Chapter 12
Twelve
Autumn
Autumn ~ Are you okay?
“Fuck!”
Oh fuck!
I was supposed to see him last night. It’s been a couple of days since I’ve seen him.
I’m so damn worried.
He didn’t call me.
Didn’t text me.
And hasn’t responded.
Where the hell is he?
Is he ghosting me?
Fiend always, always responds to my messages.
This pisses me off.
Did I completely misjudge him?
Is he just like all the motherfuckers!
I stare at my cell, waiting for his text.
I was going to tell him last night, but what the fuck am I going to do now?
I push off my bed, walk to the bathroom, and throw up. I sit back against the wall, closing my eyes.
This is not fun.
I want Fiend here with me.
It’s his baby.
I push off the floor and take off my clothes. I turn on the shower, step inside, and soap up.
I grab my crossbody purse because I have to be ready to leave if Fiend calls.
I walk out of my room, down the hallway to the main clubhouse.
I stop at the entrance, I look around the main clubhouse, and thank fuck the club whores are still sleeping.
I damn clubhouse stinks, beer, and fucking sex.
I cover my mouth and nose, trying to stop the nausea.
Some Brothers are still playing pool and drinking.
Okay, I have to do this.
War and Poison are sitting at the bar talking. I slide onto the barstool next to War, leaning my arm on the counter, crossing my legs. I start swinging my leg, trying to control my nerves.
I look at Spook, the prospect who’s attending the bar tonight.
He walks over, lifting his chin, and rests his hands on the counter behind the bar.
“What can I get you, Princess,” Spook asks, looking at me.
Spook is fucking blushing; I know that he’s attracted to me.
“Please, get me a water bottle,” I say, smiling at him.
Spook nods, turns, and walks down the bar to grab me the water bottle from the refrigerator. He returns, placing the water bottle in front of me.
“Here you go,” Spook says.
“Thanks,” I say, taking the water bottle.
I look at War talking to his Old Lady Poison. She’s Fiend’s sister, and I wonder if she knows.
Technically, War is only my brother, not my Dad.
So, what the fuck.
But he is the Prez, what he says goes.
After a few minutes, War turns around, smiling at me.
“Well, Princess, how are you today,” War asks, taking a pull of his beer.
“Could you send Prospect to do something else,” I ask, looking at him.
“Prospect, go wash the bikes,” War says.
Prospect nods and walks away. I take a drink of water and place the water bottle on the countertop.
“Princess, what’s up?” War asks.
“I’m pregnant,” I say in a low tone, leaning in closer to my brother, the Prez.
I look at War choke on the beer that he’s drinking, slamming the beer bottle on the bar countertop, pushing off the stool.
Well hell!
He was asking what’s wrong with me all fucking week.
“What did you say,” War asks, glaring at me, resting his hands on his hips.
“I’m pregnant,” I whisper, feeling the fucking heat spread through my face.
This is fucking embarrassing.
What’s the big deal?
He can calm the fuck down.
It’s not like I’m a child.
He’s going to drop dead when he learns that Wynter is pregnant.
I can’t wait to see this.
That’s going to be epic!
Surprise.
Fuckintastic!
“What in the hell do you mean you’re fucking pregnant,” War yells, raising his hands, throwing back his head.
He starts pacing around the clubhouse, looking at the Brothers.
I chew my lip because I know that none of the MC Brothers is the father. Not one of his Brothers ever touched me.
Fiend is my baby’s daddy.
I haven’t talked to him in a few days.
I’m confused.
I’m scared.
It looks like Fiend is ghosting me.
Why?
I’m not sure now if Fiend is going to ghost me.
I never dreamed that he would not man up.
“Calm down, Baby,” Poison says, walking over to him, grabbing his arm.
“What do you mean? Calm down! My baby sister is pregnant, and who the fuck knows which fucking Brother had the balls to touch the MC Princess,” War yells, rubbing his neck.
