Chapter 26
LOLA
Leo parked the car in the parking lot of my apartment building, and when I got out, I noticed that my car was dirty. Not that I went to clean it weekly or anything, but there were stains all over it.
“What is that?” I walked closer to my car until I realized that there were eggs all over the side of my car. “What the hell…”
“Holy shit.” Leo stopped next to me. “Who the fuck did that?”
“I would like to know too,” I murmured.
“Are there security cameras around here?”
I shrugged, still in disbelief of what I was seeing. “I don’t think so. God…who would do something like this?”
“Do you have enemies?” Leo asked with a smirk, trying to lighten the mood.
I sighed and crossed my arms over my chest. “None that I know of.”
He put an arm around my shoulders and pulled me to his side, kissing the top of my head. “We’ll get your car cleaned. It was probably just a bored kid thinking this is funny.”
I leaned into him and took a deep breath to stay calm. “Okay. Let’s head upstairs. I desperately need a shower.”
Once we were in my apartment, I realized that none of the guys had been here before. I stopped and turned to Leo as he took in the space. “Do you like it?” I asked. I was proud of my apartment and the way I furnished and decorated it.
“This might become my new favorite hang-out spot if you ever invite us over for a movie night,” he told me, smiling at me. “You have great taste, Lola.”
“Thank you!” I turned back around to walk into my bedroom. “Give me a minute. Make yourself at home!”
“Will do,” I heard him say.
Since I wasn’t going to wash my hair, I pulled it back into a slick bun, and after taking a quick shower, I headed into my room to get dressed. I chose to wear a white pair of flared sweatpants, and a black top with thin straps. I grabbed a light quarter zip sweatshirt for later and left my room to find Leo sitting on my couch.
“I’m ready.”
He turned his head and smiled at me as his eyes wandered down my body. “Is there a day you don’t look beautiful?”
I pursed my lips and shrugged. “Not really.”
He laughed and got up to walk over to me. “I figured. Bennett called. He said Kline had to head to the bar to get some paperwork done and Watson went with him so they won’t be home when we get back. I told him about your car being egged, and us having to go wash it, and that we’ll be back a bit later too.”
He placed both his hands on my hips and pulled me to him, and I lifted my arms to wrap them around his neck. “Did he say he needed anything else than tea?”
“Yes. He wants honey too.”
“We can get that for him.” I kissed him, smiling against his lips.
He slid his hands down to my ass, squeezing it gently as I pressed more against his body.
I could get used to spending time with each of them individually. It seemed like a good idea too.
After breaking the kiss, I leaned back to look up at him. “Did he say anything about my car getting egged?”
“Actually, yes. He sounded pissed, and he said he’ll make sure to find out who did it.”
I grinned. “That’s kinda hot. But I don’t want you guys to worry about it. It’s just eggs. My car isn’t broken.”
“No, but it’s still not a nice thing to do.”
“Of course, it’s not. But I don’t have the energy to go on a hunt just to tell someone that egging another person’s car isn’t nice.”
Leo chuckled. “Fair enough. But we have the energy for that. Let us handle it.” He pressed another kiss to my lips before stepping away. “Come on, let’s get that car washed and then get groceries.”

Once we got the groceries, I drove my now clean car back to my apartment. We switched to Leo’s car from there, so we wouldn’t have to drive separately.
We got back to their place, and as I helped Leo get all the grocery bags out of the car, I saw Benson come out of the building. I smiled at him and waved, happy to see him again after a long while.
“Hey,” he greeted, grinning at me as he walked toward us. “Damn, are you dating this guy now?”
I pursed my lips, amused that he called Leo this guy. But I didn’t get a chance to tell Benson his name.
“Actually, she’s dating all four of us.”
Benson laughed, but when he saw how serious Leo was, his face fell. “What?”
I bit the inside of my cheeks, trying my best to hide a grin. Benson was in disbelief.
“No way. How? I mean, shit…that’s kinda hot.”
Leo chuckled as he closed the trunk, holding two bags in his arms. “You have no idea. I’m Leo, by the way.”
“Yeah, sorry. I’m not good with names. I’m Benson.”
“I remember.”
Benson nodded, and after studying Leo for a moment, he looked at me again. “I’m throwing a party tonight. I’m headed to grab snacks and alcohol. You’re invited, of course.”
“Thank you, I might come say hi later.”
Benson nodded and looked at Leo again. “You can come too, of course.”
“I have to work, but thanks.”
“Okay. Well, uh…I guess I’ll see you around.”
“We will.” I waved at him, and as he left, I followed Leo inside. “Maybe we can grab a drink at his place when you’re back from The Hot Spot.”
“Fuck, no.”
“What, why?” I frowned at him as we stood in the elevator.
“Because I won’t see you in the crowd tonight, and when I get home, I’ll want to spend time with you and the guys. No one else.”
I watched him as his face grew more determined, and when his eyes met mine, he raised a brow at me. “What? From now on, my free time is spent with you. Deal with it.”
I laughed and rolled my eyes at his possessiveness. But I couldn’t deny it. I wanted the same. “Fine. If you really want that.”
We entered the apartment, and we headed upstairs to put the groceries down. I didn’t expect Bennett to be sitting on the couch, but he was, and I was glad to see him looking a bit better.
“Hi, how are you feeling?” I asked, walking over to him.
He had paused the movie he was watching, and he turned toward me when I sat next to him. Smiling, I rubbed his upper arm with my hand.
“I’m feeling better. But I’m also pissed at whoever egged your car.”
My smile tightened and I took his hand and squeezed it gently in my lap. “Don’t worry about that. We went to get it washed and it looks brand new now. To be honest, I think whoever threw eggs on my car just wanted me to know that my car needed to be cleaned because it looked so dirty.” I laughed to lighten the mood, but Ben didn’t find it funny at all.
“I’ll find out who did it.”
Fine.
I didn’t want to argue.
“Okay. Are you hungry?”
He nodded. “A little.”
“Good. Because I’m cooking tonight, and I really hope you’ll eat what I make.”
“You’re cooking? How did you convince Leo to let you cook?” Ben said with a grin.
“She didn’t have to convince me. She simply told me that she wanted to cook, and so I’ll let her. No way I’ll argue with this woman,” Leo stated, grinning from ear to ear.
I laughed softly and got back up. “If you keep saying things like that, you’ll make me believe that I’m some kind of royalty.”
Leo looked at me and blinked, his eyes wide. “You are. You’re a damn queen. No, you’re Goddess.”
“Stop crawling up her ass, man. You’ll scare her away,” Ben argued, sounding annoyed but amused.
There was no way I would run from them.
I had no reason to, and I’d be stupid if I ever tried.
It sounded ridiculous, seeing as it hadn’t been too long since I first met them, but I had found my home.
My men.
