Chapter 19

Chapter Nineteen

Finn placed his hand on Hadley’s belly holding her still as he sucked her clit into his mouth. She squirmed and thrashed before gripping his hair in her hand. The band of her engagement ring scraped his scalp and he smiled into her pussy. He still couldn’t believe she was his.

“Daddy!” she cried.

Working two fingers into her dripping cunt, he finger-fucked her gently. She tightened around him before she detonated. He released her clit, pressed a kiss to her mound, and climbed up her body. Positioning his cock at her entrance, he entered her with one hard thrust.

“Umph, Daddy,” she cried. Her back arched in pleasure.

“I love you so much, Peeps,” he whispered against her neck.

“I love you, Daddy,” she answered, her voice breaking.

Finding out his little one was quick to orgasm had been a delight. Knowing she was close again, he reached between them and rubbed her clit before picking up his speed.

“Come for me again, baby. Let me send you to preschool with your little kitty so pleasured all you can do is think of Daddy all day.”

She threw her head back and her body spasmed in time with her pussy. Three thrusts later, Finn found his own orgasm and released his seed inside of her. He was so damn thankful she’d started birth control to regulate her period a few years earlier. Being inside his girl bare was a wonderful feeling.

“Daddy?” Hadley asked, sitting in the bath a little bit later.

“Yes, baby?”

“I talked last night.”

“You did,” he agreed.

“In front of everyone.”

“Yes, in front of everyone.” He thought he knew where this might be going.

“But I don’t want to talk to everyone today at school.”

He smiled and kissed her little nose. “You don’t have to, Peeps.”

“What if they think I’m faking?”

He finished washing her.

“Faking being nonverbal?”

Hadley nodded.

“Do you really think the friends who have been so kind to you these past nine days would really think you were faking?”

“No, Daddy,” she answered after a moment of reflection.

“Were you faking being nonverbal?”

“No, Daddy.”

“Are there a set of concrete rules for being nonverbal?”

“No, Daddy.”

“Do you think being nonverbal means you can’t say any words ever?”

“No, Daddy.”

“Do you think maybe what Noelle said to you is affecting your thoughts this morning?” he asked, setting the soapy cloth down, rinsing her, and pulling the plug on the tub.

“Yes, Daddy.”

He picked her up after drying her off and carried her to the changing table. “Sometimes when people do things to hurt us, we accidentally make other people pay for their actions. Do you think that maybe you’re projecting what Noelle would say onto your new friends?”

Hadley was quiet while he diapered her and then applied lotion to her skin.

“I think I was projecting, Daddy.”

“I think so too, Peeps. That’s a very normal thing to do, but I want you to try not to let Noelle’s ugly actions affect the way you see your friends, okay? They don’t deserve that, do they?”

“No, Daddy. They’re good friends.”

“That’s right and they will understand if you want to be silent today.”

“Thank you, Daddy.”

He kissed her mouth before lifting her off the table. “You can always talk to Daddy about what you’re worried about.”

“Will you?”

“Will I what, Peeps?”

“Share your worries with me?”

“I will. I will spend the rest of my life sharing everything with you.”

“Well, there’s the newly engaged couple,” Nanny J said when Finn and Hadley reached the Caterpillars Room that morning. “Congratulations. You two are the talk of the Ranch,” she said, pulling Hadley into a hug.

Hadley showed her the ring on her hand and Finn appreciated the way she oohed and ahhed over it.

Finn kissed Hadley goodbye before heading to breakfast with Derek. Using the texted instructions, he followed the tunnels down to the Big House where Derek and Sadie lived. Knocking on the big wooden door, Finn wondered what the Ranch Master wanted to meet about.

Derek opened the door and welcomed him inside. Sadie rushed down the stairs, but one look from Derek had her slowing her pace.

“Good morning, Master Finn.”

“Good morning, Sadie. Are you all ready for Santa?” he asked.

“Yes, Sir. Daddy took the day off so we could bake cookies to leave out tonight. He forgot the carrots, but Chef Connor promised to bring us some when he leaves the kitchen today.”

