4. Chapter 4
Daphne
“Girls! Breakfast. You have five minutes to get your butts down here before those butts become hot and sore,” Uncle Liam yelled up the stairs at them.
Daphne was in her ensuite bathroom, just staring at herself in the mirror, mindlessly brushing her hair.
She was unsure how she even ended up here in this town and in this family, but she wasn’t going to question it.
She had a roof over her head, a friend who was genuine, and an uncle who took such great care of her.
She heard her best friend squeak and run down the stairs, grimacing at the telltale sounds of palm meeting flesh and even louder shouts.
Running in the house was definitely against the rules and would end you in hot water every time.
Over the last few weeks she had been there, she frequently got scared and overwhelmed at the possibility of them kicking her out of the house.
They were married and were gracious enough to let her live there where she felt safe.
Her ex-husband had really done a number on her.
The bruises and broken bones had long faded, but the emotional scars never would, she feared.
She wasn’t sure how to heal from all of her trauma, the hits that never seemed to stop.
She could never seem to do anything right.
She was always in the way, always making mistakes and making him angry.
She wasn’t sure how long she had been standing there, but she was startled when she heard a deep voice from behind her.
“Was there something about my instructions you didn’t understand, Daphne Erin?” He crossed his muscular arms over his chest, a move that made her belly do flips. His sleeves were already rolled up to his elbows, revealing his tattooed forearms and hands that were hard as paddles.
“No, Sir. I’m sorry, Uncle Liam.” Tears were already in her eyes, her throat burned.
Holding his hand out, she sighed and put her hand in his. Leading her to the chair in the corner of her bedroom, he pulled her to stand between his legs. His strong hands gripped her hips, holding her steady, acting as an anchor for her nerves.
“You were so in your head, you didn’t even hear me come in. What’s going on in that beautiful brain of yours?” His thumbs gently stroked her thighs, preventing her from backing away.
“I don’t wanna talk about it.” She huffed and pouted. “I know I’m getting a spanking, so can you just hurry up and get it over with?”
At the raise of his eyebrow, she knew she had fucked up. She looked at the ceiling, tears beginning to fall down her cheeks.
“Go and bring me your hairbrush, young lady.” Uncle Liam’s voice was firm and unyielding. She hated being forced to fetch the implement he was going to use to paddle her bottom.
“No, no, no, no, no, Uncle Liam! I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to be so sassy. Please not the hairbrush. Please, no.” She was dancing from foot to foot, her hands behind her back, protecting her bottom, her eyes pleading.
“1….2…don’t make me get to 3, young lady. You will be very sorry.” He paused a beat as she continued to beg and plead for mercy. Shaking his head, he said, “3.”
She grabbed at him, pushing his shoulder to keep him in place.
“Please, Uncle Liam!” Her voice was loud and whiny, but he was unflappable.
Once he decided that a spanking was warranted, there was no changing his mind.
He pinned her with a stern look and got up to fetch the hairbrush from the top of her dresser.
She had enough self-preservation to stay where she was, not wanting to making it any worse for herself.
He sat down and drew her over his knee. She felt him pull her shorts and panties to her knees, squealing as the cool air hit her skin.
“Uncle Liam, please. I’m so, so sorry. So sorry!
I didn’t mean to be sassy! Please don’t s-spank me.
I didn’t mean to be a bad girl.” She collapsed over his knee, tears streaming down her face.
“You are not a bad girl, Daphne. You just made a naughty choice and my job as your uncle is to remind you to use your manners and not be sassy. You are going to get your bottom soundly spanked and then we will go down and join Kiera for breakfast.” Not giving her a chance to respond, the brush landed on her bare bottom with a loud thwack that echoed in her room.
She howled in pain as the brush hit her bottom over and over again.
She never could keep count of the swats.
They came too hard and too fast. The only thing she could focus on was the pain in her bottom.
Hot, searing swats rained down all over her bottom, thighs, and sit spots, that special place where her bottom met her thighs.
He paddled her bottom with the hairbrush until she laid limply across his knee, sobbing her heart out.
When he was done, he rubbed her bottom, shushing her softly.
