Chapter 27 #3
“I missed you. I missed this.”
“Ditto.” He hissed before his pace increased.
He reached between us and began to rub my clit.
“You’re going to have to come soon, baby.
You feel too good and it’s been too long.
” For a second there his words concerned me.
I thought it was his inadvertent way to say I had taken too long to desire this and him.
I saw the truth in his eyes before he kissed me once more.
“I’m in no way complaining. As much as I love this.
I love you when you’re at your healthiest.”
Once again, I was unable to come up with a response or even think when he applied more pressure to my clit and grasped my hips closer, so he was even deeper.
I dug my heels into his rear and grinded against him.
He seemed to lose some of his control and began to withdraw nearly completely out of me before slamming back into me.
I got lost in our joining enjoying each thrust. Our kisses were sloppy, yet passionate.
I could feel the pressure building up in me. The tingling began deep down in my stomach. It was like a fire spreading throughout me. I closed my eyes feeling my impending orgasm. Finally. Finally, it slammed into me. I cried out his name as I was shattering around him.
“Fuck, you’re gonna milk me dry.” He groaned increasing the tempo of his thrust.
I tried to hold onto him tightly despite my desire to just melt onto the desk.
My limbs were shaky and felt like Jello.
I had forgot how great an amazing orgasm could feel.
Maybe in my anxiety following having the babies I should have been asking for orgasms. The dopamine levels spiking through my blood stream was one of the fantastic highs I could ever feel.
I heard him groan my name seconds before I felt him filling me up. In the silence of the room, I could hear our labored breathing. He gently kissed me continuously murmuring his words of love against my lips.
The silence was broken when the door was thrown open once more. Breanne’s voice proceeded her entrance to the room. “Hey, Jace, I can’t seem to find—oh!”
To say Breanne was gorgeous was an understatement.
If I had an older sister—I wasn’t counting Bridgette—I would imagine she would look a lot like Breanne.
Except Breanne was a good seven or eight inches taller than me.
She also had dark curls but seemed to be a lot more manageable and her green eyes had flecks of gold in them.
Her hourglass figure was also more toned and tighter compared to my post-baby physique. In short, she was stunning.
For a second jealously reared its ugly head once more. I didn’t like the idea of having such a gorgeous woman working so closely to my man. Then I remembered who Jace was and that he was still buried deep within me.
“Breanne!” He barked out. “What the fuck!”
He quickly withdrew from me and turned so he could tuck himself back into his pants while yanking my skirts back around my thighs.
Breanne face went from embarrassed to clear jealousy. “I thought you were busy.” She waspishly snapped. “Why the hell would you fuck her so closely to our food and how the hell did it end up here?”
For a brief second I felt some embarrassment about getting caught. Then it was followed by confusion. How the hell did she break my compulsion? My mortification and uncertainty were soon pursued by anger.
I decided I couldn’t pop off. It would just give her more ammunition to call me young and immature. I knew I had to hide my true feelings and handle her with the same disdain she treated me with earlier—even if she didn’t know of my presence.
Before Jace could speak, I did. “I’m Blake and you are—” before she could speak, I cut her off.
“Never mind. It doesn’t matter, but what does matter is that you think you can speak to my connection as if he’s one of your employees.
The last I checked the only two people he answers to is Pops and Paul and even then, they see him more as an equal than an underling. ”
“And you.” Jace interrupted me before pulling me into an embrace. I had to hide my satisfied smile, realizing he was showing a physical manifestation of how close we were. When his words sunk in, I lifted a brow in inquiry. “I answer to you too. My connection. The other piece of my heart.”
My heart melted at his words before I stood up on my tip toes to brush my lips across his. “I love you.”
“I love you too.” He smiled.
Breanne made a sound between anger and disgust. “You’re disgusting. You do realize Jace has more important things to do instead of—” she angrily waved her hand toward his desk.
I couldn’t help but laugh at her. I knew given the chance she would gladly bend over his desk and do what we had just been doing.
I clucked my tongue at her to say as much when Jace spoke.
“Breanne, this is the last time I’m going to say it.
Don’t demean or talk down at or about my connection.
I realize your community doesn’t regard connections as highly, but in mine we do, and I won’t stand for you disparaging my connection. ”
Breanne looked seconds away from spouting off before I heard the distinct cries of my son, seconds before Jaxson came into the room carrying him. Followed closely by Remy and Addison.
“What’s going on here?” Remy sternly inquired.
At the same time Jaxson smirked and walked toward me. He brushed a kiss across my lips before saying. “Hi, mama, everything okay here, or is Breanne causing you issues?”
I took Andy from him before walking over to Jace’s couch. “Not at all. I think she knows now that no matter what she thinks about me or our relationships, she has no place in Jace’s life, except as an—assistant—of sorts.”
Breanne made another noise of indignation before Remy cut her off. “We need privacy. Please leave, Breanne.”
“And I will appreciate if you don’t return to my office unless its business related and even then I would prefer an email if possible. I can’t have you disrespecting my relationship any longer.” Jace added.
Breanne turned red in the face and looked seconds away from a meltdown, but luckily, she was smart enough to hold her tongue. She sent me one more glare before storming off. Unfortunately, I didn’t think she would go away that easily. Sigh.