“Oh, well that was very nice of Chef Connor,” Finn said, chuckling.

“We’re glad you came today. We needed to talk to you about something really important.”

“Oh?” Finn asked.

“Sadie, can we get Master Finn some coffee and a seat before you accost him with your plan?”

“Sorry, Daddy. Would you like some coffee, Master Finn?”

“Well, if I am going to be accosted, I think yes, maybe I would like a cup or two.”

Sadie giggled and rushed off to the kitchen.

“Thank you for coming,” Derek said, leading Finn into the living room. “We did want to talk to you about something rather important, but Sadie got ahead of herself.”

“What is it?”

“We understand that it’s only you and Hadley, right? No other family?”

“My mom is alive, but not involved in our lives. Hadley has a few cousins, but again, not involved.”

“I imagine it’s hard to weed out who is just in it for her wealth, huh?”

Finn nodded. “Unfortunately.”

“Sadie has a heart of gold and as you know, she also has no family involved with her life. I think she just has a soft spot for people who don’t have family waiting for them back home.”

Finn nodded, still unsure of where this was going.

“Sadie feels like you two would like to get married sooner rather than later?”

Finn nodded. “We haven’t really talked about it, but yes, I am sure it will be soon. Probably just a quick ceremony.”

“And I feel like perhaps you’d like to keep it as stress-free as possible for Hadley?”

“Absolutely.”

Sadie walked in carrying a tray that held two cups of coffee, a pitcher of cream and a bowl of sugar. She set everything on the table and Sadie sat in a chair beside Derek.

“Did you ask him yet, Daddy?”

“I haven’t. I was going to give you the honors, sweetie.”

Finn was so curious as to what the sassy, Little minx had planned.

“We were wondering if you’d like to get married before you go. We have officiants here. We’ve obtained a marriage license in less time than this before. We have decorations, flower arrangements, whatever you need here already. It’s kind of a thing we’re really great about being able to pull off, but I don’t think I’ve ever approached it like this before,” Sadie explained, shedding her Little. “I know how hard it is to wish for a family and friends. I never had that until I came here and I’m so thankful we’ve been able to step up as a community. I just wanted you to know that we would also be honored to be your family at your wedding too. Whether that’s here or back in Georgia.”

Finn shook his head in disbelief.

“It’s hard to believe this place is real—that a community this tight exists,” he said.

Derek nodded. “My family opening this place was the best thing they ever did, and although I don’t think my great-grandfather three times over ever planned for it to be this big, I find a lot of joy in knowing he’d be pleased.”

“I would love for Hadley to be Mrs. Williams before we left, but we leave in five days. Can we pull that, an entire wedding, off in five days?”

Derek scoffed. “Have you heard of the Ranch magic?”

“I have. I have witnessed it a lot during our stay.”

“Do you want to know where it comes from?”

Finn nodded.

“It comes from the heart of every member of Rawhide Ranch near and far. Hearts that still believe there is still good in the world.”

“Hearts that believe everyone deserves their Happily Ever After,” Sadie added.

“Hadley definitely deserves a Happy Ever After,” Finn agreed.

“You do too, Master Finn,” Sadie said.

Finn smiled at her sincere words. “Let me talk to Hadley and we will let you know after lunch.”

“Most of the weddings take place here in the Big House. You’re welcome to use it. Eli and Georgie are extremely talented wedding planners on staff here. CJ is also a fabulous photographer who teaches at our university. We can show you some pictures of weddings in the past, and so many people will step in and help. You’ll really get to see the Christmas magic. Oh, and Daddy can officiate,” Sadie said, sounding very much like a grown up, despite wearing Christmas pajamas and pigtails with matching red bows.

Finn smiled. “We would be married in the Big House by Derek, should we decide to go through with this crazy plan… that I absolutely adore?”

“Yes, sir,” Sadie answered.

“Let me talk to my Little one about this and I will get back to you as soon as possible,” Finn said, his stomach flipping with anticipation.