Before long, she was curled up in his arms, clinging to his comforting embrace.
She hated spankings, but the aftercare always made her feel loved and cherished.
She wasn’t Little like Kiera, but she wanted a Daddy too.
She loved Kiera and would never judge her for how she and her Daddy lived their lives, but she hoped to be older, to have more freedoms and not have to have so many rules.
When her breathing settled, she sat up and looked at her uncle. “I’m sorry, Uncle Liam, please don’t hate me.”
He gasped, his eyes growing wide. “Daphne! I could never hate you. There is nothing you could ever do that would make me hate you. Come here.” And just like that, the tears started all over again. She couldn’t stop crying.
“Ok, Daphne, take a breath. You’re going to hyperventilate if you don’t breathe. Come on, sweetheart. Match my breath. Slow and deep. That’s a good girl.” His soothing words calmed her until her breathing evened out.
“When you came up here, I was just thinking about how lucky I am to have found you and Kiera. My ex-husband and supposed friend group broke me. I didn’t think I would ever find people who would care about me.
I got anxious—again—that you guys were going to get bored with me or want me to leave and then I would have no one again. ”
A gasp from the door got both of their attention.
“We would never make you leave. Not in a million, bazillion, mazillion years!” Kiera looked so taken aback, it nearly shattered her soul.
“In fact, Daphne Erin, you are stuck with us and you’re never allowed to leave.
I won’t allow it.” She plopped down on her bottom in the doorway.
Her arms were crossed over her chest and her scowling face made Liam chuckle.
“Babygirl, what if she meets her own Daddy or Mommy and moves in with them?”
“She’s not allowed to. She has to stay here forever. Her Daddy can move in here because she’s not allowed to leave me.” When the tears started streaking down her best friend’s face, Daphne got up and tackled her friend in the biggest hug.
“I will never leave you. Even if I meet a Mommy or Daddy, staying here in this town close to you will be a requirement and I won’t allow them to take me away from here. I promise.” She was serious about that promise.
“Pinky promise?” Her best friend spoke in a quiet Little voice, holding up her pinky to her.
“Pinky promise.” They linked pinkies, kissed their hands, and giggled at each other.
“Ok, my girls, now that it’s settled that no one is going anywhere, let’s go get some breakfast.” Taking their hands, Uncle Liam led them to the kitchen to fill their bellies up with waffles, eggs, and bacon.
“Daddy, can I have chocolate milk, please?” Kiera was wiggling in her highchair.
“Ooooo, chocolate milk sounds so yummy. Uncle Liam, can I have some too, please?” She wiggled on her chair in excitement at the prospect of the chocolatey beverage.
“Yes, my girls, you can. Thank you both for using your manners.” Filling up a sippy cup for Kiera and a regular cup for her, he filled their plates and his, and they dug in.
“You make the best waffles, Uncle Liam. Thank you for fixin’ breakfast.” She beamed at him, happily munching away on the delicious meal.
When they were all done, they got cleaned up, and she did her chores of loading the dishwasher and wiping down the counters while Kiera put the trash in the trashcan and pushed in all the chairs around the table.
“Now that breakfast is over, I have a fun day planned for us.” Both girls sat on the couch, wiggling and clapping their hands.
“Ok, wiggle worms. How would you like to go riding today? Uncle Eamon invited us up today to ride and I thought it would be fun if we took him up on that. What do you think?”
Kiera screamed so loud, Daphne was startled. “Yes! I love riding and I want to ride my pony, Daddy. Oh yes, please!”
“I can always stay here and you all can ride. I can go to the library or I can even just read in my room. But I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to go.”
Kiera looked sad, and Uncle Liam looked confused. “Why wouldn’t you want to come with us?”
“I promise I am not talking bad about myself.” She knew how much trouble she got in when she did.
“But I’m not exactly small. And I don’t mean like Kiera small, I mean small enough to ride.
I used to ride when I was skinnier, so I know the 20% rule of horses and the last time I weighed myself…
well let’s just say that I would never get on a horse, it would be inhumane.
” She sighed, feeling more vulnerable than she ever had in her life.
