Chapter Fifteen
Laurie
The sound of singing woke me.
I lay in bed listening to the strains of music drifting in from the kitchen, trying to figure out what Theo was playing. His singing was patchy and accompanied by the clatter of pans, so I assumed he was making breakfast. I needed to get up, but I was too content just lying there and listening.
I wondered if things would be different between us this morning, but there was no way to know until I went to find him.
Yesterday had been amazing and I had to hope that Theo felt the same way I did. The singing was a good indicator he might.
The song changed again and I recognised it as a K-pop song that Theo had been obsessed with for the past few weeks.
I smiled to myself and closed my eyes, just listening, replaying every detail of the previous evening.
We’d have to clean up the bathroom at some point, but that could come later.
For now, I just wanted to revel in my memories.
“Laurie!” The bedroom door swung open and before I’d moved, there was a thump and the mattress dipped violently as Theo bounced onto the bed, flinging himself into my arms and almost head-butting me in the process. “Oops, sorry!”
“It’s fine,” I said, opening my eyes to find Theo wrapped around me. He was looking up at me with bright eyes and a brilliant smile, and it made my heart flutter wildly. “You didn’t break anything.”
“That’s good. It would suck if we had to rush you to the nurse because I’d broken your nose. Jonathan would never let me live it down.”
“Neither would I.”
He shook his head. “You would. You’d forgive me immediately because you’re the best person ever and I’m too cute to stay mad at. Plus, I made breakfast, so that’d make up for everything.”
“I don’t think it would, but since you didn’t break my nose, I’m not sure it matters.”
Theo smiled at me again and I couldn’t resist the temptation to reach down and caress his face, drawing him towards me.
He came willingly, melting against me as I kissed him.
All my worries about it being awkward or different between us disappeared as if they’d been banished like a faceless monster by the morning sun.
“Good morning,” I whispered against his lips before kissing him again.
“Good morning,” he said, kissing my nose and giggling. “Do we have to get up?”
“At some point. It’s Monday and we have work.”
Theo sighed dramatically. “Stupid work. Can we just call in sick and stay in bed all day? I’m sure our boss wouldn’t mind.”
“Unfortunately, he might.”
“I bet I could convince him not to,” Theo said, swinging his leg across my body and straddling me in one smooth movement. He was wearing a tiny satin nightie with lace across the bottom. It barely covered anything when he sat like this, but I wasn’t going to complain.
“Besides, I really think he could do with taking a break.” Theo circled his hips, grinding teasingly down on my crotch. His smile was sweet and mischievous—he knew exactly what he was doing and how much trouble he was. I knew I should stop him, but my resistance was thinner than gossamer.
My hands slid up Theo’s thighs, resting under the hem of his nightie. “I thought you’d made breakfast?”
“I have, but it’s not on at the moment. Nothing’s going to burn if we don’t get up for a while.”
“What time is it?” I asked, trying to pretend I had objections. But we both knew I’d already given in.
“Not even seven,” Theo said as he reached for the bottom of his nightie, grasping it in his fingers and pulling it off over his head, then dropping it on the bed next to us.
I stared at him, trying to memorise every detail of his beauty.
Theo was always stunning whatever he was wearing, but there was something special about seeing him nude.
There was a gentle softness to his body and an undeniable strength and confidence that radiated from his very soul. Theo knew he was beautiful, and he embraced his body and his desires with the whole force of his being. It captivated me in a way that nothing else ever had.
I would give him everything—my body, my heart, my soul—if he asked for it and never want anything in return.
I slid my hands farther up his thighs until they rested near his hips. Between his legs, Theo had already started to grow hard.
“What do you want?” I asked. My voice wavered and Theo smiled dangerously.
He’d thrown me completely off balance, but I didn’t mind him having the upper hand this time.
I’d just have to learn to get a hold of myself whenever Theo was naked, or my beautiful, demanding brat would walk all over me whenever he wanted something.
I didn’t completely trust him not to strip off whenever he wanted to distract me or avoid doing something.
He’d never do any housework again.
“That depends,” Theo said, starting to slowly circle his hips again and grind down on my lap. My cock swelled under his ass, and Theo smirked. “What are you comfortable with? Communication and consent are important, even if we’re… us, and we know each other inside out.”
