Epilogue
Arlowe
If my eyes roll any further, they’re going to get lost inside my skull.
“Keep talking like that, and I’ll kick you all out.”
Three heads perk up, confused faces looking at me. Gorgeous, delicious-smelling faces.
Bastards.
“I’m sorry, Arlowe.” Lucas frowns, runs a hand through his usually well-manicured blond hair. “It’s instinct.”
Instinct for a bunch of Alphaholes to turn into cavemen around their “fragile” Omega.
Yeah, no thanks, buddy.
“I am more than capable of taking care of myself.”
“No one here is arguing with that.” Rodrigo’s head tilts to look at me, those beautiful topaz eyes sparkling in the light. “Which is why you’re going on this recon mission alone.”
My eyes widen at this a second before Konstantin’s hulking form begins pacing in the back corner of this small hotel room and starts spitting in Russian. I don’t need to speak the language to know he’s cursing Rodrigo out.
Bold move to go toe-to-toe with the resistance leader.
But I am absolutely thrilled by this news.
Alone.
Away from these scrumptious idiots.
Separating myself from these men is exactly what I need.
I may not want to be around these guys, but I believe in what the rebellion is doing. Our people need to be free, allowed to live their lives in the open.
It’s going to be a rough road ahead, but I’m in it for the long haul.
Anything to make a better world for my little brother.
