Imade a mistake. My impatience took hold of me. I should have waited longer. Allowed Storm to become complacent, believing that man would protect her from the inevitable. Allowed her to believe she was safe in paradise when, in fact, she was anything but.

Getting to the food without being seen and putting the poison in both dishes, because I could not be certain who would eat what, had been a difficult task. But I had managed and now my chance was gone.

I needed to be smarter. The man with Storm was perceptive. I would have to do a little digging and find out who he was and what kind of obstacle he would present.

Next time I would succeed. She couldn’t escape from me forever.
