Chapter 20

TWENTY

LIAM

“Are you pouting?” asked Liam, unable to suppress a grin.

Austin rolled on top of him, his cock pressing against Liam’s leg. How was that thing hard again already? He tickled Liam’s sides, making him squeal and try to get free from Austin’s fingers.

“It’s only two nights,” he gasped, protesting.

“I’ll miss you,” said Austin, kissing Liam’s neck, making him moan. The things this man could do with his mouth, and tongue, and . . . well . . . everything.

“At least you won’t have to get woken up at half-three tomorrow.”

“I don’t care about that, because I can go back to sleep and the pillows still smell of you.”

Liam felt his heart rate speed up. Austin was very open about his feelings for Liam.

They’d only been officially dating for just over a month, and sleeping together the last three weeks, and he meant that literally.

Liam had stayed at Austin’s almost every night since the first night they’d spent together.

It felt intense, but not in a way that made Liam panic.

He was a little scared, though. He’d had guys offer him the world, and as soon as he let his guard down and said those three little words, he’d been dropped, ghosted, or treated like shit.

Liam knew in his heart that Austin wasn’t like those guys, but he couldn’t risk it by putting his feelings out there.

He couldn’t be the first to say what his true feelings were. Not this time.

If Austin turned out to be like every other guy, Liam wasn’t sure he’d ever get over it.

Add that he lived in this small village where he saw everyone all the time, and they all knew his business, and Liam knew he needed to be careful.

A couple of nights apart would be an opportunity for him to have some headspace to think, something which was impossible when Austin’s mouth and fingers were exploring him everywhere, and his cock was pressing against him, making its intentions clear.

In the last three weeks, Liam wouldn’t say it had become easier to take Austin’s cock, but once it was inside him, he wanted them to stay connected like that forever.

“Let me give you something to remember me by,” said Austin.

“I don’t think I’m going to forget you in two days.”

“Okay, well, give me something to remember you by. I’m older than you. My memory is not what it was.”

Liam snorted. “There’s nothing old about you. You have the stamina of a horny teenager.”

Austin kissed him, his hands roaming everywhere.

Liam felt like every nerve in his body was being simulated at once.

He was practically vibrating under Austin’s touch.

He loved how the man pinned him to the mattress, but when one of Austin’s fingers breached his hole, he couldn’t stop himself from wincing.

“What’s wrong? Are you sore?”

“You’ll just have to go easy.”

“I’ve got a better idea,” said Austin with a grin on his face.

Before Liam could ask what he meant, Austin had flipped him over, and his tongue was pushing Liam to the edge in seconds.

“Someone looks well fucked,” said Kieran when Liam walked into his old living room.

Their flat was in North London and had four bedrooms, with a shared living space and kitchen. Thankfully, they had two bathrooms, or it would have been handbags at dawn with four gay guys getting ready for work in the morning.

“Where’s Milo?” asked Liam as he hugged Kieran and Hassan.

He hadn’t seen these two since his mum’s funeral, but they’d spoken on the phone.

“He’s probably running late after probing the enemy,” said Kieran.

Liam and Hassan cracked up laughing, along with Kieran.

His feisty, tattooed friend had a hatred of politicians regardless of political affiliation.

He was anti-establishment, so when it was discovered Milo was in a relationship with the deputy prime minister, he’d had a bit of an issue with it.

Well . . . he’d had a big issue with it.

Once he saw Milo and Edward together, he’d softened, but from what Liam had heard, Kieran still liked to give Edward a hard time by challenging him on every political thing that was going on.

Kieran had a lot of pent-up anger, which was understandable after what he’d been through with his family.

They didn’t speak anymore. Hassan had a similar situation, and it’s what had bonded the two guys at university.

They’d met in medical school, but after a year, Kieran had dropped out and Hassan had gone all the way.

He was now an A Austin was just bigger. Hassan poured them all drinks.

“Right, no more cock talk tonight,” said Milo.

“Excuse me,” said Kieran. “Some of us are still single.”

“Fine, no more talking about Austin’s cock, or how hard Edward likes to be fucked,” said Milo, with a glare at Kieran.

“He didn’t,” said Liam.

“It’s Kieran. Of course he did.”

They all laughed before clinking glasses.

Liam took a sip. Hassan had bought the good stuff.

Not like when they were students and had spent less than a tenner a bottle for wine that was part of the vinegar family.

In fact, white wine vinegar probably tasted better than some of the stuff they’d had back then. Still, it did the job.

“It’s going to be weird saying goodbye to this place after four years,” said Liam.

“You haven’t lived here for the last four months,” said Kieran. “You already said your goodbyes.”

“So why am I still paying a quarter of the rent?”

“I’ll hold your hand when you say goodbye tomorrow,” Kieran replied, making them all laugh again.

They’d had their difficulties over the past six years of living together, four of them in this flat.

He was closer to Milo, as he’d known him longer, but he would miss seeing all of them every day.

Liam had made the right decision in moving home, though.

It had always been the plan, and Milo had moved in with Edward, which made sense given how high profile his job was.

It meant fewer opportunities for them to be photographed together in public.

They’d both had enough of that for a lifetime.

Liam knew he wouldn’t lose touch with Milo, not after everything they’d been through together.

He just hoped he didn’t drift apart from the other two.

Their lives were different, and Liam didn’t live in the city anymore.

He would do all he could to make sure that didn’t happen.

Madame Hoes was packed, as was common on a Friday night.

Add to that they were having an April heatwave, so a bit of sun always brought the gays out in droves – namely to see hot guys in tight vests and shorts.

Liam might be loved up with Austin, but he was still a gay man who could appreciate biceps and thighs.
