My eyes are heavy as I watch the world fade before me.

Farrah faces her father, screaming at him. He screams back, but I can’t hear their words.

There’s a blinding light.

This must be it.

Death.

The afterlife.

I thought it would be more painful than this.

My entire body is numb.

The poison.

It’s happening too fast.

I thought my life would flash before my eyes.

Nothing.

Nothing but a bright light before darkness.
