Chapter Eleven
Sweat coated JJ’s body. He couldn’t breathe.
Leary kissed the bottom of his foot, sticking to his promise of kissing JJ from head to toe to the letter.
Pre-cum leaked onto his stomach. He wondered if anyone had ever actually died from unquenched lust. Leary had literally open-mouth kissed every inch of JJ except where JJ begged for him to be. His entire body was on fire.
“Oh my God. You’re evil. You’re actually evil. How have you managed to hide this much sadism for nearly a year? Holy shit, baby. I might literally die.”
Leary laughed against the top of JJ’s foot. “I haven’t started on the backside of you yet.”
JJ’s head shot up. He glared down the line of his body, ready to commit crimes against humanity. JJ had never been so close to snapping in his life.
“Oooh, my poor baby. You should see your face. Do you give in yet? Do I get to be the daddy today?”
JJ threw his arms in the air. “For fuck’s sake, Leary. I’ll call you anything you want if you’ll just—” His words died in a guttural moan as Leary licked his cock from root to tip.
“Oh God.”
Leary swallowed him.
That was all it took. He had been on a hair trigger for at least half an hour.
“Fuck, Daddy. That’s it. Suck me,” JJ cried out as he blew so hard, he was pretty sure he also had a stroke.
He convulsed to the point of pulling a muscle.
His entire body locked up as waves of ecstasy shook him.
JJ had no idea what words or sounds left him.
He saw God. He wheezed while Leary propped his head up with his hand and looked thoughtful.
“Huh. You’re right. Being the daddy really isn’t for me. I much prefer being the baby.”
JJ’s mind glitched. He snagged Leary and yanked him up the bed until they were eye to eye. “Do you mean to tell me I just endured all that and you don’t even want to play that game now?”
Leary must have seen something in his expression. His eyes darted from side to side, as if searching for an escape. “I mean, you still had fun, right?”
JJ pounced. He went down on Leary, showing no mercy. When he felt Leary tense, JJ squeezed his erection, stopping him from coming.
“Oh no.”
Leary chuckled. The sound was evil, even to him. “Oh yeah. Two can play this game.” He waited until he felt Leary’s muscles relax before sucking him again, and again he squeezed off Leary’s orgasm at the last second. Unfortunately, his whimpers didn’t make JJ feel vindicated. He just felt guilty.
“Please, Daddy? I promise I’ll be good. I’ll never try to be the daddy again. That’s your title forever.”
How was JJ supposed to resist that? He couldn’t.
Leary was his whole heart; torturing him was tormenting him.
This time, he turned gentle. He let Leary’s orgasm build, but he let it grow slowly.
When he felt Leary tense, JJ set a pace that would yield maximum results.
When Leary came, JJ hummed as the taste of his cum filled JJ’s mouth. He never got enough of that flavor.
JJ sucked out every drop he could get and then turned his head to rest on Leary’s stomach.
He didn’t want to move. They could live in bed and JJ would never tire of this.
Love just coated every aspect of his life now.
The quiet and peace, and wholeness Leary gave him was priceless. He had never been so in love with life.
Leary ran his fingers through JJ’s hair. “It’s too bad we have plans today. I could stay like this forever.”
JJ smiled at how much their thoughts matched. “We promised July we’d go to lunch, and there’s no blowing off my meeting with Beau, you know?”
“Yeah, I know. He truly doesn’t ask much of you. Not having met him, I can’t really judge, but he seems to treat you well. That’s all I want for you.”
JJ kissed Leary’s stomach. “Nothing is stopping us from picking up right here after lunch. You don’t go back to work until Tuesday. We have this entire long weekend to do nothing but this.”
“That sounds really nice.”
JJ lifted his gaze and stared up at Leary. “I love you more than life. You know that, right?”
“Of course. You know the same thing, right?”
JJ smiled. “Of course.” The doorbell rang, and a loud groan escaped JJ. “That would be July.”
“Early as always,” Leary agreed. “He’d better be glad I love him.”
JJ kissed Leary’s stomach and chuckled. “Even if you didn’t, you don’t have it in you to be mean.”
“That’s true.”
They went back to holding each other’s gaze. A spell weaved over JJ the way it always did with Leary.
The doorbell rang again. They shared a smile and rolled out of bed.
JJ might beg Leary to blow off July if they didn’t move now.
That wouldn’t ruin only July’s day. JJ had plans of his own.
The past year with Leary had been nothing but heaven.
He needed to get started on giving Leary the same energy for the rest of his life.
