Chapter 19

Army

After listening to Leeva’s call through the bug planted in her bedroom, my phone rings as I rush into my bedroom at the clubhouse to grab what I need. I already know it’s Digits calling me—and I know exactly what he’s about to say—but I answer, anyway.

“Leeva’s leaving the hotel,” Digits reports. “I’ll track where she goes.”

“No,” I snap, undoing my jeans one-handed. “I’ve got it from here.”

“You’re at the clubhouse. I know you are.”

A smile curves my mouth. Dirty. Dark. Filthy. “And I know where she’s going.”

I end the call, not waiting for his response or questions. I quickly change into a dark suit and shirt, then grab the wolf mask and head for the door.

I’ve been stalking my prey—marking my territory, marking her—the past few nights while she slept.

Now it’s time to devour her.
