“Yes, it’s going to be fun. I’m glad that we’re having our birthday party at the Wicked Nights club because I didn’t want those stupid club whores around,” Wynter says, shaking her head.

“Yeah, I can’t stand them,” I say, grabbing my booties.

“I’m ready,” Wynter says, running her fingers through her hair.

“Yes, let’s go to the club,” I say, smiling.

“Blood will meet me there, because he had to do a run,” Wynter says, as we walk out of my room.

We get to the club, and the parking lot is full. We park at the back and get out. We enter the club through the back door.

We make our way to the club, walking down the hallway. We walk across the room and stop at the bar, smiling.

“War and Poison did a great job,” Wynter says, smiling.

“Yeah, I love it,” I say, nodding.

I turn around to get something to drink. I wave at the Bartender leaning on the bar countertop.

“What can I get you?” the Bartender asks, wiping behind the bar.

“Tequila bottle, shot glasses, and limes,” I say, smiling.

“One sec,” the Bartender says, nodding.

“So, we’re going to get drunk,” Wynter says, smiling.

“Hell yes! We have to celebrate,” I say, nodding.

I look around the club, yes, looking for Fiend. I chew my lower lip and pull out my cell phone from my cute cross-body purse. I slide my fingers over the screen and text.

Autumn ~ Where are you?

Fiend ~ I’m on my way.

Autumn ~ Awesome.

“Happy birthday,” War says, walking up to us.

He hugs us and kisses our cheeks. Poison does the same, swaying to the music.

“Happy birthday,” Poison yells, waving her hands above her.

“Thank you,” I say, laughing.

“Oh yeah! It’s my Birthday,” Wynter says, waving her arms.

I turn to the bartender to pour the tequila into the shot glasses. After he pours the tequila, I hand one to War, Poison, Wynter, and myself.

“To my beautiful sisters,” War yells, raising his arm.

“To Wynter and Autumn,” Poison says, raising her arm.

We click our shot glasses and drink it down. I take a lime and salt, I suck the lime, swaying to the music.

“Hell, what about us,” Vicious yells, walking over.

Death, Zero, and Scorpion are right behind him.

Our brothers hug and kiss us, wishing us a happy birthday.

“Yeah, another toast,” Zero says, filling up the shot glasses.

“Sisters, I’m so proud of you! Happy Birthday,” Zero says, raising his arm.

“Happy birthday,” my brothers yell.

We drink the shots, and I suck on the lime. I’m thrilled because this is going to be a wonderful birthday.

“Wynter, Autumn, I got you your birthday gifts,” War says, handing us each a box.

“Oh my, thank you,” I say, holding the gift box.

“Thank you,” Wynter says, smiling.

“Welcome! Open your gift,” War says, smiling.

“Okay,” I say, nodding.

I open my gift, and I look at my brother.

“A Glock,” I say, raising my brow.

“Oh yeah, I love it,” Wynter says, smiling.

“Yes, it’s so you always carry it. I want to know that you have something to defend yourself with. I taught you two how to shoot, so now you have your own guns. Times are hard, and our enemies keep threatening to take you two,” War says, resting his hands on his waist.

“Oh hell, why didn’t you tell us,” I hiss, lowering my eyelids.

“War, that’s not right,” Wynter says, shaking her head.

“Because you’re always with Brothers,” War says. “That’s why you can’t just take off at your whim. You need a guard wherever you go,” War says.

“Okay,” I say, nodding.

“Got it, but can you keep them in the office,” Wynter asks, handing him back the box.

“Yes, that’s a great idea,” War says, nodding.

War hands the boxes to Scorpion to put in the club’s office.

Both MCs are in the club celebrating our birthdays. War closed the club to civilians so that we could have fun.

Death walks over to the DJ and grabs the microphone. The music stops, and everyone turns to look at him. I see the Satan Warriors MC Princesses. Karla will be here later after she escapes her Papa.

“Brothers, it’s time to show some love! One, two, and three! Happy Birthday, Wynter and Autumn,” Death yells, smirking.

Zero takes the microphone and waves.

“Let’s do it! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday, dear Wynter and Autumn, Happy Birthday to you,” Zero sings.

The MC Brothers sing Happy Birthday to us. The Brothers yell, hoot, and laugh. The music starts up. War and Poison walk away to talk to Demon.

I see Fiend standing at the door with his Brothers, Killer, Shade, and Lethal.

Fiend looks at me, lifts his chin, and walks over. His Brothers follow him.

Wynter leans in and shoves her elbow into my side.

“Fiend is here,” Wynter says, smiling.

“Yes, now I have to figure out how to sneak out without anyone noticing,” I say, drinking the shot.

“I’ll cover you,” Wynter says, nodding.

“Thanks.”

“Happy Birthday,” Fiend says, hugging me. “I love you.”

“Happy Birthday, Wynter,” Fiend says, smiling.

“Happy birthday,” Shade, Lethal, and Killer say, lifting their chin.

“Where’s your Old Lady Lethal,” Wynter says.

“Cherry is in the bathroom with Pixie,” Lethal says, smiling.

“I want to toast you two,” Fiend says, smiling.

He hands us a shot, and we toast. I drink the shot and grab another lime.

We talk, drink, and laugh. The party is going strong, and everyone is having a great time. I dance with the girls. Fiend drinks beer and continues to look at me.

I walk over to get another beer, looking at Fiend. I stop next to Fiend and smile.

He turns, leaning against the bar countertop.

“Baby girl, we need to get gone. I want to spend the rest of the night with you, celebrating your Birthday,” Fiend says, smiling.

“Yes, but we have to be careful,” I say, taking the beer.

“Yeah, you’re right,” Fiend says, nodding. “Baby, you look beautiful.”

“Thank you! Josh, you look hot, and I want to tell our brothers. We can’t be sneaking around,” I say, pushing my hair from my face.

“I agree, we will talk to them soon,” Fiend says, nodding.

“What are we waiting for? Are you not sure?” I ask, turning to look at him.

“Baby girl, just give me a few days. I’ll tell Demon, and then we can talk to war,” Fiend says, taking my hand.

He rubs his thumb over my knuckle, gazing into my eyes.

“Remember, I love you,” Fiend says..

“I love you too,” I say, nodding.
