Chapter 8

“Aye, bitch. Watch your mouth before I bat you in it.” Kaleo pointed at one of his friends and the room laughed. “Don’t move your head, baby.” He tilted my head back and to the left and I let my eyes shut while he started to blade and shape my eyebrows.

“Baby,” one of the men echoed him.

Kaleo snickered a little bit but kept working.

I’d had one bad experience with someone cutting my eyebrows too thin and hadn’t gotten them professionally done since, but they were looking horrible and if I trusted anyone at this point, it was Kaleo.

We’d spent another night together and when I’d complained about them while we were getting ready for bed he’d told me to come to the shop whenever I wanted and he would hook them up for me.

He took his time working on one then the other.

“Alright. Take a look.”

I slowly opened my eyes and looked at my reflection. I turned my head one way then the other.

“I didn’t want to make it too thin so let me know if you want it a little thinner and I’ll do it.”

“No. It looks nice.”

“You sure?”

“Yep.” I nodded.

“Alright. Cool.”

Kaleo leaned down and kissed the side of my head.

“You need anything else, shawty?”

“No sir.”

Kaleo wagged his eyebrows up and down at me in the reflection. I winked at him. He grinned.

“When you stop making heart eyes at your girlfriend, your next appointment is here,” someone snickered.

“Don’t worry about my calendar.” He spoke to them without ever taking his eyes off me. “They can wait a few minutes anyway.”

“It’s okay. I’m done. Seriously.” I climbed up.

“Alright.”

He grabbed me by my hips and pulled me in.

I blinked up at him. His friends had been giving him a little bit of a hard time about the two of us so I was partially shocked about the public display of affection but honestly, I liked it too.

It was nice being shown off. It was nice being interested in someone who was loud about his attraction, even if nothing between us was official.

He leaned in and we kissed softly.

“Alright then, Kaleo,” JV cheered.

The shop started laughing and he made a face but didn’t comment. He just kissed me again and smacked me lightly on my ass.

“What are you getting into today?”

“Just the gym and some cleaning and cooking.”

“You gon’ be home when I get home?”

I did my best to stop myself from grinning like an idiot.

“Do you want me to be at your house when you get home?”

“Always.”

“Then, I’ll be there.”

“Alright. I’ll see you when I get off.” He kissed me one last time. “Be careful.”

“Will do.” I grabbed up my purse. “What do I owe you?”

“Novemeber, get yo’ lil ass out of my shop,” he grumbled.

“You enjoy this little ass.” I rolled my eyes and spun around to head out.

“I love it actually.” Kaleo hit me on the ass. Hard.

I giggled but waved him off. He wolf whistled after me.

“Have a great day, guys,” I addressed the room then headed out.

I spent the day doing exactly what I’d said I would. I went back to Allur’s spot and deep cleaned all the shared spaces and the room she’d given me. I’d spent the last seven nights with Kaleo, but I wasn’t going to take Allur for granted. When I finished, I cooked and cleaned the kitchen.

I packed up some of the leftovers and took them with me back to Kaleo’s as well as a new bag of clothes. At Kaleo’s I cleaned his kitchen and did both of our laundry. Then, I took a long hot bubble bath and hung out on the couch afterwards.

I damn near met him at the door when he got home. A huge smile took over his face and he grabbed me by the hips as soon as he was close enough. My arms immediately went around his neck and I tiptoed a little bit to press our mouths together.

“I got us tickets to the basketball game in three nights. Don’t make plans, alright?”

“Mhm.” I nodded.

His hands dropped from my waist to my ass. He plucked me up. I wrapped my legs around his body. We sprinkled kisses all over each other’s faces while Kaleo carried me to his bedroom. He tossed me on the bed and I bounced slightly while he started to pull his shirt off by the neck.

I fumbled with my t-shirt and athletic shorts while he stripped in front of me

I opened my arms toward him. He climbed into the bed and toward me.

His hands went to the inside of my thighs.

He pushed them apart and groaned at the sight.

There had been a time when being the focal point of his attention like this would have made me self conscious, but I didn’t have that issue with Kaleo. I always felt like he was attracted to.

He let his hands trail from my thighs to my ankles and back up before he lifted my legs and leaned down. He got to work immediately, licking and sucking my clit until I came on his face. My legs tightened around him and I gripped the sheets.

