Chapter 10
Taylor
Three months later
“Hey, Taylor, I’m home.”
Griff’s voice echoed through our apartment. Even though I was in the bedroom, staring at myself in the full-length mirror, I could still hear him. He came down the hall. He must have stopped and checked to see if I was in my office. Then finally, his large frame filled the doorway.
“Have you seen your ranks? Your book is killing it!” His smile was wide, the pride in his eyes shining bright.
I sighed. “You know I don’t look at that on release day. It gives me anxiety.”
“I know. I’m sorry. I was just excited to see it. This is the first time I’ve gotten to experience this with you.” He pulled me into his arms, kissed my neck, nibbling a bit near my Adam’s apple. “You smell divine. I could devour you right now.”
I shoved him away. “We’re supposed to go out to dinner with your executive buddies.”
“They can wait,” he said, tugging at my shirt.
I pushed him away more forcefully. “They cannot. All of this can wait until we get back.”
He groaned. “All right.”
We had been living together for three months now, and though it had been weird for the first week or so—staying at home, not having to worry about bills and all of that—I then found that without all those worries, my creative juices could just flow.
I was pumping out words faster than I ever had before, engaging with readers in new and exciting ways, I even had a group of author friends I met up with regularly to discuss writing.
I had been able to bump up the release of my new book because of all the extra time I had for work, and Griff was attentive, as always, encouraging me every step of the way.
In turn, I took care of a few things around the house for him.
I wasn’t the best maid in the world, but I kept the place tidy, and I could throw a passable meal together.
Turned out cooking for more than just me was actually enjoyable, although with the size of Griff and how much he enjoyed working out, I still had a lot to learn about portion sizes for him.
“What are we celebrating tonight?” I asked.
“I don’t know. Some merger or something I should pay closer attention to. Sawyer worked on the report. The details are boring.”
“Of course they are. You’d much rather be reading my work.
Are you going like that, or do you want to change?
” I asked. He was still dressed in his suit from the office.
Meanwhile, I was contemplating if I was wearing these plain khaki pants, or if I was going for the bolder blue skintight pants I’d picked up when I went shopping with Sawyer and Evan last week.
“I’ll change quick and shower. That way, when we get home, we can jump straight into bed.”
I chuckled. “Sure thing. Or a quickie in the bathroom...”
His eyes lit up. “I like the way you think, you little minx.”
“We’ll be late,” I reminded him.
He growled. “Fine. I’ll shower and we’ll go.”
While he showered, I contemplated my next move. If I put on those pants, there was no way we were walking out of here without a quickie. Which was never really quick.
Besides, I had something I had been working on that I was dying to try out. I had a scene to write, and I needed it to be perfect. That required thorough research. Griff was always on board for thorough research.
Decision made, I shucked off the khakis and put on the blue pants.
Griff never took long showers, so I didn’t have a ton of time.
Before I knew it, he was in the room. His eyes darkened when he saw me. He wore only a towel around his waist. A regular-size one, which meant it barely concealed his massive body.
“You changed,” he said.
I shrugged one shoulder. “I bought these when I went out with Sawyer the other night.”
A rumble sounded in Griff’s chest, and the noise went straight to my cock. Not that there was much room for me to grow hard in these pants, they just left me uncomfortable and wanting. Oh well, I wouldn’t be wearing them for long.
“They look good on you.”
“Thanks.”
We stared at one another. Griff not moving, except for the tent growing beneath his towel.
“Aren’t you going to get dressed? We’ll be late.”
Griff grunted.
I walked over to him and closed the distance between us. His eyes didn’t leave my hips as I sashayed across the room. He licked his lips like an animal anticipating a feast. Only he wasn’t the one who was going to be feasting tonight.
“Did I mention I had some research I needed to do? Something you can help with...”
“Oh? And what’s that, little rabbit? How can I help?”
I dropped to my knees. I looked up at him, my face mere inches from his hard cock. Water droplets still clung to his body. The fresh scent of his soap hit my nostrils, and I breathed it in.
His fingers threaded through my hair, and he brought my face closer to his groin. Then the towel was gone and his massive cock was right in front of me, begging to be worshiped. And I was there at the altar of Griff Halstead to do just that.
I opened my mouth and waited. Griff put one hand to the base of his cock and another behind my neck. He guided his cock into my welcoming mouth, slowly, ready to stop at any indication that I didn’t want this.
I didn’t give it.
His length disappeared inside my mouth, the full weight of him on my tongue, and I opened my throat and let all of him inside. He kept going until my nose was buried in his groin, the short hairs tickling my nostrils.
Griff’s eyes went wide.
“You’ve been practicing, little rabbit.”
I smiled as best as I could with his cock stretching my lips.
Then I began to lick, bobbing my head up and down his length.
Spit and drool coated his length as I worked his shaft.
His hips jerked, and he held my head. I rode out his thrusts, keeping my throat open so I could take all of him in.
My eyes watered and my cock was impossibly hard.
I reached down and unzipped my pants to get some relief.
“Jerk yourself off, baby. Show me how you pleasure yourself.”
My eyes rolled back. My body reacting to the command in Griff’s voice.
He tugged at my hair, his hips thrusting harder now. Then he pulled out of my mouth and stroked his length. He came with a roar, his cum coating my face.
Once he was finished, he stroked his hand down my cheek. “Such a pretty little rabbit, painted so pretty for me.”
I licked my lips.
“I think we’re going to be late for dinner,” I said.
Griff let out a boisterous laugh and tugged me to my feet. “Come, little rabbit, let’s get you cleaned up. I suppose you’ll have to wear those khakis after all.”
