After I pulled off from Ava’s, my driver took me straight to my house.

The entire ride, my mind stayed on her. I found myself replaying every single moment spent with her.

The smell of her perfume lingered the entire way, and the scent of her pussy juice seemed to be embedded into the pores in my fingers.

I wasn’t used to thinking about a woman this much.

I was used to crossing paths with a woman and immediately having my way.

With Ava, for some reason, I wasn’t on that type of time.

To be honest, I fucked with the fact that she’d been trying to keep shit professional.

Do I like being in the friend zone? Hell nah, but after tonight, I knew I wouldn’t be for long.

I didn’t give a damn about any of that shit she was talking about before she hopped out of my ride.

By the time we pulled into my driveway, I was annoyed with myself.

My dick needed attention but was only in the mood to entertain one specific body.

I had to meet up with Duke and Ace to go over a few things.

I opted out of changing my clothes, but I came in to grab the keys to my Maserati.

A strange feeling came over me as I stood in place, listening to the quietness in my home.

I felt as if someone was close by, but I wasn’t too sure.

I pulled my gun and slowly walked around, checking every room. Once I got to my room door, I heard something on the other side. Using the barrel, I slowly pushed my door open, ready to shoot whoever was in my shit.

“Finally, you made it back. I’ve been waiting for you.” Carla moaned.

I sighed heavily and lowered my gun. This crazy bitch lay in my bed with her legs spread eagle. The vibrating dildo slid in and out of her pussy as she played with her clit.

“You got a death wish showing up in my house unannounced.” I eyed her.

“You wouldn’t shoot me.” She smirked.

I chuckled because it was obvious that she didn’t know me well.

“Keep testing me and let’s see how that plays out.”

“You look irritated.” She giggled. “You’re usually happy to see me when I pop up unannounced.”

The sight before me automatically turned me on, causing the front of my pants to tighten. I stood there for a moment and watched her play with herself. She knew exactly what she was doing because I knew I told her ass we were done.

“Come fuck me, EJ. Please, I need to feel you inside me.”

“Nah. Keep going and rub your clit a little faster,” I instructed.

Flashbacks of my fingers swirling in Ava’s pussy invaded my mind. The feel of her smooth, chocolate skin and succulent lips had me hypnotized. For a split second, Carla had actually morphed into Ava. That girl had my mind so gone I actually thought she was in my bed.

“I’m about to cum, EJ! Mhmmm, can I cum, please?”

“Go ahead.” My voice was raspy.

On command, Carla squirted on my sheets as her body shook.

“Mhmm, papi, that was good.” She smiled. “But I need you to give me something better.” She crawled to the edge of the bed.

Just as I got ready to pull my dick out for her to suck, my phone rang.

“Yo yo?” I answered.

“Nigga, where the fuck you at?” It was Ace

“I just got back to the crib. I’m switching cars, I’m on the way.” I checked the time.

“Aight, bet.” The line disconnected.

“Change my sheets, and you better be gone by the time I get back. I meant what I said Carla. The next time I come home and you’re in my shit, I’ma shoot your ass for trespassing.”

Behind me, I could hear her popping off, cussin’ my ass out in Spanish.

She could have a tantrum all she wanted, but she knew I mean business.

Carla was entitled, I had her spoiled as fuck.

When I say spoiled, I mean, I’d kept her around longer than any other female I’ve fucked on outside of my baby momma.

Carla wasn’t my girl, she was my pet. When I tell the bitch to jump, she’ll immediately ask how high.

The only time she started acting like a brat was when my baby momma came into play.

Carla wanted me all to herself but that shit would never happen.

Not even thirty minutes later, I pulled into the warehouse. Duke and Ace’s cars were already parked out front, so I knew they were inside waiting for me.

“Damn, nigga, about time.” Duke spoke first.

“Aye, I told y’all I had prior engagements to tend to. I had a great night.” I rubbed my hands together with a smirk. “Then I got home and Carla's crazy ass was laid up in my bed, butt ass naked.”

