Chapter 14 Liam
FOURTEEN
LIAM
A bike ride in March was not on Liam’s list of date options, but seeing Austin in cycling shorts that left nothing to the imagination had quickly changed his mind.
At least one of them was being sensible.
After their dinner on Wednesday night, where Liam had cooked a sausage casserole – yes, there had been a lot of flirtatious jokes – they’d spent the best part of an hour kissing on Liam’s sofa.
He'd been so close to cumming a few times, but Austin had kept enough space between them that he couldn’t get enough friction.
As soon as his truck had driven away, Liam had pulled his cock out.
It had only taken half a dozen strokes, and he’d cum so hard he couldn’t move for five minutes.
At least this way he could restrain himself and not act like a horny teenager.
Plus, he had the best view, as Austin was in front and he could see that perfect round arse and thick thighs.
He could imagine the power that would be in them when he finally gave Liam the pounding of his life.
Liam had built up their first time in his head so much, he doubted even the god of sex could live up to the fantasy.
Was there a god of sex? There was definitely a goddess of love.
Or would it be a goddess of sex? Was it presumptuous of him to assume that it would be a sex god to contrast with a love goddess?
He couldn’t help but laugh. Austin looked at him with a frown before stopping his bike.
They were on the trail that went around Heartwood and some of the neighbouring towns.
This was the ten-kilometre trail. The ground was all flat, and there was lunch waiting for them by the river when they got to the end.
Liam couldn’t remember the last time he’d ridden his bike, and had needed to repair a puncture he didn’t even know he had before they’d started out. He pulled up alongside Austin.
“What are you laughing about? Have I got something on me?”
“No. I was just thinking about ancient Greece.”
“Oh. I thought you were ogling my arse.”
Liam blushed. “I might have been doing that as well. I was just wondering if there was a god of sex, or if it was a goddess of sex.”
Austin snorted. “I suppose that’s a compliment, given what you were looking at.”
Liam dismounted the bike. They were in a clearing, and nobody else was around, so a quick break wouldn’t hurt them.
He grabbed his water bottle and guzzled some down.
Austin was watching him, and it felt like he was being undressed.
Liam wondered if they could come back after their fifth date, and Austin could fuck him against a tree.
Knowing anyone could pass by at any moment gave him an excited thrill, and he wasn’t even an outdoorsy fucking kind of guy.
“And what filthy things are going through your mind right now?” asked Austin.
“Nope. Not saying anything, because then you’ll say something, which will mean I’ll have to cycle with a hard-on.”
“So, you wouldn’t like me to push you up against that tree and stick my tongue down your throat.”
“I’d rather you stick your tongue somewhere else,” he mumbled.
“What was that?” asked Austin, putting his bike down and stalking over to Liam.
“Nothing.”
He picked Liam up and carried him towards the tree, his back hitting the trunk. Fuck, that was hot. Liam had a lot of muscle, and Austin just picked him up like he was nothing. He leaned forward for a kiss, but Austin pulled back with a smile. Liam whimpered – completely involuntarily, of course.
“First, tell me what you said.”
“I just said yes please when you mentioned the whole tongue down the throat thing, so how about we do that and stop talking.”
He leaned forward again, but Austin shook his head. He was smiling, so Liam knew it wouldn’t take much for him to get what he wanted. Austin was still holding him up, so Liam wrapped his legs around him and gave a thrust.
“You’re trouble, Liam Wells.”
“Excuse me. You’re the one who talked about tongue thrusting.”
“I don’t remember using that word.”
“Well, whatever word it was, you offered to kiss me against this tree and now you’re being a tease.”
“You know what I think?”
“That you need to stop thinking and start kissing.”
“I think you were imagining my tongue doing something else.”
Liam flushed and couldn’t look Austin in the eyes.
“Are you going to tell me what you’d like me to do to you against this tree?”
He shook his head, feeling embarrassed.
“Okay, then,” said Austin, lowering Liam to the ground.
“What are you doing?” Liam whined.
“Getting back to our bike ride.”
“But you promised me a kiss.”
He didn’t like how whiny his voice was, but he wasn’t above begging.
“And you promised to be honest with me.”
Liam groaned. “Fine, I thought about you using your tongue for something else.”
“What?”
“I’m sure you can guess.”
“I can, but I want you to say it.”
