Chapter 24

24

Skye Simmons

My back arches off the bed once again as Gray pushes in deeper. My toes curl, my hands fist the sheets. I’d lost track of time, my mind swimming with so many emotions.

I’ve never experienced this kind of pleasure. A man treating me as if I am the only thing that matters. Gray took his time, ensuring my entire body felt his touch.

With each thrust of his hips he grinds against me, and I can already feel myself building toward release.

A moan rips through me and he covers my mouth with his own, swallowing my noises.

“Shh,” he reminds me we are not alone and though I know I need to be quiet it’s almost impossible. “You feel incredible,” he tells me before kissing me once more.

My fingernails dig into his back, his hand beneath my ass to tilt me just right.

“Damn,” he whispers near my ear. “You are so wet.”

I should feel embarrassed by his words but it feels too good to register them. With my limited experience he’d blown my mind and I was nothing but a mess of need and want.

“Mm, yeah.” He bites my neck. “Fuck me back, baby.”

And I do, shifting against him chasing my release. I’m so close, hanging on the edge. “Wow.” Gray looks down to the space between us and I follow his gaze. Seeing him slip inside of me over and over, he was right. Wow!

“You are perfect,” I have to agree. “You keep moving like that and I’m gonna lose it.”

His words are a plea, but I can tell he doesn’t want me to stop. Together we move, like we are two halves creating a whole.

“Fuck, Skye,” he growls, burying his face in the crook of my neck. His hot breath heating my chest, as his hips begin to pump faster. “You feel so good,” he confesses. “We are so good together.”

I agree, nothing has ever felt this good. At least not for me it hasn’t.

“I’m so close.” I tilt my hips, wrapping my legs around his waist. “Don’t stop.”

“I won’t,” he assures me, pushing in deep. “I can’t.”

Slamming inside of me harder and faster, I tighten my legs around him and bite my lower lip to keep from screaming. “Give in to it,” he coaxes me. “Don’t fight it, I want to feel you.”

I didn’t want it to end.

As if he can hear my thoughts he kisses me, before ensuring I’m looking up into his eyes. “This isn’t a one-time thing. We do not end here.

We are just getting started, Skye. I want this, I want you.”

“Someone has a little more pep in her step,” Vivian says much too loud as I round the corner and the hostess leads me to the table. Her and Scarlett watch as I sit down, both looking at me with matching smiles.

“Hello, ladies,” I say, scooting my chair in closer to the table.

“That’s all we get?” Vivian asks with a scowl. “No details of just how hot the flames are with Gray between the sheets?”

I feel my cheeks heat up.

“Nope.” Scarlett sticks a finger in each ear and starts to hum. “No details, seriously please do not share.” She fakes a shiver.

“Speak for yourself.” Vivian laughs. “My girl here is practically glowing, and I’m not getting any. So if you don’t want to hear about how Grayson is when the lights go out, then take a walk.”

“The lights were very much on.” I gain the attention of them both and realize I said those words out loud.

“Nice.” Vivian dances in her chair. “And,” she holds her hands out as if measuring something and Scarlett gags, swatting her hands away.

“Do not answer that question.” She points at me narrowing her eyes. “There are some things I should never ever know. That is one of those things. In fact anything involving his hands, mouth, or appendage I should be excluded from.”

“But what if I really really want to know every little detail about said appendage?” Vivian is taunting her on purpose I can tell by her smirk.

“Blah blah.” Scarlett rolls her eye at Viv. “But all jokes aside, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Grayson smile so much.”

Our waitress interrupts our conversation and takes our orders.

My phone beeps in my purse and I dig it out of my bag to see a waiting message from Grayson.

It’s a picture. Of me!

“What are you looking at?” Vivian pulls my phone out of my hands and turns it so that she can see the screen. Her brows furrow, then my phone vibrates and her eyes widen.

“Awe, who knew Gray had such a sweet side.”

Quickly taking it back I look at the screen.

Grayson: Been looking at this picture all day. My angel.

“He doesn’t have a sweet side,” Scarlett interjects.

Grayson: Miss you!

“He does.” I look up over my phone to find them both watching me.

“No.” She shakes her head. “It’s you. He found his comfort.”

“What?”

“It’s just something Gray and I discussed once, and he never understood what I meant. But the moment he met you he confessed he felt it too.”

I stare at Scarlett, wanting to ask more but knowing that it’s something her and Gray share. So instead I take the little she’s already offered and accept that I’m not just another girl I’m more.
