TWELVE #2
“Damn baby, you giving it to me,” he praised her.
She spun around, a trick that he’d taught her a while back and bent over and clasped her hands around his ankles. She used his limbs for support and she danced on his dick. If Jio could get to his jeans, he would’ve made it rain on her ass.
She was getting to it and this was what he’d been feenin’ for.
Nina’s moans matched his strokes. He knew what spots to aim for to get her croonin’.
“You feel so good, oh my God!” she squealed.
“Cum on daddy dick!” he demanded with a smack on her ass.
Nina had already came twice since she’d climbed on top but he had the power to keep the hydrant from running dry.
The night unfolded in ways that she’d only ever read about in those books that she had to hide from her mama while growing up.
She couldn’t recall the last time she hadn’t woken up alone.
Nino, her dog and personal companion, didn’t always count.
She hated to discredit her pup because Lord knows there had been plenty of long days where she would cuddle him in her arms until she fell asleep.
Nina didn’t know where she would be without her dog, but he wasn’t Jiorgio Gotti.
Waking up with a heavy arm around her waist made her boring ass giddy on the inside.
Her cheek was pressed into the bend of his elbow and her leg was thrown across his.
They used to sleep like this when they first got together so there was a feeling of nostalgia present.
The smell of sex filled the room and it was mixed in with his cologne and marijuana.
She loved the janky combo and inhaled it deeply.
If she could stay in bed all day today, she would.
Nina didn’t want to go to work or home but she had business to handle.
His bedroom was pitch dark but she was positive that she hadn’t woken up in the middle of the night.
Through a slit in the curtains, she could tell that it was around the time when the city hadn’t woken all the way up but the early morning darkness would be fading soon.
New York didn’t sleep. Although Jio stayed in the skies, she knew that traffic was already lining up, and horns were probably being blown by angry working people who had to punch the clock.
Bagels were being toasted, and black coffee in cheap Styrofoam cups was being handed across counters.
Nina knew she’d missed her weekly 5 am prayer call.
Around that time, she had her pussy on Jio’s face and she quickly took a rain check on worshipping this early.
She prayed that God forgave her. She blinked slowly, hoping that it would help her gain her bearings.
Last night was just what she needed. Sex with Jio was like an adrenaline boost. She felt like she could conquer the world with more might than the day before.
He had a way of making her feel like she was the most important person in his life and she surely fell for it every time.
Jio was skilled in bed and because of that she had no desire to ever experience lovemaking with any other man.
She didn’t think they would please her anyway…
not like he did. Last night was not a blur.
She wouldn’t dare dismiss how everything unfolded.
From the club to his penthouse. From the foyer where he had his way with her for the first time in over a year, to the balcony chairs where she rode him until her legs begged her to take a break.
He took her from outside to inside on the dining room table, to the shower, to the island in his walk-in closet where her clothes were still on hangers.
Whatever he’d been frustrated about left his mind after he got inside of his love.
She could tell that she’d brought him peace in the same way that he did to her.
Jio was sleeping so good. He was snoring louder than she’d ever heard him do.
He took his time with her. Every few strokes, he would stop to tell her, “Don’t you ever keep my pussy away from me. ”
She swore that it wouldn’t happen again. With the thought of how he’d fucked his way back into her mind, body, and soul, her body warmed and her pussy was ready for more.
Nina felt juices coming down her legs and she murmured, “Oh no.”
She couldn’t control what lil’ mama did whenever Jiorgio Gotti was near and she didn’t regret a thing, although she knew that would’ve been easier to deal with. She could’ve accepted remorse, but feeling like a new bitch after a long night of making sweet love came with a whole different outlook.
Nina wasn’t scrambling out of bed quietly as she tried to locate her clothes to crawl out of the front door like a heathen.
Nah, she wasn’t about to go home and stand in the mirror scolding herself by saying, “You fuckin’ stupid bitch.
” Nope, that wasn’t happening. Shame wasn’t in her vocabulary this morning.
