“I think you’re pretty remarkable too,” I tell him.
“Will it be too cliched for me to tell you how much I love you right after you gave me the best blow job of my life?”
My heart pounds. “I don’t know. Is it a truth or a lie?”
His brown eyes search my face, his expression softens. “The absolute truth. I love you, Temple Harrington.”
I am helpless against the smile that overtakes my face. “Does that mean you want me to officially change my name to take yours?”
“I don’t actually care what other people call you, as long as I can call you mine.”
I nod. “Always. I’ve always been yours, Flynn.”
“You asked me, the other day, how you could thank me for always being your hero?”
“I did.”
“I have an answer for you,” he says.
“Anything,” I tell him. “I’ll do anything for you.”
“Be my wife forever. Have my babies. Grow old with me.”
“Yes!” I kiss him and he holds me against his chest. “Does that mean you’ll let me call you Piglet’s daddy?”
He leans away from me and gives me a funny look.
“I saw your expression at the festival when I said it. You didn’t look too happy,” I say.
“I wasn’t unhappy. It turned me on. The thought of being a daddy with you. Then I thought of getting you pregnant, having a baby with you. I was just aroused at all of those thoughts.”
That makes me laugh. “So you do want kids?”
“I want anything and everything, as long as you’re the one by my side.”
“Right now, I want you to take me back inside and make love to me again,” I say.
“You don’t have to ask me twice.”
“I love you, Flynn,” I say. “In case it wasn’t obvious already.”
“So I guess this is what stupid in love looks like,” he says.
“Yeah. I guess so.”
