Chapter 16
Five Days Later…
It had been five days since Nice, and I had been on a high that I never imagined I’d be. While vacationing, I called my mother and told her where I was. I didn’t tell her who I was with, choosing to say I was on a mission and that I'd be back soon.
Hearing my Ring camera alert me that someone was on my property, I sauntered out of the living room to greet my guest. I opened my front door just as Messiah walked up the stairs. I was a nervous wreck and hated to feel this way.
He was meeting my mother today because she refused to not know the man who had been knocking my headboard loose since I met him. Since Paige had opened her big mouth, I had no choice but to make this meeting happen.
“Hey,” I greeted.
“What’s up, Juice?” he asked, grabbing two handfuls of my ass and kissing me deeply. I quickly pulled away, feeling myself getting horny.
“Please don’t call me that in front of my mom.”
“I would never. That nickname is only reserved for me.”
I shook my head and led him toward the kitchen, where Mooney had prepared a feast. Of course, I invited him to join us, since he and Paige were Messiah’s advocates, encouraging me to allow myself to like him. My mom was setting the table while Mooney placed the serving dishes on the table.
“Mommy, Mooney… this is Messiah Crawford. Messiah, this is my mom, Sabrina, and my good friend, Monroe.”
My mom smiled widely, and I could tell she was impressed. “It’s good to finally meet you, Messiah. I’ve only heard a little about you, so I’m hoping I can get to learn more while we dine over this delicious food Mooney has made.”
“Of course. I’d love to get to know my new mother-in-law.” Messiah smiled.
“Please stop,” I said, cringing at the thought of marriage. I may have acquiesced to allow him access to the inner me, but marriage?
“Let that man say what he wants, sis,” Mooney said, placing a pitcher of juice on the table.
“Shut up, Mooney, before you become homeless.”
“Let’s all just have a seat, shall we?” my mom suggested, and we all sat down.
Moms said a prayer over the meal, then we began to load our plates with the creamy chicken Alfredo, lobster tails with lemon butter sauce, and poached salmon.
“You cooked this?” Messiah asked Mooney.
He nodded. “It’s very seldom that I get to show off my culinary skills since Evermean stands clear of a house being dropped on her.” I kicked him under the table. “Ouch! Why you kick me for telling the truth?” He chuckled.
“Stop calling me that shit.”
“See… just mean.”
“Arie, stop abusing this man,” Sabrina reprimanded. “Messiah, not trying to be nosy, but I have one or a few questions to ask.”
“You can ask me anything, Mrs. Sabrina. I’m here for you to get to know me.”
My mom smiled. “What do you do for a living?”
“I own a Fortune 500 company where we supply medicines to pharmacies across the metro area. We’ve just recently expanded into Georgia and California. Looking to grow even bigger by this time next year.”
“Okaay. Come through long-term goals!” my mom jested.
Messiah chuckled while I looked at Sabrina acting differently. She was loving this. However, I didn’t know if I liked it.
“That’s what’s up, bro. I’m like a jack of all trades. I do a little bit of everything you can think of. My parents used to tell me they thought I had ADHD because I can never focus on one thing, but I beg to differ. I think all of us have a little ADHD in us.” Mooney chuckled.
“What is your job here again? I just need to know if I have to worry about you living here with my girl.”
I sucked my teeth. “The verdict is still out on if I’m your girl… we’re just friends,” I lied. I wanted to be his girl, but I couldn’t help but pretend we weren’t that way.
He winked. “We won’t be for long.”
Mooney chuckled. “Trust me, brother, Arie is not my type. I like my women soft and nice. Arie’s like a Warhead, sour as hell until she becomes sweet, but still leaves a sour taste in your mouth.”
I flipped him the bird as Messiah chuckled. “I’m working hard on changing that.”
“My baby is sweet; she’s just been taught to always be one way.
I hate that her father made her out to be this villain and to be so violent.
I understood his reasoning, though. In their line of work, she had to make sure she wasn’t a pushover.
I’m hoping you can get the job done, Messiah. Arie deserves to love and be loved.”
“What is love, Mommy? From what I know, love hurts. Hence, you and Daddy. Love leaves you, hurts you, or gets you in a mess that you can’t get out of.”
“Your father and I still love each other. Unfortunately, he had to go away, so yes, that does hurt, but he didn’t leave me purposely.”
“I just don’t want to give my heart to someone, and they end up breaking it. That wouldn’t be good for either party.”
“I’m going to help you get to that point. I think you know how much I’m feeling you, and how I don’t care about your attitude. It only makes me want to peel back those layers to see the beauty I know that’s inside of you.”
I stared at Messiah, not knowing if he was being genuine or not. He had proved to me that he wasn’t letting up on me. I guess it was up to me to see if I wanted that with him or not.
“Yes, apply a little pressure, baby. She needs it,” my mom advocated as I shook my head.
The dinner went on with my mom asking her hosts of questions, and giggling her life away.
I was feeling uneasy because they were bonding so beautifully.
Messiah wasn’t a bad guy, but I knew he had a dark side to him that I wanted him to reveal.
Shit, I wanted him to turn up on my ass to see how far I had to push him to get that beastly side of him.
After my mom left and Mooney went to do whatever his ass was doing with a new thot he’d met, I took Messiah out back to meet my girls.
I’d built them a house in the backyard and made it like a doggy play place.
