Diary entry
What do you mean to me?
Everything.
Day by day, I take pleasure in my captured butterfly.
The only difference is, now I’m watching her in our backyard, where she’s dancing with our daughter, smiling.
She’s no longer dying.
Her eyes aren’t sad anymore.
She’s shining bright, singing.
Grace carries all summers within her.
And now I know I don’t have to share her with anyone, because her smile is mine. That spellbound look is mine. Her soft touch is mine.
Her love and her heart are mine.
And I want to show this miracle to the world.
They have to see my gorgeous butterfly—shining this bright because of me.
