Chapter 16

APRIL

I didn’t know what to expect from Fool’s latest surprise.

When we left the clubhouse, I thought maybe we were heading back to my apartment.

Never did I think he’d take me to the middle of nowhere.

It’s not a terrible place to be. It’s beautiful out.

The stars are shining in the sky, and I can see the Little Dipper shining brightly among the other constellations.

Fool parks right in front of a dimly lit house that looks welcoming. In the darkness, you can’t make out much of the house, except that it’s a two-story, farm-style home.

I have so many questions running through my head as Fool turns off his bike and helps me slip off the back, just as he’d done both times earlier in the day.

Once I clear enough space, he joins me and reaches up to remove my helmet, one he bought solely for me, as he told me today.

The very one he’d given me to wear the first time he put me on his bike.

I never thought to ask him about it until we were leaving for the courthouse this morning.

It's sweet and made my insides melt all the more, though I wish he’d wear a helmet as he’s supposed to.

Everything Fool has done to make this day special keeps me falling for him more and more.

“Come on, sweets,” he says, dropping the helmet onto the seat and taking my hand in his.

“Is this your house?” I ask.

“Yeah, but I really haven’t stayed in it over the years, pretty much just crash at the clubhouse,” he tells me as he walks us up the handful of steps to the front door, where he unlocks it and pushes it open.

Before I can take a step inside, Fool lifts me into his arms and carries me over the threshold, straight into an empty house, save for the soft glow of electric candles and flower petals scattered on the floor, leading to what looks like a living room, but there’s no furniture to be found anywhere.

Only blankets stacked in the middle of the room.

Fool sets me on my feet and turns me to face him. My eyes meet his, seeing the indecision swirling in his gaze. “If you don’t want to stay here tonight, we can go, but I just wanted somewhere to be alone with no interruptions. I know we’ll have that here.”

“Here’s perfect,” I tell him, lifting myself on my tiptoes to kiss him.

Fool’s hands slide around my waist, drawing me closer as our lips meet. The kiss deepens, and I melt against him, feeling his warmth through his leather cut. My fingers tangle in his short, thick, dark hair, and I lose myself in the moment, forgetting everything but the man holding me.

When we finally break apart, I’m breathless. Fool’s eyes are dark with desire, and I can feel his heart racing against my chest.

“Beck,” I whisper, more in plea than in question, unsure how to ask for what I want.

“Right here, baby,” he says, walking me backward. “I’ve got you. You trust me?”

“Yes,” I don’t even have to think about it to know I trust him. From the first moment I met him, I knew he was someone I could trust.

Fool’s fingers find the zipper of my dress and drag it down. The cool air kisses my skin as the fabric parts, revealing the lace of my bra, which falls to the floor around my feet. His eyes darken as he takes in the sight of me, and a shiver runs down my spine.

“You’re beautiful,” he murmurs, his voice husky. His fingers trace my collarbone, leaving trails of fire in their wake. ”So fucking beautiful.”

I reach for the buttons of his black dress shirt, one I know he wore today because of me, not his usual tees.

My fingers tremble as I unbutton it. Beneath the fabric, his chest is solid and warm, and I feel the steady beat of his heart against my palm.

I slide the shirt over his shoulders as I take in the tattoos on display.

The one on his neck had entranced me, but I hadn’t seen the rest of it until now.

I’d seen the ones on his arms, but never the rest of him. He’s beautiful in every way.

Fool leads me to the blankets, lowering me gently onto them. The petals scattered around us release a sweet fragrance as we move. I look up at him, feeling vulnerable yet safe in his presence.

“I want this to be special for you,” he says, his hand gently caressing my cheek. “You deserve everything.”

“Just you,” I whisper, drawing him down to me. “All I want is you. That’s what makes it special.”

Fool closes his eyes and rests his forehead against mine as he lets out a ragged breath.

“April,” he whispers, his voice thick with emotion. “You don’t know what you do to me. How many times since meeting you have I thought about seeing you just like this? How many times have I wanted to spread you out, fuck you, love you, do everything I can to your body . . .”

He trails off as his lips find mine again, gentle at first, then with growing hunger. I arch into him, feeling the weight of his body against mine as he settles onto the blankets beside me. His hands explore my skin with reverence, each touch sending sparks of electricity through me.

When he reaches for the clasp of my bra, I hold my breath as anticipation builds. With skilled fingers, he unclasps it, then removes it completely. I feel the cool air against my newly exposed skin. Fool’s eyes darken as he takes in the sight of me, and a blush spreads across my cheeks.

“Don’t be shy,” he murmurs, his thumb tracing circles along my hip. “You’re perfect. So damn fucking perfect.”

I suck in a breath as his mouth follows the path his hands have taken, trailing kisses down my neck, across my collarbone, and lower.

I gasp as his lips find my breast, my fingers fisting in his hair, holding him to me as waves of pleasure crash through my body.

The sensation is overwhelming, and I feel myself arching into him, desperate for more.

“Beck,” I gasp.

“I’ve got you, baby. I’m going to make you feel so damn good,” Fool murmurs, blowing on one of my pebbled nipples, causing me to shiver. The sensation sends jolts of electricity straight to my core. I feel myself getting wetter with each touch, each kiss, each whispered word.

His mouth moves lower, trailing fervent kisses down my stomach as his fingers hook into the waistband of my panties. I lift my hips, helping him slide them down my legs. The cool air against my sensitive skin makes me shiver, but Fool’s warm hands quickly drive the chill away.

“Look at you,” he whispers, his voice rough with desire. “So fucking beautiful.”

I should feel exposed, vulnerable, lying naked before him, but I only feel beautiful under his hungry gaze.

He stands to remove the rest of his clothes, and I watch as he reveals more of his tattooed skin.

