Chapter 18 Vegas, baby! #2
The group ignored the loud intruder. Tyler put away the rest of his chips into his pocket.
No more bets.
“Looks like these beautiful ladies have something to do with it. Maybe they’re telling you how to bet! How ‘bout it sweetheart? You wanna whisper to me what to bet on too?” the man asked, grabbing Nicki by the arm, which Tyler caught in his periphery.
Immediate regret.
Tyler swung around from his chair and pummelled the man with his fist in one shot. Grounded instantly.
Tommy leaped at Tyler to stop him from continuing, so that they don’t get kicked out.
“Touch my woman one more time! I fucking dare you!” Tyler roared to the man on the ground, held back by Tommy.
“Alright, I’m sorry!” the man mumbled from behind his hands over his mouth.
“Come on, let’s go, baby,” Nicki said, pressing up against Tyler, now sandwiched between her and Tommy, redirecting his locked focus off of the man.
Tyler broke his gaze with Nicki in front of him, and kissed her lips, hard.
“Come on, let’s go get some air,” Tommy suggested.
“There’s a great rooftop bar at this hotel we can check out!” Tiffany exclaimed, stepping over the man on the floor into Tommy’s arms.
“Good idea, honey,” Tommy replied, guiding her into him.
“Let’s take him with us so I can throw him off the roof,” Tyler said.
Nicki squeezed his side and directed him away, toward the elevators.
As soon as the doors shut and the elevator ascended, the brothers burst out laughing.
“Honestly, you two are bi-polar, I can’t keep up!” Tiffany said.
“Trust me, I still can’t get used to it. One minute they’re beating each other up, the next minute they’re punching someone else for touching their brother,” Nicki added.
“Yeah, well, no one fucking touches our women. Or my brother,” Tyler announced sternly. “Only I can beat the shit out of him,” he added and grabbed Tommy, pushing him against the wall of the elevator, laughing.
“That’s it. I didn’t want to make you look bad in front of the girls, but you asked for it,” Tommy said and curled some hard upper cuts into Tyler’s torso. They both laughed but the mutual tussle was aggressive.
The girls held up their purses against their heads and winced toward the elevator wall until it finally opened at the roof top terrace. The brotherly beat down stopped but their laughter didn’t.
“Honestly, we can’t take them anywhere,” Nicki said.
“It’s like babysitting children,” Tiffany added.
Tyler put his arm around Tiffany, his mood now more playful. “I’m sorry for exposing that Tommy can’t fight for shit,” he said. “It must be so embarrassing for you. Don’t worry, Tiff, I’ll protect you from any creeps.”
“Hey!” Tommy quipped behind them, looking over at Nicki, deploying his dimples.
“Look at this view!” Nicki exclaimed.
Las Vegas boulevard lit up Earth like multi-colored diamonds sprinkled over the desert city.
“Wow!” she added.
“Vegas, baby! Woohoo!” Tiffany shouted.
The guys wrapped themselves around their girls, overlooking the stunning view; the first night of Las Vegas coming to an end as the clock struck midnight.
“Oh my God!” Nicki exclaimed.
“What? What?” Tyler asked, worried.
“It’s midnight! It’s officially your birthday! Awww, happy birthday, baby!” Nicki shouted, turning around to face him. She wrapped her hands around the back of his neck and leaned up to kiss him on the lips.
“Mmmm, thank you, my angel,” Tyler said, lifting her up and kissing her again with a spin.
“I love you, my darling,” she whispered.
“I love you more than anything, angel,” Tyler said.
“Disgusting!” Tommy quipped.
“Oh, leave them alone, they’re so cute!” Tiffany said. “Plus, you know, I saw this coming!” she added proudly, watching them kiss with a smile and her head on a tilt.
“I know you did, you’re so smart, baby,” Tommy replied, kissing Tiffany on the cheek. “Alright, enough with the PDA, it’s gross! Drinks on me, let’s go!” Tommy shouted.
“Happy birthday, Tyler!” Tiffany shouted, giving him a hug when he finally released Nicki.
“Thanks, honey.”
“Happy birthday, you fucking asshole!” Tommy added, jumping to put his brother in a headlock.
Nicki and Tiffany rolled their eyes at each other and headed to the glamourous rooftop bar, overlooking the sparkling strip. The shots flowed and the two couples continued their fun on the 35th floor, in between the lights from below and the stars up above.
The morning was painful. But the excitement of the plans for the day got everyone up and willing to challenge themselves by continuing in the Las Vegas spirit, celebrating Tyler’s birthday.
“Take! My! Fucking! Cock!” Tyler shouted through his teeth to Nicki riding him hard.
“Baby!” she shouted at the ceiling.
He flipped her around effortlessly and pounded into her, hard, until she screamed with ecstasy.
“Aaaaaaah!”