“Well, that’s just silly talk. These horses are so super strong, they carry my Daddy all the time with no issues.” Kiera giggled.
She snorted. “Maybe so, but I weigh more than you and your Daddy combined, so I still don’t think I should go. But you guys go and have fun.” She tried to smile, to not let the tears that were looming fall, but her smile was sad.
Uncle Liam was kneeling at her feet, gently holding her hands.
“I want you to listen to me very carefully, Daphne Erin. You are curvy, yes. But you are not too big to ride a horse. Some horses, maybe, but not Uncle Eamon’s horses.
You are not too heavy to sit on my lap; you are not too heavy to go over my knee for a spanking; you are not too heavy, period.
You are curvy and beautiful, inside and out.
I know other people haven’t been kind to you, but I am telling you the truth.
” He captured her head in his hands and brought her forehead to his.
“And you definitely do not weigh more than me, I promise.”
“I strongly disagree, but I’m not going to fight you and I sure as shit am not going to weigh myself.” She slapped her hands over her mouth, her eyes growing wide.
He narrowed his eyes. “Do you need to eat soap before we head to Uncle Eamon’s?”
She shook her head so hard she made herself dizzy.
“That was your one freebie. Curse again and you will have a sore bottom and a mouth full of soap. Understood?”
“Yes, Uncle Liam. I’m sorry.” She hung her head, embarrassed she had gotten in trouble yet again.
“It’s ok. You’re not in any trouble. But I told Uncle Eamon that we would come to his estate at 10 a.m. for a ride.
We’re going to have a picnic at the top of the ridge.
It’s beautiful up there; you will love it, I promise.
” He patted her hip, and they all stood up.
“Go get dressed in jeans and boots. Kiera, go and get your diaper bag.”
With the orders delivered, the girls scattered to do as they were told.
Daphne put on her favorite jeans and her pink books.
She loved these boots. Uncle Liam had gotten them custom made to fit her larger calves.
She loved how much he took care of her. He always made sure that she had clothes that fit her body, that she loved and was comfortable in.
Kiera never made her feel less than because of her body and loved her, no matter what.
She was learning to love herself as she was, but it was a process.
They piled in the car and headed down the road.
They drove out of the small town, past the ski resort, and turned down a gravel road.
It took about twenty minutes to drive the curvy mountain roads but it was a gorgeous drive.
The mountains stood tall on both sides and it was as though they were climbing straight up the mountain.
The road led them to a guardhouse with armed guards and her eyes grew wide.
“W-where are we? Why do they have guns? Are we safe?” She rattled off questions, a small hand touched her arm, and she jerked towards her, her eyes big as saucers.
“We’re 100% safe, Daphne, I promise. Daddy would never take me somewhere where I wasn’t safe. Uncle Eamon has a lot of security because he’s in the mafia. Well, he’s not in the mafia; he kinda is the mafia.”
“The mafia!” She screamed so loud the guards looked startled.
“Sweetheart, it’s ok. I promise you are safe.” Uncle Liam drove through the gates, her breath getting shallower and shallower. She was clawing at her chest; she couldn’t breathe.
Stopping the car, Uncle Liam got out and came to her door. Pulling it open, he grabbed her and squeezed her tight. The pressure was supposed to calm her down.
“I need you to breathe, Daphne. Right now, young lady.” His harsh words snapped her out of her panic and she sucked in a full breath.
“That’s a good girl. Keep breathing for me.
Just like that. In and out. You’re ok, you’re safe.
” His words of encouragement and physical touch brought her to a place of calm.
He continued to hug her tight, encouraging her and speaking soothing words.
Kiera was crying, and Uncle Liam leaned over to grab her hand. “Kiera, babygirl, it’s ok. She’s ok. We’re all ok.”
“I’m not o-ok, Uncle Liam. You have to take me away from here.
They can’t find me. They’ll kill me if they do.
Please, Uncle Liam, you have to believe me.
” Her pleading eyes searched his, and her grip on his shirt tightened.
She needed him to understand the urgency of her request. She couldn’t be here or she would die.