The artwork doesn’t just cover his chest. It also covers his hips, which tell stories I long to hear him tell me.

When he’s finally naked, I can’t help but stare at his body—the muscles, the ink, the thick, long cock jutting out in front of him.

Fool returns to the blankets, his weight pressing me down as his body covers mine. His mouth reclaiming mine. His long fingers gliding along my body, down between my thighs where I need him most.

I moan into his mouth as he pushes a thick finger inside me.

“Gotta get you ready for me, sweets. Don’t want to hurt you.

Not your first time, at least,” Fool whispers against my lips.

His finger moves inside me in slow, deliberate strokes, and I clench around him.

The sensation is foreign but not unwelcome.

I gasp as he adds a second finger, gently stretching me.

“Relax, baby,” he murmurs. “Just feel. Take what I give you and feel how good it is. Imagine how it’ll feel once I’ve got you ready to take my cock.” He adds a third finger to the first two and lowers himself, peppering kisses along the way, settling in between my legs.

I gasp as Fool’s tongue replaces his fingers, licking and tasting me with a hunger that makes my toes curl into the blankets. The sensation is overwhelming—nothing like I imagined. His mouth works magic on my most intimate place, and I feel myself climbing toward something I’ve never experienced.

“Beck, please,” I moan, my fingers tangling in his hair. “I need you.”

He looks up at me, his eyes dark with desire. “Not yet, sweets. I want you to come first on my tongue.”

His words send a shiver through me. I feel myself tighten, the pressure building as his tongue circles that sensitive spot. My back arches off the blankets, and I cry out as the first wave of pleasure crashes through me. He doesn’t stop, drawing out my orgasm until I’m trembling beneath him.

When I finally collapse back onto the blankets, breathless and spent, Fool rises above me. His mouth glistens with the evidence of my orgasm. He doesn’t wipe it away as he comes over me, claiming my mouth.

I open for him without thinking and taste myself on his tongue, moaning at the intimacy of it all.

“Ready for me now?” Fool whispers against my lips, his voice rough with need. I feel the heat of his body, the weight of him pressing me into the blankets.

“Yes,” I breathe, my voice barely audible even to me. My heart pounds so hard I’m certain he must feel it against his chest.

“Are you on the pill?” he asks. The head of his cock glides through my slickness.

“Yes.” I nod.

“You good with me going bare? I’ve never fucked without one, but I don’t want any barriers between us.”

“Please, Beck,” I say, shifting my hips in response.

Fool slips between us, positioning himself at my entrance. I gasp as I feel him there, thick and hot against my sensitive flesh. He captures my lips in a kiss as he begins to push forward, slowly, so slowly that I feel every inch of him stretching me.

“Look at me,” he says softly as I close my eyes against the sensation. I force them open, meeting his dark gaze. “That’s it. Stay with me.”

The slight burn gives way to pleasure as he sinks deeper, breaking through the barrier, taking what’s now his, filling me completely. For a moment, neither of us move. I feel him throbbing inside me, feel the restraint in his body as he holds still, giving me time to adjust to his size.

“Okay?” he whispers. His voice is strained from the effort of not moving.

I nod silently, unable to speak. The intensity is overwhelming, yet not painful. I wrap my legs around his waist, pulling him closer, and he groans into my neck.

“Fuck, sweets,” he breathes, moving in slow, deliberate strokes that make me see stars. Each thrust sends waves of pleasure through my body, building on what he’d already given me with his mouth.

I move with him, learning the rhythm of our bodies. His hands grip my hips, guiding me, showing me how to take him deeper. The sensation is unlike anything I’ve ever felt—intimate, primal, perfect.

“You feel so fucking good,” Fool murmurs against my skin. “Tight and wet around me.”

His words send heat flooding through me. I feel myself tighten around him, and Fool groans, his rhythm faltering for a moment.

“Fuck, that’s it,” he whispers, his voice rough against my ear. “Come for me again, baby.”

His hand slides between our bodies, finding that sensitive spot he worshipped with his mouth earlier. When his thumb circles it in time with his thrusts, I feel myself climbing again, the pressure building at my core.

“Beck,” I gasp, my nails digging into his shoulders as pleasure spirals through me. “I’m—”

“I know, sweets. Let go,” he encourages, his pace quickening.

The orgasm crashes over me like a wave, stealing my breath and making me cry out his name. I clench around him, pulling him deeper as he continues to move through my release.

“Fuck, April,” Fool groans, his movements growing erratic. “You’re going to make me—”

He buries his face in my neck, his thrusts jerking once, twice, before he spills inside me with a guttural moan that vibrates against my skin. The warmth of his release fills me, and I hold him close as we both shudder through the aftermath.

For several moments, we remain locked together, our breathing gradually slowing. Fool’s weight presses me into the blankets, but I welcome it, running my fingers through his hair as he plants soft kisses along my collarbone.

“You okay?” he asks, lifting his head to meet my gaze.

“Perfect.” I smile up at him, tears shimmering in my eyes and blurring my vision. Nothing has ever felt so special to me. No one has ever made me feel the way this man does.

Fool’s thumb brushes away a tear that slips down my temple. “Don’t cry, baby. Was I too rough?”

I shake my head, unable to explain the depth of emotion that’s overwhelming me. “No, it was perfect. Just . . . no one’s ever made me feel like this before.”

“Thank you for the gift of you.” He kisses me softly, then rolls to his side, taking me with him so we remain connected. The blankets beneath us are soft against my back, and the flower petals release their sweet fragrance as we shift.

“I meant what I said earlier,” Fool whispers, his hand tracing patterns along my hip. “You deserve everything.”

I snuggle closer, feeling his heartbeat slow against my chest. The intimacy of the moment is one I never want to forget.
