SIXTEEN
“YOUNG NIGGA BUT I GOT OLD CASH.” KODAK BLACK
The Gotti Estate smelled like lavender, fresh flowers, and weed.
She loved it though. Luggage filled the foyer and there was a short woman with a heavy Caribbean accent directing florists to go towards the ballroom.
To the right of her was another lady who Nina assumed was the wedding coordinator since she had a clipboard in hand and a headset that she whispered into every few seconds after looking down at her notes.
The house was flooded with children of all ages.
They happily darted in between adults. No one bothered to make them go sit their asses down somewhere.
The Marcelles would never. Nina instantly felt bad for her two nieces, who were already being groomed by their grandmother to be just as pompous as she was.
She prayed her future children were the perfect blend of her and Jio’s worlds.
It was time for another nap because this was the third or fourth thought that she’d had about children today.
What she understood was that no matter the tax bracket, in any family gathering she could always count on three things: someone was going to be in the kitchen cooking, one family member that had to laugh harder and louder than anyone else, and lastly…
there was always that one person that had to let everybody know all they’d done to pull the event together.
Lo and behold, Jio introduced her to all three of his family members that played those roles within the first ten minutes of them arriving.
The way that they all loved and doted on Jio was exactly how she expected it to be from The Gottis.
Hugs, kisses, and tons of questions. Everyone wanted his attention.
His name was being shouted from every direction.
They’d awaited his arrival. Jio was clearly everyone’s favorite and the golden child of the family.
She was greeted with all the love that she’d ever prayed for and it felt overwhelming but in a good way.
His family hugged her tight and kissed her cheeks so many times that she lost count.
She’d never had the chance to see him be someone’s brother, cousin, nephew, or just a regular man hanging out with his folks.
Seeing his guard come down softened her.
Jio was laughing easily, smiling hard and listening more than he talked.
It was as if he took off his armor piece by piece and placed the made man title to the side for the next two days.
His family didn’t just respect him, but they loved the man, and it showed.
She was happy they were there. This was what her needed.
A few days away from whatever had stolen his joy.
No responsibilities. No calls. Just a whole bunch of love.
Jio was where he was supposed to be… he was home.
Eventually, one of his aunts insisted they stop standing downstairs entertaining people and go put their things away. Jio happily took the gateway. Nina went to reach for her bags, but he moved quicker.
“Now you know…” he reminded her of the new rules he’d put in place.
Nina sighed dramatically. “I’ve been carrying my own luggage─”
He cut her off, “Girl, please. You’ve had maids and shit your whole life,” he tittered.
“To confirm you don’t need my help?” He lifted both bags with one hand without mumbling a word.
Nina rolled her eyes. “Fine… which way is the room?” She wasn’t going back and forth with him about it.
The first thing that she noticed and was happy about was that their room was more of a suite and it overlooked the water. The view was gorgeous.
Across one wall floor-to-ceiling windows stretched all the way across, allowing what was left of the sun to shine through. The doors to the balcony were cracked, transporting laughter and old-school jams to fill the room.
Nina walked right onto the terrace. “Wow.”
“I gave the bride and groom my spot for the weekend.”
“So this is your house?” Nina wanted to be sure.
“The house belongs to the family, but my name is on the deed, and I pay the property taxes.”
“Is your room in here or somewhere else?”
“It’s up the hill and ducked off in the back. Like a smaller version of this,” he explained, looking at her up and down.
Nina didn’t respond. Instead, she rested her hands against the railing. All the times she was stressed and he offered to whisk her away to this place or that one… hell, they could’ve just come to The Bluff.
She stepped outside, resting both hands against the railing. There was literally water in every direction, followed by a long dock that went into the bay.
“You hungry?”
She shook her head. “Not yet.”
“What’s going on? You need a nap?” She was his priority. When his baby was good, he was even better.
“I think I'm just... taking it all in.”
He understood that. “Let’s unpack and get settled in,” he decided.
Once dresses and suits were removed from garment bags and hung in the closet. Nina said, “I’m going to lay down for a few minutes and let my phone charge.”
Jio finally went to relieve himself in the bathroom.