“Fine. I want you to . . . I want you to fuck me with your tongue, and then pick me up like you just did and pound me against this tree.”
Austin’s eyes went almost feral as he picked Liam up again and slammed him against the tree, plundering his mouth with his tongue.
Liam was hard in seconds and couldn’t help but thrust against Austin’s stomach.
He reciprocated with a roll of his hips, and Liam was reminded again that Austin wasn’t small, but if he wanted to take him now, he’d make it fit.
He wanted it all, and not just Austin’s dick. He wanted his heart as well.
“We’d better get going before I do something that could get us arrested,” said Austin.
“I don’t object to taking the risk.”
Austin chuckled. “Such a tease. Come on,” he said, lowering Liam again. “The first time I have you will not be up against a tree. It’s going to somewhere private, so I can take my time with you.”
Austin kissed Liam on the lips, letting it linger a couple of seconds, enough to not be too chaste, but not enough for things to heat up again.
He smiled, turned, and was mounting his bike before Liam’s brain came back online.
His cock was still like a tent pole, which would make cycling uncomfortable.
It was frustrating, but he knew he’d appreciate it more if they waited.
The whole being private and taking hours thing .
. . Well, he didn’t say hours, but he had a feeling Austin wasn’t a pump-and-dump kind of guy.
Liam got back on his bike, willing his cock to go down, and then cycled after Austin.
Their next date couldn’t come soon enough.
Liam had jinxed himself. It was Thursday, and apart from his morning coffee visit, he hadn’t seen Austin.
They’d both been busy, but tonight would be their fourth date.
They only had a couple of hours because he needed to be home for Maisie, so they were going for dinner at the Stag and Lantern.
It had been Liam’s suggestion, because the closer they were to home, the more time they could have together.
Austin had been reluctant, given it was his friends who owned the place, and he knew they wouldn’t be able to stop themselves from trying to embarrass him.
Liam didn’t think it was possible for Austin to be embarrassed, well, not like he was constantly.
He still couldn’t believe he’d told Austin that he wanted to be fucked up against a tree.
Liam arrived at the pub, and Gerard was acting as host, with a shit-eating grin on his face, because of course he was.
“Good evening, Mr Wells. Mr Calder is already seated.”
Liam chuckled and followed Gerard into the restaurant.
This place had been a run-down old restaurant before Gerard and Kevin bought it.
They’d levelled the building and started from scratch, but while Liam had been in the bar many times, he hadn’t eaten in the restaurant a lot.
His mum had loved cooking, so they’d rarely gone out for dinner, especially when he only visited once a month.
God, what he’d give for one of her home-cooked meals now.
But he didn’t want to think about sad things, not when he was about to have dinner with the most handsome guy in town.
Austin stood up with a big smile as they approached.
He was wearing one of his smarter plaid shirts, and another pair of jeans that showed off his thick thighs.
Austin cupped Liam’s face in his hands and gave him a kiss, which nearly took him to his knees, and that was without tongue.
The man was the god of kissing, which was definitely a thing.
“Wow. I need to start smoking again after that,” said Gerard, his voice cutting through the moment.
“I told you we shouldn’t have come here,” grumbled Austin against Liam’s mouth.
“Sit your bums down before you cause all the old dears to have a heart attack,” said Gerard, passing them their menus.
“You’ve got a keeper here,” he said to Austin, with a thumbs up. “Liam, I think you can do better.”
They both laughed as Gerard left them to it.
“I’m sorry we have to rush like this. It’s just been one of those weeks.”
“Austin, it’s fine. You have to put Maisie first, and technically I own a business as well, so I know what that’s like.”
“I thought your mum left her half of the bakery to you.”
“She did, but it’s not all been finalised yet. Dad’s the executor, and it wasn’t at the top of his list the past few months. He’s dealing with it now, though. I offered to help, but he said he wants to do it by himself.”
“And how are you feeling about it all?”
Austin took hold of his hand and did that thing with his thumb, gently stroking him. Why was that so soothing?
“I’m okay. Nothing will really change. I’ll still be at the bakery every day.”
“That’s not what I meant.”
Before he could respond, their server arrived.
“Callum? What are you doing here?”
“Oh, hi, Liam. Just picked up a few shifts here for some extra money. Sorry, was I supposed to tell you?”
