Chapter 3 The Alley
After closing the distance, I saw that the pants Hanyang wore looked old, washed pale, and a little small. They could not even cover his ankles in late autumn.
At this time Hanyang should have been in his first year of college. Why was he wandering around in a high school uniform?
I frowned.
Before I could think further, Hanyang pinched my cheek and forced my lowered head up to meet his eyes.
"Were you staring at your dad just now? Asking for a beating?"
I: "..."
He really was like a mad dog.
I tugged at the corner of my mouth.
The growing pain on my face pulled me out of my memories. The face in front of me overlapped with Hanyang's.
Eighteen-year-old Hanyang looked a little more youthful than before. He was not as tall as he would become, but the fierceness in him had not lessened at all.
"Are you fucking mute?"
Looking at the person I had missed for years, I held back my nature and reached out to hug him.
Perhaps because he was too shocked, Hanyang did not push me away at once. He just stood there stunned.
My hands roamed over him. He was far too thin now. I could feel bones with every touch, hard and nothing like the feel of the later Hanyang.
Only then did Hanyang react. He yanked me off him. "Are you crazy!"
My gaze left the zipper I had rubbed open and stopped on Hanyang's opening and closing lips.
"I'll keep you. How about it? How much do you want a month? Five hundred thousand? One million?"
Hanyang's expression froze for a moment. Soon he flung me aside as if he had touched something dirty.
"Fuck. Disgusting."
With that, Hanyang turned to leave.
I grabbed his wrist at once. "Where are you going? Didn't you just ask if I needed a beating?"
"To be honest, I do need one. Can you hit me?"
Hanyang paused, his face blank. Then he laughed.
"I really ran into a lunatic."
Hanyang led me into a hidden alley. He tossed his backpack aside and shook his wrist at me.
"I'll tell you in advance that I don't hold back. You'd better protect your head. Don't come crying to me when your teeth fall out."
I copied him and rolled my wrists. "If I win, how about you kiss me?"
Hanyang's face darkened further. He pointed at my nose and cursed, "I think your brain is really sick! Say one more word and see if I don't cripple you!"
With that, he raised his hand and swung at my face.
I had no time to react. A punch landed on my face, and soon I was tangled with Hanyang.
