My wife got herself off in my shower last night.
That has been my primary thought since I stepped into the shower after she’d gone to bed. When I’d found her little vibrator sitting on my soap dish, my half chub had gone to full erection in a single breath. I’d no sooner seen the small hot pink vibe than I’d fisted my cock. It hadn’t taken me long to be spraying cum all over the shower floor, swallowing Temple’s name.
I’d decided, then and there, that I was going to do whatever it took to convince Temple to give us a chance. We were good together. Judging from our kisses, we will set the bed on fire when I finally claim her. And now I know for sure that she isn’t unaffected by me. She wants me too.
Maybe it’ll piss my sister off if I’m married—for real—to her best friend, but at this point, I’m too far gone to give a shit. If I’m not already in love with Temple, it’s only a matter of time before I am.
Our drive to Houston has been relatively drama free, which is saying something considering interstate traffic in Texas is always congested. We’ve kept ourselves occupied by discussing the dog sanctuary and playing “name that tune the fastest” on the oldies station. She’s totally beating me, but only because I’m more focused on her than I am on the songs.
Neither one of us can actually sing. Our kids will likely be tone-deaf, but they’ll probably be smart.
Our kids. Yeah, I may have already wifed her up, but I’m definitely keeping Temple.
Now, as I maneuver my truck up the wide circular driveway of her family’s sprawling estate, I’m more than ready to prove to her stupid cousin that I’m here to stay.
“We’re here,” Temple says as I put the truck in park.
“We are. You okay?”
“Yeah. Just always a little unsure of how things will be with Grandma on any given day. I get updates during the day from her caregivers, but I still feel guilty I’m not doing more.”
“Did you get a nursing degree when I wasn’t looking?” I ask. I lean towards her and grip the back of her neck, giving her a squeeze. “You are doing everything right. It’s because of you she’s still here in her home, correct?”
“Yes. Rick suggested moving her into a care facility even before her memory got really bad.”
“Exactly.” I search her pretty face, those big guileless eyes of hers. “We’ve got this.” I close the distance between us and give her a quick kiss.