She wasn’t downplaying their night to a drunken mistake. She was a grown ass woman who did exactly what she wanted to do.
They probably did have a lot of unresolved shit to sort through, but they’d done it before and could do it again. Right?
So yeah, no regret. Just a sore pussy and a whole lot of peace. She closed her eyes once more. She had to get up soon though. Nina prayed this time though. When all else failed, God never did.
She was a firm believer that they both were good for any person trying to survive in this cold world…
but when you added God in between those weekly sessions, chains were broken and bad habits were erased.
Nina loved her therapist, but the credit was due to her Creator.
She’d lost count of how many times He’d wiped her tears and lifted her head in the most angelic of ways.
Nina grew up in church. She knew the Word and it was buried deep in her heart.
But knowing the Word, attending church, and seeking Him for yourself and not because you were forced to go as a child was a totally different experience.
Jio stirred behind her. The way his arm tightened around her waist, although he was good and knocked out, made her feel like his body recognized the possibility of her leaving his side soon. She needed to get up but she wasn’t ready just yet.
She prayed like she did every morning, but this one was a little different because she had a specific request and she had to pray in her head in case Jio woke up and wondered why she was talking to herself.
“God, send me a very clear sign so I can know if I’m where you want me to be in this season.
I don’t want to be outside of your will, Lord.
I pray that I don’t confuse your voice with my flesh.
Make it so clear and obvious for me, God, please. ”
“Stop thinking so loud,” he mumbled into her hair.
She froze. “I’m not thinking about nothing…” Did he hear her prayer? Was that the sign she’d been waiting on?
“You lying already and the day ain’t even started.”
Nina turned her head just enough to see his face.
His eyes were still closed. His beard was a little fuller than she remembered.
She smelled her juices on his face. The gray hair she’d noticed at the club was even more obvious up close.
A few strands at his temple. A little in his beard.
Time and maybe the stress of the streets was evident on his face, but he was still handsome as ever.
The thought made something pull tight in her chest. Nina was still in disbelief that a whole year had passed since they’d been this close. She kissed his cheeks, both of them. They’d just spent twelve long months acting as if whatever they’d built meant nothing.
She wanted to tell him how much she missed him, but instead she said, “You getting old… all this gray hair.”
Jio opened one eye. “You told me that last night.”
“I’m still processing it.”
“You like it.”
“I do.”
Nina rolled her eyes and attempted to sit up but he caught her by the waist and pulled her right back down like she weighed nothing.
“Jio.”
“Babe…” he cooed sweetly. She could tell by his voice that he wanted another dose of her.
“I have work.”
“Me too.” He wasn’t letting her leave his side.
“Because I have a job.”
“You own a company,” he corrected her.
“Exactly, which means I have more work.”
He kissed the back of her shoulder. “You can be late.”
“No, I cannot.”
“You the boss.”
“That’s why I can’t be late,” she said firmly. It was important that she remained her top priority. It was so fuckin’ easy to lose herself in the light of his presence. Nina couldn’t do that this time around. It would be an expensive mistake.
Jio made a sound like he disagreed with the entire concept of responsibility.
Nina hated how much she missed that about him too.
Jio did what he wanted to do, no one could tell him otherwise.
The world revolved around him and his schedule and not the other way around.
He had a wild way of making the most stressful things, in her opinion, sound logical, all because he had a way of speaking with enough confidence to assure her otherwise.
She tried again to get up and this time he let her, but not before his hand slid down her bare thigh.
“Don’t start,” she warned.
“What am I doing bookie?”
She wasn’t going back and forth with him.
Nina swung her legs over the side of the bed and quickly gathered that walking was going to require her to have functional legs. He’d stripped her of all her energy with all that fuckin’ they’d done for hours non-stop. She held onto the edge of the mattress and inhaled through her nose.
Behind her, Jio chuckled. “You need some help?”
“Don’t laugh at me.”
“I’m not.”
She shot him a look over her shoulder. “You did it on purpose.”
“I can’t control how you take this dick.”