“It’s not a Wicked Warrior’s baby, War,” I hiss, shaking my head.
“Fuck! Then who the hell is the motherfucker that knocked you up,” War growls, waving his hand.
“War, could you stop yelling,” Poison says, crossing her arms.
My eyes tear up, and I close my eyes. I wipe off my face and straighten my back. I knew what I was doing when I slept with him. I was aware of the risk I was taking.
It just hurts.
“Fucking hell,” War yells, rubbing his temple.
“Babe, let’s go to your office,” Poison says, looking around the clubhouse.
The fucking club whores are walking out of their fucking room.
“Fuck,” War growls, flipping his hands in the air. “Autumn, let’s go to the office.”
War takes Poison's hand and walks away. I follow them.
We walk into War’s office, and I take a seat in front of his desk. Poison closes the door, and she sits next to me. I cross my arms because it’s a huge deal.
“Autumn, I know that you’re a grown woman, but this is not easy. I don’t want you to get hurt because some fucker talked sweet shit,” War growls.
“It’s not that way. I know that he cares,” I say, not ready to say the word love.
But it is love, I know it.
I just want to talk to Josh, tell him first before I tell anyone else.
Fuck!
This is messed up. I want to tell Josh first that we’re having a baby. The fucker knows that he never used a condom, so it can’t be a fucking surprise.
Where fuck is he?
“Autumn, tell us who’s your baby’s daddy,” Poison says, looking at me.
I can’t help but blush because it’s embarrassing, it's his sister, geeze.
“It’s Fiend,” I say, looking at her.
Poison’s eyes widen, and her color drains from her face.
“Fiend is the baby’s daddy,” Poison says, clasping her hands.
She looks at War, shaking her head.
“Don’t you fucking think about beating his ass,” Poison hisses, lowering her eyelids. “Nobody beat your ass for touching me.”
“Fuck! That’s different,” War growls, gathering his brow.
“It’s not,” I say, shaking my head.
“Is that right? Where the fuck is he? I step up, so where the fuck is he,” War growls, fisting his hand.
“I don’t know,” I whispered. “I was supposed to see him last night, but he never called.”
My eyes tear up, and I blink to clear them. I don’t need War getting pissed off.
“I’m going to call my brother, because I’ve texted him, but he hasn’t responded,” Poison says, pulling out her cell phone.
She moves her fingers over the screen and makes the call.
Poison chews her lip as she makes the call, looking at us.
“Demon, is Fiend there,” Poison asks, looking at us.
“Oh my god, is he okay,” Poison yells, closing her eyes.
My heart stops, my gut knots up, and I gasp. Poison rubs my back, looking at me.
“Okay, we’re coming over because War wants to talk to you two,” Poison says.
Poison slides her cell phone into her pocket.
“Let’s go talk to them. Fiend is awake; he was hurt in the run,” Poison says, nodding.
“Oh my, he’s okay,” I ask, blinking my eyes.
“Yes, he’s alive, but he was hurt and out,” Poison says, crossing her arms.
“Fuck! Let’s go,” War says, nodding.
War drives his cage, and I stare out the window, chewing my lip. I can’t believe that Fiend is hurt, and I was doubting him.
I’m glad that I told War because now it’s out. I know that Fiend wants me, and everything will be okay.
It takes a few minutes to get to the Satan Warriors MC clubhouse. War drives up the drive and parks. I stare at the clubhouse, my stomach in knots, and my heart pounding fast.
I hope that Fiend will recover from his injuries. I need to tell him about the baby. I need to see him.
I push open the car door and close it. We walk to the clubhouse. The club whores are fucking the Brothers, and the music is loud.
Demon walks up to us, staring at War.
“War,” Demon says, lifting his chin.
“Demon! What the fuck happened! We need to talk,” War growls.
“I understand, let’s go to my office,” Demon says, nodding.
“I need to see Fiend,” I say, not caring about MC politics.