They were in doggy heaven because they had everything they could ever want and need, and they were extremely spoiled.
“You better not be trying to feed me to your dogs, Juicy.”
I smirked at him. “What ever do you mean?”
“I’m not above shooting the shit out of them.”
“You better leave my dogs alone. They are harmless until I tell them not to be.” I opened the door, and we walked inside. Immediately, my girls stood in place, on guard.
“Relax, ladies. I want you all to meet someone. I guess y’all can be nice to him,” I jested, reaching up in the cabinet for their doggy treats and handing them over to Messiah. “You can do the honors.”
“I ain’t scared of ya dogs, shorty.” He took the bag from my hand and walked over to my girls. They growled, but he didn’t seem fazed. He snapped his fingers in a rhythm and started singing “No Woman, No Cry” by Bob Marley and The Wallers, and they easily began to calm.
Shock resonated on my face while I continued to watch him interact and feed them. “Reggae?” I questioned.
“I used to watch this dog show, and they said if dogs are dealing with stress, anxiety, and a few other things, reggae, soft rock, and classical music calms them.”
“Hmph… Learn something new every day.”
“That is true. I learned something new about you today.” He looked up at me from his squatting position, smirking, per usual.
“Oh yeah? What’s that?”
“You like me… a lot.”
“How you figure that?”
“You invited me to meet ya moms. That says a lot. It means you like me beyond that front you put on.”
“She demanded to meet you because Paige opened her big mouth. Don’t flatter yourself because you probably would have never met her if it were up to me.” I sassed.
He stood and stepped closer to me. “Tell me I’m lying.”
His deep voice, his dark, lustful, sexy-ass eyes, and that fucking signature leer he always gives like he knows he’s the shit, sent a signal to my pussy.
The bitch never acts right around this nigga.
Even when I think I’m in control, she proves to me every time that I’m not. And it wasn’t just my pussy that was weak for this man; my heart was doing some funny shit too.
“Let’s go,” I told him, walking over to my babies. “Goodnight, girls. It seems like you all are betraying me too.” I rubbed and kissed their heads, then headed out the door with the pussy slayer following close behind me.
Once we made it back inside, I turned on some music and grabbed a deck of cards, the tin of dominoes, Jenga, Connect Four, and Trouble from my game closet.
“How about we make this night a little interesting…” I said, smiling at him while he took a seat on the couch. “We’re going to play a series of five games.”
“You can’t see me in none of those games, baby. I wouldn’t even make such a wager if I were you.”
“You swear you can’t lose shit.”
“I can’t. Even when I lose, I’m winning.” He winked at me.
“Okay, then let’s make a bet. Best out of the five. If you win, I’ll do whatever you want me to do. If I win, I want you to strip for me.”
“I don’t dance, shorty.”
I shrugged. “Doesn’t matter.”
“You get a front row seat of niggas dancing at your club every night, you don’t need me.”
“Fuck them niggas. I want to see you dance. If you’re scared, I understand.” I smiled as he smiled back.
“A’ight, fuck it. I ain’t never backed down from a challenge. If you lose, you do the same.”
“Bet.” I held out my palm and he took it, kissing my hand.
“Prepare to make that ass clap, mamas.”
I laughed as we decided to play Jenga first. We tossed back shot after shot and continued to vibe as we played through the games.
I tried to distract him by feeling him up, but he was too focused on winning that he didn’t know I was cheating when we started playing poker.
We were tied in two games. He won Jenga and Trouble, and I won dominoes and poker.
The only game left to play was Connect Four, and I knew for a fact I was going to win.
And I did.
I drunkenly shouted, “Take them clothes off, homie!”
“You cheated.”
“Just a lil’ bit.” I giggled; something I found myself doing a lot around him.
“I would have taken my clothes off without the games, Juicy. If you wanted to see me naked, you could have just said that.”
“Nahh, I want you to tease me.” I pulled out the chair sitting next to the fireplace and placed it in the center of the living room. I dimmed the lights, then took a seat. Scrolling through my playlist, I asked, “What song do you want to dance to?”
“Give me this shit.” He snatched my phone, and I sat smiling, feeling triumphant.
Jodeci’s “Freek’n You” queued as he slowly walked toward me. His body rolled as he thrust his hips while sliding off his shirt. His moves were subtle and surprisingly tasteful. As if I weren’t already wet from earlier when he aroused me, I had a damn tsunami in my panties now.
“Whoa!” I yelped when he lifted me from the chair, making me wrap my legs around his neck.
I could feel him planting kisses on my inner thighs.
He then placed me on the couch and removed the rest of his clothes in slow motion, until he was down to his briefs.
His dick print looked like it was ready to burst through and attack me.
I leaned forward, sliding them down, and swirling my tongue around the head of it.
He drew in a sharp breath when I took him into my mouth. I moved my head to the music, stopping ever so often to suck his balls.
Drunk shit .
I’d never sucked a nigga’s balls before. There was just something about this dick and the man that it was attached to that made me step outside of myself and do things I’d never done before. I wanted to cut his dick off and put it in my purse for emergency purposes.
“Shit, Juice… You trying to pull a hundred K out my account?”
“A hundred K? Nah, let’s make it a million.”
“Done.”
I laughed as he ripped my clothes off and proceeded to blow my damn mind.
I didn’t know what the future held for me with this man. All I knew was that nobody was getting this dick or him as long as we both shall live.
