RHETT
I’d won the challenge by a matter of seconds.
Seconds .
Fuck, I might never sleep again.
Or let go of the woman I was all but clinging to.
The speedboat carried us toward the same yacht Molly and Cameron had stayed in after that particular challenge in their season. I had Erin basically glued to my front while the boat crashed through the growing waves that accompanied the brewing storm.
A yacht didn’t seem like a great place to be during a tropical storm, but the Society would move us if it grew too dangerous.
Hopefully.
I let out a shaky breath and buried my nose in Erin’s hair, closing my eyes.
That had been close.
Too close.
I hoped to never see another fucking puzzle in my life.