I nodded, my thumb drawing small circles on his skin. “Very true.” I thought back to last night, memories rising unbidden. “I want to see you come again. You look so beautiful when you come.”
“I’m definitely down for that. But only if you come too.”
“I was planning on it.”
“You should say that next time.” Theo trailed his fingers down my bare chest, tracing the lines of the butterfly tattoo on my abdomen. He’d once called it my reverse tramp stamp and I’d never been able to look at it the same way since.
“Okay, I will.” I slid one hand farther up his body until I was lightly gripping his hip. I didn’t want to stop him from moving; I just wanted to feel the way his body moved under my hand. “How would you like to come? Do you want a repeat of last night? Hand jobs? Blow jobs? Or…”
Was it too soon to suggest penetration? Would that be skipping too many stages?
I knew some people valued spontaneity in their sexual encounters, but I’d always been the sort of man who largely liked to have the basics all laid out before we started.
Perhaps it was because some of my relationships and hook-ups had been more on the kinky side, with the involvement of everything from toys to restraints and shibari, impact play, edging, and even orgasm denial and cock cages, and none of those were things to use lightly or on a whim.
Everything had to be agreed upon and, at times, discussed in detail to a very specific level. I didn’t know if Theo would ever be interested in exploring anything like that, because what Theo was into in real life might be completely different to what he filmed.
“Can I ride you?” Theo asked as his fingertips brushed under the hem of the pyjama bottoms I’d thrown on last night. “I want to feel you inside me.”
“Yes,” I said without hesitation. “Yes, you can ride me.”
“Good.” He grinned, obviously ecstatic about getting what he wanted. “Do you want me to grab a condom?”
I thought for a second. I knew Theo was on PrEP and regularly tested for STIs, and he made sure everyone he filmed with did the same. I also knew he’d been tested recently because he’d told me when he got the results. Theo didn’t understand the concept of oversharing.
Then again, it was us and oversharing was just something we did. We very rarely kept things back from each other.
“No, I’ll be okay without one if you are.”
Theo leant down and kissed me with so much emotion that it floored me. “I am. Thank you for trusting me.”
“Always, my darling. Always,” I said, brushing hair away from his face before kissing him again.
“Do you have lube? Please tell me you have lube?”
“I do. In the bedside table.”
Theo sat up and attempted to stretch across the bed to reach it, but it was slightly too far and he toppled out of my lap and onto the mattress beside me with a laugh and a soft thump. “Fuck! I thought I could get it.”
I chuckled. “Are you hurt?”
“Nope. Only my pride.” He picked himself up and shimmied over to the edge of the bed, throwing me an expectant look over his shoulder. “Why are you still dressed? Are you going to make me wait even longer?”
“I’m sorry,” I said sarcastically, shooting him a wry smile as I pulled off my pyjama bottoms, exposing my aching cock to the cool morning air. “I didn’t realise I was keeping you from something.”
Theo rolled his eyes and turned back to the small bedside table, rummaging around in the top drawer for the bottle of lube I kept in there. “Duh, your dick! Besides, if we take too long, you’ll be boring and insist we stop and get up for work.”
I shook my head, reaching out to swat his thigh gently, making Theo squeal. “Don’t be such a brat.”
“Or what?”
“Or I’ll punish you.”
Theo turned, a heated, mischievous gleam in his eyes as he crawled back across the bed. “That sounds fun.”
I chuckled. “Only you would think punishment is fun.”
“Come on,” he said as he straddled my lap again. His skin was so hot it almost burned, and my cock twitched as he wiggled his ass against it. “It’s not like you’d actually punish me. And if you did, it would just be fun things.”
I raised my eyebrow. I was definitely going to have my hands full with Theo, but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I didn’t want him to change just because we’d started having sex. “Is that a challenge, my darling?”
“Obviously.” Theo leant down to kiss me, laughing against my mouth. God, I could get drunk on his laughter. “But not for now, for later.”
“Yes,” I said, running my hands down his spine and cupping his beautiful, pert bottom. “Later.”
We didn’t speak much then. All we did was kiss and touch, exploring each other’s bodies with our mouths and fingers. Theo had been right that time was short, but that didn’t mean we had to speed through the moment like a bat out of hell.