When he came back to the room, his sweet baby was replaced with a growling gorilla.
Nina was snoring so damn loud it was ridiculous.
She must’ve been more tired than she knew…
or maybe his baby stole what little energy she’d had left over from a long week of working and traveling.
He tucked her in and kissed her on the forehead before closing the door and going to get high with his family.
η
Lips that only could’ve belonged to one person suckled on her neck, resulting in everything in her body opening up, not just her eyes. Nina moaned in the darkness.
“What time is it?”
“Late, baby,” he whispered before going right back to kissing on her sweet skin. She smelled the beer and tobacco on his breath.
“You didn’t wake me up,” she whined.
“Cus you needed the rest.”
His hands moved fast to take her clothes off. “I missed you,” he told her.
She turned inside his arms.
“What did you miss?”
He thought about it.
“My titties, my ass, and my pussy… the best of the best.”
Yep, he was drunk. His forehead rested against hers as he continued.
“This weekend, no phones and no work.”
She nodded. “Yes sir.”
“I’m serious. You all mine with no distractions.” He refused to share her.
“Just us.” She sealed her promise with a kiss.
Hers wasn’t sloppy or urgent like his had been.
Nina took her time loving on him. Their lovemaking was always the pause that she needed.
Their quickies were never really… quick.
Jio purposely held his nut back to ensure that she got off multiple times before he came once.
He wasn’t a selfish lover and that’s what made her know he was not like other men.
She’d heard horror stories of men being greedy and all about themselves back in her Undergrad days.
Sex was never something she cared to rush into.
She was glad that she’d taken her time getting to it and was even more thankful that it was Jio who she gave her body to.
He’d always treated her with care. Jio made her feel like her pussy was just as valuable as the art that she’d been collecting.
Nina wasn’t giving it away. It would belong to Jio forever.
Although she didn’t have anyone to compare his skills to, deep down, she just knew that he was the best to fuckin’ do it.
From the size to the girth, to the way he talked her through every release, to the warmness of his tongue and how even when she thought they’d finished, he would find his way to her pussy once more. Jio was greedy when it came to Nina. He could never have enough. She liked being desired.
“I don’t like sharing you,” he told her what was already quite obvious.
“Yes baby, I know. I’m going to make sure you have my undivided attention,” she promised as she moved her hands from his face to his stomach down to that big ole thing in his boxers that made all the hoes go crazy… including her, but she wasn’t no hoe though.
“What you trying to do with that?” he asked huskily.
“Come put it in my mouth.”
She wasn’t drunk, but he was, so a win was a win. Jio did really nasty things to her body when he was under the influence. Selfishly, she knew that if she gave him some real good sloppy toppy, he was going to eat her pussy off the bone.
“Is that what you want, baby?”
She said, “Yes. I want you to fuck my face.”
Nina shocked herself because she didn’t normally talk like that, but when she felt his dick thumping against her pelvis, she knew that she was spot on.
She smiled in the darkness. Jio climbed off her and got on his knees and brought Nina’s lips onto the head of his dick.
“Hmmmm….” she moaned happily.
Nina wrapped her lips around the whole thing and took him all the way in until she gagged. He’d hit the back of her throat and stayed there. She held her breath and sucked him as hard as she could while looking into his eyes.
“You so fuckin’ pretty.”
He snatched her bonnet off so he could move her head how he wanted to see it bob on his dick.
Nina took him out of her mouth and gawked up a healthy amount of spit mixed with his salty pre-cum.
“Yeah, bookie wet that shit up.” She knew what he liked. He’d been getting her together and she was such a fast learner.
Nina made these noises with her lips that made Jio’s toes curl and throw up gang signs but he was a part of the Mob.
“There you go, baby.” He was feeling that shit.
She sucked him good because she actually wanted to. He didn’t like no lazy head. He wanted his woman to want to make him feel good because he kept that same energy. Sex was supposed to be enjoyable for both parties involved.
Nina was aiming to please him. She would be greatly rewarded later.
“Hold that tongue out,” he said as he pulled his dick out of her mouth and slapped it against her face.
It was firm and hard and her spit dripped from the sides.
“Aahhhh!”
