Chapter 19
“Oh, shit,” I cooed as my fingers gripped Calil’s hair.
He’d woken me up with his head buried between my thighs. At first, I thought I was dreaming until I opened my eyes and spotted a head full of locs between my legs. Calil moaned as his tongue swiped over my clit. He pushed my legs back further than they already were.
“Fuck.” His tongue entered me with precision, and I felt my juices leak out of me.
My head thrashed back and forth, and my back arched off the bed as Calil’s tongue took my breath away.
“Give me that shit, Sloan.” Calil slowly slid two fingers inside of me. His tongue swirled repeatedly over my clit. I tightened the hold I had on his hair.
“Calil, please.” I wasn’t ashamed to beg because of how good it felt.
I squeezed my eyes shut when my stomach tightened. I felt pressure from my toes spread throughout my body as an orgasm tore through me with a vengeance.
“Calil! Calil!” I screamed.
He didn’t let up no matter how much I screamed, squirmed, or tried to get away. I came again when he sucked on my clit.
Am I still alive? It felt like I was free-falling from the sky.
“I’m gonna cum again,” I cried.
Calil ran his hand up my body until he reached one of my breasts. He used two fingers to squeeze one of my nipples.
This man ain’t playing fair.
It wasn’t until I came again that he finally let up. He wasn’t done with me, though. He got off the bed and pulled me to the edge by my legs.
Calil wasted no time in putting my legs on his shoulders and entering me. By the time I left his house, I wouldn’t be able to walk. He wasn’t making love to me this time. No, he fucked me, and I loved it. It wasn’t fast but rough, and I enjoyed it.
He placed a hand at the front of my neck. “You like that shit, pretty girl?”
“Fuck. Yes.” I wrapped my hand over his hand that was around my neck.
“Squeeze harder, Lil.”
He looked down at me. I could see the question swirling in his eyes if I were sure or not.
“Please.”
Something about his hands around my neck made me wetter. I wasn’t sure why, though. It felt possessive, and I liked it. His grip tightened as he plunged deeper and harder into me.
“Shit,” he groaned when I tightened my walls around him.
This was the third time we had sex, and not one time had we used a condom. I wasn’t on birth control, and I hadn’t taken a Plan B. I didn’t think I could get pregnant anyway since Roy and I hadn’t had any more kids.
Calil lowered his head and kissed me at the same time he came inside of me. He pumped a few more times, then laid on top of me. He placed his head in the crook of my neck while his dick was still inside of me.
“Thank goodness I don’t have practice today because you just wore me out, girl,” he admitted against my neck before he kissed it.
I shifted a little and ran my hand through his hair.
“I was sleeping, minding my business, sir. It was you who started it.”
I moaned when he shifted, and his dick hit my spot. I felt it harden a little, but he didn’t move.
“Best way to start the morning, baby.” He lifted his head and kissed me.
I thought he would get up, but the more we kissed, the harder he got. I thought my poor kitty had enough, but she took Calil’s dick like a champ.
It took a while before Calil and I left his bedroom to get some food from the kitchen.
While I cooked, Calil went to check on his grandfather, who had been doing much better.
He enjoyed the staff from the agency, and from what I learned, he talked to one of the ladies on a more personal level.
There wasn’t anything wrong with Grandpa getting his groove on as long as he didn’t hurt his hip again.
“Have you had any relationships as an adult?” I asked Calil as we ate the brunch I cooked.
“Nope. It was hard because I was too busy establishing my career. I felt like a relationship would hold me back from being the best I could be. I feel confident that when people mention the greats in basketball, my name will be in that conversation no matter what happens from here on out. I’m one of, if not the best, three-point shooters there is.
I could retire now if I wanted to, but I’m not ready yet.
To be as old as I am, I’m still in great shape.
I don’t know when I will quit, but I pray it’s on my own terms. I’ve had injuries over the years, but nothing too serious.
” He knocked on the table since it was wood.
“I pray every day that it stays that way.”
“What about when you find a wife and have kids?”
“What about it? I wouldn’t make a woman my wife if she’s not supportive of my career.
As far as kids, if the Lord sees fit that I have a child, I’ll do what I have to do to be there as much as I possibly can.
Again, my wife will understand my lifestyle, so I don’t see a problem.
Plus, my wife and potential baby momma already supports me. ” He winked and chuckled.
I looked around the room like someone else was in there with us. That was the third time he referred to me as his wife.
“You just know what my decision is without me saying it, huh?”
Calil squared his shoulders and looked me in the eyes. His intense gaze made me nervous.
“I do know. I’ve been single all this time because I was waiting for you. The signs are all there that we will be together again. Look how everything played out.”
I thought about it, and it was weird that Calil came back into my life shortly before my marriage crumbled. Did God know what was going to happen? Or was it just a coincidence? Maybe it was fate. I didn’t know what it was, but it was crazy how it all happened.