“Mmmmm, that’s my good fucking girl!” he shouted. “My fucking turn. Uuuuuuughhh!” he moaned, taking his cock out and streaming his hot jetting cream onto her torso.
“Fuck yes, look at you, so gorgeous with my come all over you,” he whispered, shaking off the last couple of drops onto her.
He collapsed beside her, breathing loudly with his hand on his chest.
“Mmmmmm, that was so good, baby. Nice way to start your birthday.” Nicki leaned over and kissed his cheek.
“I’m gonna go shower you off of me, just so you can do it all over again later,” she said with a wink and kissed him again.
Tyler was too defeated to even respond back.
She leaned against the sliding bathroom door, and glided her finger up along her stomach, collecting his lust from her skin, just to stroke the tip of her finger onto her tongue.
“Christ…” he managed.
She smiled and blew him a kiss in the air before she slid the bathroom door closed.
“I love you so much it hurts,” he whispered.
The resort pool was a perfect way to relax into the afternoon. Starting off with some mimosas and fruit platters in their private poolside cabana sure eased the mild hangovers they were all feeling.
“I don’t think I can drink anymore!” Nicki shouted, switching to a bottle of sparkling water.
“Nicki, don’t be a party pooper, it’s only noon,” Tommy said.
“Well, that’s just the thing! I can’t be a party pooper, I’m on my second mimosa!” she laughed back.
“Don’t listen to him, baby, drink whatever you want. In fact, I don’t want you drinking when we’re at the race track anyway,” Tyler said.
“I won’t argue with that, I need a break,” Nicki said.
“Yeah, you need a break from Tyler, mostly, that’s what’s making you not feel good,” Tommy joked.
“Pick a number between one and ten,” Tyler said to Tommy.
“Uh, six.”
“OK, so it’ll be six of your fucking fingers that I rip off and shove into your mouth so that you shut the fuck up.”
“Alright!” Tommy shouted back.
Nicki looked around at the calm blue pool and more hotel guests joining the peaceful lush resort, regaining their strength for a Saturday night in Las Vegas. A calm before the storm.
A group of obvious frat-boy bachelors established their place in a cabana across the pool. A group of young bikini-clad girls also made themselves comfortable not far away, setting up camp with their tanning oil and magazines.
One girl glanced over in Nicki’s direction and grimaced.
Nicki quickly reached for her bathing suit coverup and put it on. Her happy vacation face fell from the reminder of the visual effect of her scars. Third degree burns across the left side of her body didn’t exactly sell the #hotgirlsummer very well.
Tiffany noticed.
“Oh, hun, don’t cover up your scars. Forget that dumb girl,” Tiffany said delicately.
“If someone looked at you the wrong way, I’ll carve their eyes out. Which bitch was it?” Tyler asked.
“Oh, it’s fine, don’t worry about it, honey. She looked away now. I’m just spoiled with you, that’s all. Sometimes I forget I even have these scars.”
Nicki’s comment made Tommy swing his head over to her.
He looked at how happy she was, leaning down, kissing Tyler’s forehead as he lay on her legs.
Her fear of showing her scars had all but disappeared ever since they got together and it was like she was a new version of herself.
Brave. Confident. All loving, and loved Tyler even more than Tommy did.
Tommy’s heart tried its best to shed the last few layers of love for her. But it was hard. He struggled, especially when they were near each other.
The eagle-eyed Tiffany noticed Tommy’s gaze at Nicki’s preoccupation with his brother.
“Alright, bro, let’s go! Race track!” Tommy quipped, standing up.
“Nooo!” Nicki said, caressing Tyler’s head in her lap.
“We will celebrate when I get back. Here, take this off.” Tyler lowered the bathing suit cover up off of Nicki’s shoulders until it slipped off again. “Don’t ever be ashamed of your scars.”
He got up from the cabana bed, pulled Nicki close to him and held her up, wrapped against his body.
“I need to show these fuckers that you are mine so they don’t get any ideas,” he said, and kissed her hard.
Tommy stood by impatiently, eying them kissing. Deflated.
Tiffany observed his strange, hopeless look suspiciously.
“Have fun, my darling,” Nicki said when Tyler put her down.
“Please keep your phone on you. That’s all I ask,” he whispered.
“I will! I’ll see you later, birthday boy!”
The brothers left to go race super cars at the Nevada race track.
An event the girls couldn’t even pretend to be interested in.
But Nicki was happy they were getting to spend some much-needed bro-time together.
The sunny Vegas cabana pool day seemed like the obvious better choice for the girls, relaxing and tanning before Tyler’s big birthday dinner.
“I’m sorry but I have to ask,” Tiffany said after another margarita.
“Why is Tyler so crazy? Like he’s sweet and all, but don’t you think he’s a little too protective?
Don’t drink when I’m not here, keep your phone on you, and the way he parades you in front of other men, it’s gross!
God, he might as well pee all around our cabana to mark his territory. ”