He kissed the inside of my thighs and up my body from my pelvis up the middle of my chest and to my throat.

He nipped me there lightly then ran his tongue over the space.

Then, he sat back on his heels and held his hands out to me.

I slid my fingers through his. He linked them together and pulled me right on to his lap.

He rested his hands on my back while we tongued each other down.

“I missed you all day,” I mumbled against his mouth.

“I’ve missed you all day too, baby.”

Kaleo reached down between us and grabbed his dick. He stroked it two short times. I adjusted how I was positioned in his lap. He lined himself up with my entrance and caught my lips with his while I worked myself onto his dick.

I planted my feet on the bed on either side of him and started to ride him, switching between bouncing up and down and grinding on him over and over again until I came in a short burst and paused.

My body convulsed and I buried my face into his shoulder.

He grabbed my ass and started to move me up and down himself, using my body to get him there.

He came inside of me with a groan. Then, he tucked my head beneath his and just rubbed my back while we caught our breath.

After our breathing balanced out, Kaleo kissed along my face and I kissed his throat, jaw and upper chest before we slowly pulled ourselves apart.

Kaleo climbed up then leaned over, grabbed my ankle and dragged me over.

I yelped as I went and giggled when I got to the end.

He grabbed my hands, yanked me into a sitting position then hoisted me up further so he could pluck me up.

I nuzzled my face in his neck while he carried me to the shower.

We washed ourselves back to back. I grinned when I felt Kaleo’s hands slide around my waist. He leaned into me.

“How was your day?” His hands slid up to my shoulders and he started to massage them.

“It was good.” I leaned back to look at him. “How was your day after I left? Did the guys keep bullying you about me?”

“Yeah, but I’m cool with that. I actually kind of like it.”

“Your friends making jokes at your expense?”

“My friends knowing what you are to me.” He kissed my forehead. “What do you want to eat tonight, shawty?”

“I cooked.”

“What?”

“Yeah. I already cooked. There’s food for you already plated and in the microwave.”

“Have I told you, you’re an angel?”

“Not enough,” I deadpanned.

“Well, I promise to correct that.”

“Good.”

Kaleo climbed out of the shower and I rinsed myself off. When I threw the shower curtain open, he was standing there with a towel to dry me off.

I opened my mouth then shut it before I did something stupid like blurt out that I loved this man after knowing him for a few months, but fuck, I knew without a doubt I would love to spend days like this with Kaleo for the rest of my life.

Kaleo left work early on the day of the basketball game and we made the two hour drive out to the state’s main stadium.

I wasn’t a big fan of professional sports, but I was excited to do something with Kale that he liked doing and I was down to try anything at least once or twice.

I’d done some research so that I wasn’t completely lost. I’d looked up the rules, the names for different positions and the two teams that were playing tonight so I could see if it would be a fun game or some kind of rivalry between the teams or players.

I looked over at Kaleo. He was driving with one hand, the other resting beneath his chin.

I had a burning desire to reach over and kiss him.

I set my hand on his leg instead. I looked out the window and my eyebrows knitted together when I realized we weren’t at the stadium or even close to it.

I checked the time on my phone. The game was set to start in thirty minutes.

I didn’t even think about saying that though.

I knew Kaleo knew what time the game was.

If we’d gotten lost or were having parking issues there was no reason to bring that to his attention as if he didn’t know.

I didn’t want to stress him further than he already was.

I looked back down at my phone and responded to a text message that Allur had sent to me. I kept my head down and in my phone until I felt the car slowing down. When I looked up, I was sure the confusion I felt was plastered all over my face.

The stadium wasn’t even in view. Instead I was looking at a dark lake. I looked over at Kaleo who already had his eyes focused on me.

He didn’t utter a word. He just cut the engine, hopped out and walked around the car to open the door for me. He offered me a hand. I looked around again before I took it. I let him help me out.

“This isn’t a basketball game, Kaleo,” I said.

He grinned. “I know.”

He twined our fingers together and started to lead me through the grass and to the sidewalk.

We’d only gone a few yards when I saw the gazebo out in the middle of the water.

It was lit up beautifully with a dining set up already there and two men, one with a waiter outfit on and one holding an instrument. They both smiled as we got closer.

I squeezed Kaleo’s hand.

“What are you doing?”