“I guess we’ll see.”
Silence fell over the kitchen. The only sound was the low hum of the refrigerator, and we only heard it because it was so quiet. Calil had a fancy ass fridge that hardly made any noise.
“I know you need to get home soon, so let’s get dressed so I can drop you off,” Calil declared after a few minutes.
“Okay. You said something about some clothes. Let’s see what you got.” I hopped up from the stool I was sitting on and put my dish in the sink.
Calil followed behind me, and then we went upstairs.
“So, I got you a few things that you can keep here just in case,” Calil said when he entered his massive walk-in closet.
“A few. Calil, this is a whole wardrobe,” I pointed out as I walked to one side of the closet that held different types of clothes. There were business attire, dressy outfits, and leisure outfits.
Calil just shrugged and walked over to the dresser in the middle of the room.
“These three drawers are yours as well.” He opened the three drawers, and I walked over to find them filled with underclothes, socks, and pajamas.
“Calil. You are spoiling me.”
He walked up to me and pulled me into his arms. “You deserve this and then some, Sloan. I want you to be comfortable whenever you come over here. I know you haven’t made a decision about us, but I wanted to show you how serious I am about you, so I have to back up my words.
” He kissed the tip of my nose, then my lips, and released me. “There’s more I have to show you.”
I couldn’t imagine Calil having anything else for me.
I wasn’t spending time with him because of his money and what he could do for me, but it sure was helping.
It was the fact that during this short amount of time, Calil paid attention to my likes.
All the outfits were something I would buy for myself, but they were more expensive.
“Come here,” Calil urged, holding his hand out. I put my hand in his, and he led us to the other side of the closet.
My eyes ballooned when I saw multiple pairs of sneakers and shoes.
“Calil, you know I don’t care about your money, right?” I had to make sure he understood that. I was sure he encountered women daily who were after his money.
“You think I don’t know that, Sloan? That’s what makes me do things like this easier.
I know I jumped the gun, and if you decide you don’t want to pursue this, you can take everything home.
However, I hope that’s not the case. There’s plenty of room for the boys to come over with you when they have to.
Find something to put on so I can take you home.
” He kissed my cheek and walked to the other side of the closet.
My brain and body froze as Calil got dressed. I couldn’t wrap my head around him doing all of that. He hadn’t even asked my sizes, yet everything looked like it would fit.
“Chop, chop, pretty girl.” Calil’s voice rushing me broke me out of my trance.
I grabbed an outfit and underclothes and got dressed.
“Thank you, Calil,” I expressed as I wrapped my arms around him from behind.
He turned in my arms and kissed my forehead. “No problem. Anything you need is yours. Just ask.”
I wasn’t going to ask him for anything, so I just nodded.
Once we were both ready, Calil and I left his house.
I didn’t mind him dropping me off at home because I knew the boys weren’t there.
This would be the first time Calil would see my house.
I wasn’t ashamed because Roy and I worked hard for our house, but it was nothing compared to Calil’s.
I knew enough about Calil to know that he wouldn’t compare my house to his either.
“Nice house,” Calil commented when we approached my home.
“Thank you. I love it.”
“As you should.” Calil leaned over the console and kissed me. “Call me later.”
“I will.” I grabbed my bag and got out of the car.
When I reached the front door and opened it, I waved at Calil, and he pulled off.
“Who the fuck was that?”
I jumped out of my skin when Roy got in my face.
“First of all, back the fuck up. Second, as I’ve told you before, you have no right to question me. The boys aren’t here, so why the fuck are you here?”
I didn’t see Roy’s car outside, so I didn’t expect him to be in the house.
“I came here because I wanted to talk to you about getting my family back, but you’re out here being a whore when you are supposed to be taking care of our kids.”
I laughed from the bottom of my belly. I had to be living in the twilight zone.
“I’m the whore?” I asked as I pointed at myself. “You had…”
I shook my head. There was no need to argue with him.
“Like I said, the boys aren’t here, and you shouldn’t be. I don’t want to have to call the authorities, but I will if you don’t get the fuck out.”
“Fuck you, Sloan.”
I smirked. “Sure, Roy.”
Roy slammed the door on his way out. I made a mental note to change the locks because I didn’t need him thinking he could come in and out of the house whenever he wanted to.
I took my bag to the laundry room so that I could wash clothes later.
I flopped down on the couch and thought about how my life had turned out.
Maybe moving on with Calil so soon wasn’t the best idea.
Not because I wanted Roy back, but because I could see Roy causing problems for Calil and me, and Calil didn’t deserve that or need it.
Maybe I needed to take a step back from Calil to let Roy calm down.
I rested my head against the back of the couch and closed my eyes. I needed to figure out something soon.