Stupid fuckers.
“Poison, take her to Slash,” Demon says, nodding.
“Right,” Poison says, nodding. “Autumn, follow me.”
I don’t respond, my throat feels closed, and I blink my eyes to clear the tears.
Poison takes my arm, and we walk towards the secured area. We walk through the door, down the hall towards the end.
Poison looks at me and knocks.
“Come in,” a voice says.
“That’s Slash, the MC’s doctor,” Poison says.
Poison opens the door, and we walk inside. It’s a large room with several other rooms, each with a bed. It appears that the main room is where Slash tends to the Brothers. The other rooms must be where they recover.
“Poison,” Slash says, lifting his chin.
“Where’s Fiend,” Poison asks.
“He’s in the last room, but he’s resting,” Slash says, nodding.
“Can we see him,” Poison asks.
“Yeah, but he looks awful, but he’s going to recover. He broke an arm, has a mild concussion, two broken ribs, and I removed the bullet in his thigh,” Slash says, nodding.
“Oh wow,” I say, covering my mouth.
“Don’t worry, he looks worse than he is. He is hurting, but he will be okay,” Slash says, smiling.
“I need to see him,” I say, wide-eyed.
“Go and see him. I’ll wait for you,” Poison says, nodding.
“Thanks,” I say, in a low voice.
I walk towards the room with heavy legs, my gut in knots, and a heavy heart. I’m so scared, and I need to believe that, Slash, Josh is going to be okay. I stop at the door, close my eyes, and walk inside.
I walk inside the room and stop next to him. I take his hand and kiss it. I stare at his face, relaxed in sleep. He looks younger, softer than when he’s awake. The hard edges are gone, but he’s beautiful, still a badass, sexy biker.
Tears roll down my cheeks, and I wipe them. I can’t believe that I almost lost him, and I didn’t even know it. I stand next to the bed, holding his hand.
A while later, Slash walks into the room. He takes his vitals and looks at me.
“Let me get you a chair so you can relax,” Slash says.
“Thank you,” I say, nodding.
I want to climb into the bed, but I’m afraid of hurting him. I bite my lower lip to stop from crying. I wipe my tears.
I’m so tired, I lean my head on the edge of the bed, holding onto his hand, falling asleep.
“Baby.”
Fiend is calling me. I smile and shift.
Ahh, I’m sore.
I open my eyes and stare into Fiend’s beautiful green eyes. His eyes roam my face, gathering his brows.
“Baby, you’re finally awake. Are you okay,” Fiend asks.
“Oh my god! Josh, you scared me,” I say, pushing off the chair. “No, I’m not okay. I’m so worried.”
“Baby girl, I’m good. Just a little beat up. No worries,” Fiend says, smiling.
“Yeah, I know that now. It was awful not hearing from you for two days! I didn’t know what happened. I told War and Poison,” I say, biting my lip.
“What did you tell them? What did war say?”
I can feel the blush flow up my neck and throughout my face. I stare at him, gazing into his eyes.
“Baby, what did you tell him,” Fiend asks, raising his brow.
“I told him, I’m sorry. I wanted to tell you first, but I was so worried, and I needed his help to find out where you were,” I say, licking my lip.
“Baby girl, what did you tell War,” Fiend asks, raising his brows.
“Joshua, I’m pregnant,” I say, biting my lower lip.
“Are you serious,” Fiend asks, gathering his brows.
“Yes.”
“Oh fuck! I’m going to be a daddy. Fuck,” Fiend says, smiling.
“Are you happy about the baby,” I ask, blinking to clear the tears.
“Hell yes! I didn’t wear a fucking condom, and I knew what I was doing. I wanted you from the moment that I saw you. I wanted to knock you up because you’re mine, always and forever.”
“Oh my god! I was so worried and scared!”
“Baby girl, I love you with my entire soul.”
“Joshua, I love you too!”