“Nigga, you got us waiting around for your ass while you knee deep in some pussy?” Ace smacked his lips. “I knew you weren’t cutting her nutty ass off. I bet ten G’s that bitch put some kinda roots on your ass too,” he added.

“Yeah, I wish the fuck she would do some crazy shit like that. Her ass will be floating down a river. But check this.” I had to change the subject.

“I have some properties I’m looking into for investments, and working on a plan for us to clean all our money a little faster.

So, y’all continue to hold shit down on this side of business.

The dice is about to be rolling soon, so y’all need to be ready to level up.

If everything is done correctly, the transition should be smooth as butta. ”

“No doubt,” Duke slapped hands with me.

“Let’s get this shit poppin’ then.” Ace followed right behind.

“So, what about the meeting with Donnel?” Duke asked.

“Shit, I forgot about that.” I rubbed my face.

“Awe hell nah, since when did you start forgettin’ shit?” Ace looked at me sideways.

“Since he started sniffin’ around some new pussy.” Duke chuckled.

“New pussy? What this nigga talkin about?” Ace raised his eyebrow.

“He ain’t talkin about shit.” I shook my head.

“The hell I am. That girl you've been workin’ with is starting to throw you off your game. I bet that’s why your ass was late tonight.”

“Nigga, you just became chief executive. You couldn’t wait ninety days before you started fuckin’ your staff?” Ace laughed.

“Man, fuck yall.” I chuckled. “Don’t worry about me fuckin my staff and don’t worry about Donnel.

I’ll meet up with him and make sure we’re still on the same page.

Listen, shit needs to keep moving steady.

The boys need to stay in place and keep pushing this weight.

The money doesn’t need to stop flowing. Keep that shit rollin’ in as usual. ”

“You don’t have to worry about that.” Duke dapped me up.

My day has been hectic. From the boring ass meetings at the bank, a meeting with my real estate agent, plus Zoie’s dance competition.

I had been running around all damn day, and still had one more meeting to go.

It was pushing eleven o’clock at night when I pulled up to the shipping yard to meet Donnel.

For the past six years, that was the spot we’d link at in private.

Nobody came down there unless they had business.

Donnel and his crew were already parked and standing outside of their blacked out Escalade’s.

As I hopped off my bike, I watched one of his guys come toward me as I removed my helmet.

It didn’t matter how long and how well we knew each other, Donnel always made sure I was patted down for precaution.

“EJ.” He clasped his hands together.

“Donnel, what’s up.”

We shook hands and respectfully embraced each other.

Donnel was in his mid fifties, dark skinned dude, with salt and pepper hair lined and trimmed to perfection.

The way he dressed and carried himself, he could easily be mistaken for a high profile politician; rather than a man overseeing one of the largest narcotics pipelines on the East Coast.

“So, what’s going on?” He stood with his hands clasped behind his back.

“I have a problem.”

“With me?” He lifted an eyebrow.

“Nah, it’s more like I have a problem with your communication.”

He stood quietly, staring at me for several seconds.

“I’ve had three shipments this month where your crew changed routes without notifying my people.”

He frowned before swiping the tip of his nose with his thumb.

“They still got delivered.”

“Yea, but that’s not the point. I had my crew sittin’ at the original locations for hours. That’s not how we do business.”

He continued to stay silent, but I needed him to speak. I said what I had to say.

“One of my younger coordinators made a few last minute executive decisions. I’ve already handled him. You’ll have no more issues moving forward. That’s my word.” He patted his chest.

I nodded in agreement while contemplating on what I was getting ready to say next.

“One more thing. Moving forward, Duke will now be handling all meetings scheduled.”

“I’m not understanding, why is that?” He frowned.

“I have other business ventures that require my attention right now.”

Donnel folded his arms with a smirk on his face.

“You bowing out.”

“Nah, but when that time comes, you’ll be one of the first to know.”

We shook hands in agreement.
