Chapter 4
LOLA
Willa and I found a quiet corner in Benson’s apartment where we continued to stalk those four strippers. There were detailed descriptions of each of the men, with a picture below to not only see who they are, but also what they looked like.
I scrolled past Kline’s description which we had already read. Next up was Watson. He had been the one with the dark blue eyes and intense stare. I pursed my lips and looked at Willa. “Also hot.”
“Very. Let’s read about Watson.”
I looked back at the screen and read the short description aloud.
We found out that Watson was forty-four, and that he was the second to join the dance crew. Just like Kline, he had been dancing for most his life, not professionally, though. He used to be a lawyer, but he quit his high-end job to show off his moves.
And his looks.
Watson didn’t look as rough as Kline, yet, he was just as handsome. The picture underneath his introduction showed him sitting on a leather couch, with his legs apart, and one arm resting across the back of the couch.
He was naked, but he was covering his crotch with a football. He used to play in college, and I guessed all of them used something that was connected to what they liked to cover up their junk.
Watson had light brown, shoulder-long hair, and his beard was slightly shorter than Kline’s. His hair framed his face perfectly, and thick eyebrows, and dark lashes made those blue eyes seem darker than they were.
“Two down, two more to go,” Willa said, urging me to keep scrolling.
Next up was Bennett. The one who hadn’t spoken to me in the elevator. He had the same intense stare in the picture, and it sent shivers down my spine. There wasn’t much about him in his description, but it said that he was thirty-nine, and that he used to own a dance company where he taught kids and teens.
He had that mysterious look in his brown eyes, and the ink all over his upper body and arms enhanced that darkness about him. The only thing that made his appearance light up a little was his blond, neck-long hair. He had it tied back into a low bun, and his beard had the same color.
He was standing next to a pile of books in the picture, and he was holding one in front of his crotch, covering what I imagined was a magnificent cock.
“Dear God,” I murmured.
“He’s so mysterious. I like Bennett.”
“Yeah, same.”
Even if Willa kept complimenting and drooling over these guys, I knew she would never make a move. She didn’t like older guys, and she wasn’t looking for just a good time either. Also, for some reason, I had already called dibs on all of them, and she would respect that, just like I would respect it if the roles were reversed.
“Last one!” she urged, nudging my side with her elbow.
I scrolled on, and lastly, there was Leo.
“Edgy,” I said with a smirk as I admired his blond hair. It wasn’t short, but long enough to be tucked behind his ears. It was slicked back with gel in the picture, leaving one single strand falling over his face, which out of all of them, looked the naughtiest.
He had a mischievous grin, and the most piercing, icy blue eyes I had ever seen. His body was covered in black ink, but there was always about two or three inches of space between each tattoo. It made his look even more interesting, but what caught my attention the most was the large steak he was holding by the bone in front of his crotch.
I admired the picture for a little longer before reading his description.
“Leo is thirty-two, loves to cook, and he’s a true barbeque master,” I read aloud.
“Therefore, the steak,” Willa pointed out.
“Mh-hmm.” I pursed my lips and finished reading the rest, finding out that Leo was also into surfing and snowboarding, and that he was a native Australian.
“He used to be a lifeguard too,” I said, liking this guy more and more by just his description. Well, his picture was great too, and I knew I would find myself lying on bed at night, looking at more pictures of the four.
“So, which one are you going to go for?” Willa asked.
I looked at her, finding her question rather offensive. “ Which one ?”
She furrowed her brows before realization hit. “Oh! Oh, God…Lola, you can’t—” She laughed and waved her hand. “Actually, you can. And I know you will. I just need updates whenever you get a step closer to them, okay?”
I chuckled. “I will definitely keep you updated. Actually, the first update comes right now.” I wiped my thumb across the screen and tapped on a few things before landing on the show dates. “We’re going to watch a show.”
“For real?” Willa was always up for things like that. We liked to go to concerts and parties, and whenever there was something new in town, we liked to attend just to see if we’d like it or not.
“Yes. Oh, look, they have a show next Friday at nine.”
“Where is it?”
“At The Hot Spot. It says it’s a bar downtown. I’ve never heard of it.”
“Me neither. We should still go.”
I nodded and clicked on the link that took me to the ticket shop. There were still tickets available, but before I bought two, I read the information below. It said that the shows the Four of Hearts put on were only for women, and that you had to be twenty-one or older to attend.
Luckily, Willa and I were twenty-four already, and we were more than ready to see those men dance.
“Twenty bucks for a strip show…that’s not expensive at all,” Willa said, impressed by the low pricing.
“We’ll definitely get more for that price.”
I was sure of that.
Once the tickets were in my possession, I couldn’t stop thinking about anything else for the rest of the night.
