9. Mateo
CHAPTER 9
MATEO
“Sup, bro? Come here often?”
I looked up from the bench to see Evan, smiling down at me. “That line work on all the boys?”
“About half the time,” Evan answered. “Need a spotter? You should’ve texted.”
“I woke up from a nap an hour ago, man. I don’t know what time it is.”
Together we went through most of my upper body and ab routines, to the point where I’d be the perfect amount of tightness later. I knew enough not to overwork myself, especially after last night. It was a nice surprise having Evan show up but I could tell something was on his mind. He was distracted, unable to pull weights he had an easy time with a few weeks ago.
“Everything okay, man?”
“You all done? I can walk you back to the house,” Evan suggested.
I nodded. “Sure.”
It was sunny and I was still amped from the workout, so I just threw my hoodie over my shoulder.
“You remember Jenna? ”
“Ugh, unfortunately.” Jenna was Evan’s ex-girlfriend.
“Well, you know how she was kind of bossy.”
That was a nice way of putting it. “She was a heinous bi-”
“Trust me, I see that now. But I think there was a part of me that liked her in control. If that makes sense.”
“Please tell me you’re not getting back together with her.”
“No, no, no. Definitely not! I…just…do you know anyone that’s gay?”
Okay…that’s a ninety degree turn. “Um, they’re not out to the world or anything, but I know a few gay guys.”
“And?”
“I’m not sure what you’re asking.”
“Oh. I guess, are you cool with it? Does anyone else seem to care?”
I shrugged. “Like I said, they’re not out to a lot of people, but I don’t mind at all. I don’t think anyone would really. It’s Middleton.”
“Even sports bros? Like the soccer team?”
How could I be so dense? He was trying to tell me he was…non-heterosexual, it seemed.
“I don’t think anyone on the team would have a problem, and if they did, I would tell them to fuck off.” I put my arm around his shoulders for reassurance.
“Cool.”
We were almost to the frat. “Anything you want to talk about?”
Evan laughed but it sounded almost forced. I didn’t want him to say anything before he was ready, so I stopped short of the steps to the back porch.
“Look, you’re my team husband and my best friend on the team. I’ll always have your back, and if anyone were to ever hurt you, they’d have a big problem to deal with.”
Evan laughed again, but it sounded more like him, which made me feel better. “Yeah, what are you gonna do? You weigh like a hundred and seventy pounds.”
“Hey! I can bench two-twenty!” I made a move to tackle him to the ground, but he dodged and pushed me down first, before landing on top of me.
He stayed that way for a few seconds, looking down at me. I met his stare, and didn’t make a move to get up.
“Thanks for the conversation,” he said, breaking the silence and offering me his hand.
“I meant what I said.” I wanted to say so much more but I didn’t have a twenty year history with him like I did with Zach. I only felt I could say so much. “Text me if you need something. I’ll come running.”
“Will do, bro. Later.”
I glanced up at our tower. The windows were open, and I could’ve sworn I saw Zach a moment ago.
I knew he was likely in the tower, so I didn’t announce myself or anything entering our room. I did walk over to the bottom of the stairs just to say hello, but he was talking to someone. I couldn’t help but hear them.
“Why are you here, Jake?”
Jake? Who the fuck was Jake?
“ I can’t tell you that. ”
“What can you tell me?”
I thought about taking a shower. After all, this wasn’t any of my business. I didn’t even know who Jake was, though the voice sounded familiar. I wondered if someone was up there with him or if it was a phone call.
“ Why haven’t you gone for it yet, Zach? ”
“What do you mean?”
“ With Teo. ”
Any chance of me leaving had just disappeared. How did Jake know so much about me and Zach?
“He’s not gay, Jake.”
“ Are you so sure? You saw him with Evan just now. They were rolling on top of each other. ”
I knew Zach was watching! Wait. Is that what it looked like we were doing? I kind of wanted to yell Evan and I were just friends but I kept my mouth shut.
“I-I don’t know. He’s my best friend. Of course I love him, but I would never let my feelings jeopardize our friendship.”
