Chapter 28
CHAPTER
TWENTY-EIGHT
“You son of a bitch! Fucking asshole!”
Sabrina fought the bonds, cussing and screaming as Specs methodically cut the clothes from her body. No way would she make it easier for him to rape her. Her movements meant that the knife occasionally made contact with her skin, leaving red streaks behind.
“Cocksucker!”
He backhanded her across her face, and she saw stars as her head whipped to the side.
“Shut the fuck up, bitch!”
She spat blood out. “You get your jollies from abusing women? Is that how you get off?”
“I said shut up!” Foam splattered from his mouth, hitting her cheeks.
Ugh, gross! “No!”
“Just cut her throat and be done with it,” Billy groaned from the couch. “I need another pill.”
“I just gave you one,” Specs snapped at him. “That was the last of them.”
“I need it!”
“Fuck off!” Specs picked up something else and threw it at his brother. Sabrina couldn’t tell what it was, but apparently it hurt, as Billy yelped.
She stilled for a moment as the two men squabbled.
The longer they argued and the longer she held out, perhaps there was a chance Cam or one of the Knights would find her before it happened.
She’d screamed about how she was being raped, but in a place like this, no one paid any attention.
Maybe she should start yelling “fire” or “police” or something more meaningful.
When she opened her mouth to shout again, he punched her in the face several times.
“Do you ever listen? Shut. The. Fuck. Up!”
Her nose broke with a crunch, and her vision blurred with the strikes. Damn, that one hurt. Breathing became harder to do as blood trickled down her throat and her eyes started to swell. No doubt the mortician would have to work some fancy makeup magic to make her presentable for the funeral.
She could barely make out Specs’s fuzzy image as he lowered his jeans and grabbed his dick, trying to rub it to life.
“Can’t ged id up, you fuckin’ loser?” If she was going to die, she’d fight like hell until the end.
“How the hell does Cam put up with you?” the small man growled as he pulled at the limp little sausage.
“He’z a man. A real man.”
That was the last straw for Specs. He picked up his belt and whipped her across her belly and thighs. “Goddamn cunt! Don’t know when to keep your fucking mouth shut!”
Sabrina screamed in pain. Welts appeared with each blow. More work for the mortician, she reasoned.
Finally, the beating stopped as Specs ran out of steam. He straddled her body, and she tried weakly to toss him off. He looped the belt around her throat and slowly tightened it, cutting off her airway.
Whatever fight she had left in her disappeared fast. Her arms and legs twitched uselessly as he choked her, the leather cutting into her skin as he pulled harder and harder. Her eyeballs felt like they were about to burst from her skull, and her pulse pounded in her ears.
This is it. I’m done. Cam, I love you. I wish I’d told you more often. Heal and move on, baby.
The belt suddenly relaxed and the weight on top of her eased as Specs climbed off her and scuttled to the door, jerking his pants up as he moved. She gasped for what air she could as he pressed his ear against the wood.
“What’s happening?” Billy questioned.
“I don’t—”
He suddenly fell back as someone forced the door open and a figure that looked a lot like Wolf filled the frame. A furious Wolf.
Sabrina lost her limited sight of the two men and had a hard time making out what the sounds were, but if she guessed right, Specs was getting the shit beaten out of him. Stalemate’s form came to her side and cut through the ropes that held her.
“Shit. Cam’s gonna freakin’ go off.”
“Get her out of here.”
“Where’s Cam?”
“On the way.”
Various voices surrounded her as her arms and legs were released. The stretching of her joints for so long made it hard for her to move them. Stalemate slipped an arm under her knees and head to lift her when she heard Cam shouting for her.
“Sabrina! Fuck, can you hear me, baby?”
“Ayah,” she croaked.
His face appeared in front of hers. Even with her bad eyes, she could see him. He looked wonderful.
“Hospital. Now.” That one sounded like Wolf.
“Was she raped?”
“Don’t think so.”
Sabrina tried to swallow and then rasped, “He didn’t make it. Couldn’t get his mini-wiener hard.”
A wave of heat blew from Cam, intense enough that she felt it over her entire body.
“If I have my way, he won’t have to worry about ever getting hard again.”
Wolf intervened. “I know you want blood, but trust me and get your woman to the ER, brother. I promise we got this.”
“Wolf,” Cam gritted out, the word carrying rivers of fury and mountains of frustration.
Sabrina sensed his need for vengeance as a tangible emotion. She coughed and made another effort to speak and be understood. “Cam, I think I need a doctor.”
“Fuck!” exploded from Cam’s mouth. “You let those motherfuckers know this isn’t over.”
The leader of the Knights inclined his head. “You have my word.”
Cam moved to lift her, but Crossman got there first. “Let me. You’ll fuck up your arm again.”
“You’re killin’ me, man.”
Crossman inclined his head. “I know, but I’m also protecting you.”
Sabrina held her breath against the pain as she was lifted and cradled against the biker’s chest. If her eyes had worked better, she would have seen Specs and Billy trussed up on the floor. She sought Cam’s hazy figure as an adrenaline crash got closer.
“Love you,” she grated out. “Just wanted you to remember that.”
“Love you, too, babe.”
After Cam and Crossman made their way outside to the waiting car, Stalemate regarded Specs and his brother lying on the floor. Both men were bound with zip ties and gags and sported bloody, bruised faces. “Do we call Denny or clean this up ourselves?”
Wolf faced the younger man, and a silent message passed between them. The Iron City Knights’ president had ice-cold murder in his eyes. He could kill the two men and not be bothered at all. He raised an eyebrow as if asking a question.
The large man shrugged and clicked his teeth. “I can get rid of the bodies with no traces left to find.”
Wolf nodded. “I promised Cam his time. He’s gotta take care of his woman now. And we’re gonna take care of him.”
