Fire to the Stars

It’s been five days since the meteorite fell, and the subject has calmed significantly. He has taken notice of the owl constellation. My dismembering experiments bring little struggle; he won’t stop staring at those stars.

This raises two questions:

Is Diu’s consciousness present in these dragons?

Will a dragon attack signs of Noctu before it attacks a closer human target?

Nothing in the archives suggests that a dragon’s motivation amounts to more than destruction. Yet for all his current lack of human intelligence, it is as if he instinctively understands that Noctu is the real enemy.