July held his breath as JJ drove through the gates of the Bosi compound. There were guards and security cameras everywhere. He imagined there were even more cameras he couldn’t see. His gaze shot in every direction.
“Wow! Everything is so pretty. Look at those roses.” He leaned between the front seats and focused on JJ. “Will they let me pick flowers?” July sat back, pouting. “They probably won’t. Everything looks super expensive. I imagine they don’t let anyone touch anything. A no-fun zone.”
JJ chuckled. “Don’t sulk. When we get inside, I’m sure Fletch will take you flower picking.”
July clapped. “Yay. I love flowers. That’s how I met Leary. He likes flowers too.”
After putting the car in park, JJ looked Leary’s way. “I didn’t know that. That’s something that sounds like a cute story.”
Leary took off his seatbelt and turned sideways in his seat. A bright smile lit his face. He turned animated in a way he only did for JJ. “If you think being covered in fertilizer is cute, then yes.”
July cackled.
Leary cut his eyes at July and laughed.
“Covered in fertilizer? What the hell?”
Leary nodded at JJ’s words. His smile never dimmed. He tipped his head in July’s direction. “This one was dancing with a huge pot of flowers inside the Avery greenhouse. He spun right into me with enough force to knock us both to the ground.”
July jumped in. “Oh my god. It was awful. We were both wearing white and the plastic flowerpot doohickey got smashed between us.”
Leary nodded. “They’d obviously just watered the flowers because that stuff mushed right between us, ruining our clothes.”
July chuckled. “I apologized profusely, and Leary drove me home to change. Then we went to his place so he could and we went to lunch.”
“We never stopped talking the entire time,” Leary added.
“Then we never stopped talking period.”
Leary nodded at July’s assessment. “A best friend was made.”
JJ wore a huge grin as he looked between them. “That’s awesome. I think that just goes to show how fate always finds a way.” He glanced toward the house. “I guess we’d better get inside. Beau’s waiting on me.”
July burst from the car like a kid on crack, singing, “I get to see Fle-etch. Let’s do this.
” He led the charge to the door as if he had any clue where he was going.
Fletch had never brought him here. His home had always been off-limits.
July wondered if Fletch would be happy to see him or if he would see this as July crossing a boundary of their friendship.
Surely he would be fine this one time. After all, he really hadn’t come here to see Fletch.
He was here with JJ and Leary. JJ just had a quick meeting with Beau, and then they were headed for lunch.
JJ stepped ahead of him and opened the door. The three of them made their way inside. Again, July looked in every direction. More guards. Tons of security. The place was more secure than the White House.
JJ paused in front of a set of double doors.
July had no idea where they led. They were only feet from the front door, so the location didn’t make sense.
He couldn’t even begin to sketch a home layout where they were logical.
Who could possibly need double doors right inside of double doors?
He mentally shrugged. The ultra-wealthy were odd ones.
Too much money led to rich-people decisions.
JJ focused on Leary and July. “Let’s stop in here real quick before I head to Beau’s office.”
No one questioned the decision. They were just along for the ride.
JJ opened both doors, exposing a room full of people mingling.
Confusion showed heavily on Leary’s face. His expression matched July’s thoughts. JJ was here for a quick meeting, and they were having a party?
The entire group turned their way. The room fell silent.
Leary leaned JJ’s way and lowered his voice to a stage whisper. “Are we interrupting something?”
JJ didn’t answer. He dug inside his pocket and pulled out a ring box.
July covered his mouth as JJ dropped to one knee, and he realized what was happening.
Leary stared down at him, wide-eyed with shock.
JJ looked nervous as hell as he opened the box. “You’re so fucking amazing. You choosing me was the best thing that’s ever happened in my life.”
“Yes.”
Everyone laughed.
A smile exploded across JJ’s face. “Do you plan to let me ask?”
Leary’s face turned beet red. “Oh, yeah. Sorry.”
JJ shot to his feet. “Fuck it. I’ll take any yes I can get.” He kissed Leary while everyone cheered, including July. Someone brought them champagne while JJ slid the ring onto Leary’s finger. July couldn’t look away from them. He kind of wanted to cry. Leary deserved all this and more.
“I can’t believe you did this.” Leary looked his way. “I can’t believe you were able to keep a secret.”
July chuckled. “Obviously, JJ knows me too well. I didn’t know either.”
All focus converged on the couple.
July’s cheeks ached from smiling, watching their happiness. He was thrilled beyond words. Ties to a crime family aside, JJ was perfect for Leary. No one could look at them and deny their love. They made July’s chest ache with jealousy.
