You all said Skarnir was ridding the Wilds of prey, but given the amount of fresh kills carried home over the last week, I’m guessing he had the dragons herd the animals away from your reach.
Could the vampyrs not be as evil as you paint them out to be?
Though admittedly, even if they aren’t, it doesn’t change the fact that Taeric needs me dead. Unless I can earn my magic back and undo his curse? Is that a possibility? If only someone knew whether my runes were retrievable.
By the way, even if you hadn’t asked Mor to keep me here, my release of Kjell has cooled down her ardor to sail us to Ljosam?r, mainly because your father is now full-on Team Zas.
I suppose that if I revealed Ulf was the one to poison me, she’d be back on her mission to get me away from the North, but your father’s attempt on my life is a secret I’ll take to Asgard.