Feelings?
I listened for another minute, but didn’t hear anything else. I couldn’t help the smile that formed as I crept over to my bed, tossed my sweaty clothes in the hamper, and headed to the bathroom for a shower.
Zach had feelings for me and that made me feel better than I thought it would.
I lost track of time in the shower.
The hot water just felt too good on my muscles. I squirted some body wash into my hand and made a beeline for my cock. I hadn’t cum in a few days and my balls were starting to remind me.
It didn’t take long for me to get completely worked up. Fully hard, I was pumping my hand furiously. I was so close to liquidating my inventory.
“ Mateo! ”
I let go immediately, bringing my hand to my side, frozen, thinking Zach had caught me.
But no one was there. Not this again.
I tried to resume where I left off, but it felt like someone was watching me, and I couldn’t get into it. Grumbling to myself, I finished rinsing off .
“ Good boy. ”
Before, with the thongs, it seemed like an inner monologue, and then at the party, I thought it was the alcohol. But I was sober now and the voice was definitely in the room, and not just in my head.
I toweled off, wrapped it around my waist, and headed to the floor-to-ceiling mirror next to the sink. I tried a few different poses, pleased with the progress I had made this season, especially with my obliques. I dropped the towel and admired my quads as well.
“ Nice ass. ”
I turned, as if hypnotized, to check it out.
It was nice. Plump. Like a ripe peach.
The smooth skin, the curve of each cheek, the dimple in the middle of them. I traced the outline of my crack with a finger, then pressed into the crevice, trembling with the soft touch.
Every time I flexed, I had something new to stare at. Despite the hair on my arms, chest and stomach, my ass was hairless. Two smooth and tan globes of muscle.
I bent over and looked between my legs.
“ Spread your cheeks. ”
I reached behind me and pulled my cheeks apart with both hands. I smiled – this is fucking weird – but was soon distracted by my silky pink hole. I thought about brushing a finger against it but didn’t.
Whoa.
Something touched it before I could and I jumped forward, practically falling on my face. I caught myself before crashing into the floor, grabbed my towel, and hurried into our room. I needed to get dressed and see what Zach’s plans were for the night.
Despite the cooler air in our room, I felt warmth all over me, rolling in waves of light pressure. I really tried to focus on grabbing clothes from my dresser, but so far, all I had succeeded in tossing onto my bed was a thong. It was like someone was massaging my body in all the most sensitive places .
“Fuck!”
I felt my cock throb under the towel. My breathing had picked up and I was about to give up and abandon the thought of getting dressed. I ran my hands up my torso, pinching each nipple on the way, and made my way over to the bed.
Maybe I could at least put my thong on?
I thought I heard the metal noise of someone on the stairs, but just as I was about to open my eyes, my balls were tugged down hard, causing me to throw my head back. I felt the towel pulled away as I arched my body in response. It was like I was humping the air in front of me. I was so hot.
“Jesus Christ, Teo!”
Oh my God. My eyes snapped open and Zach was standing on the bottom step, staring at my cock, as I shamelessly displayed my entire naked body like a stripper.
“Eyes are up here, handsome.” Why the fuck did I say that? Grab the towel.
“What? You've got a nice dick.”
I didn’t really process what he said. I’d never been hard in front of him before. “Yeah…uh, erections are a healthy part of being a virile male.” The towel wouldn’t budge…it was caught on something under the bed, so I went for the thong and pulled it up my legs. I was rock hard now and shockingly, the tiny garment only fit everything if I shoved it in, pointing down, which meant it stuck straight out in front of me, hiding nothing.
So I sat down on the bed, leaned forward, and covered my lap and obvious erection with my arms.
“Having a good time?” Zach asked.
“Yeah, so what if I was?” This bastard wanted to play. “How’s your friend Jake?” I gestured up the stairs. “Having a good time?”
“Uhhh.” Zach shrugged. “Just…talking on the phone.”
Despite the embarrassing situation, I immediately felt better.
Zach hadn’t been alone in the tower with some dude.
