Chapter 39
H ow did she let them know that she wanted sex?
Well, that she wanted more than kisses and soft touches. That she was ready for . . . for firmer touches and deeper kisses.
Urgh.
She sounded like a moron.
It was Friday night and on Monday she’d had her appointment with her midwife and a checkup with her doctor. It had been embarrassing as hell, but she’d asked when she could start getting more intimate.
She wasn’t ready to be tied up and spanked or anything. Her ribs were still healing. But there was nothing wrong with her mouth.
She slapped her forehead with her hand.
Idiot.
Did she really just think that?
Was she so desperate to give them a blow job?
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Hell, yes.
“Did you just slap yourself?” Spencer asked .
She was curled up with him on the sofa, waiting for the other two to join them for movie night.
She could only guess that this wasn’t how they would normally spend a Friday night.
They were still spending a lot of time with her.
Surely they had to go back to work soon.
They couldn’t stay home with her all the time.
Slade was on his phone as he walked into the room carrying a bowl of popcorn. “Yeah, thanks, Church. Appreciate it. Bye.”
He ended the call as Rock walked in with some hot chocolate.
“Everything okay?” she asked.
Slade smiled, but it looked forced. “Of course it is, Boo. Why wouldn’t it be?”
Uh-huh.
She wasn’t buying that.
“What’s happening?” she asked.
“Just a few things at the club that Church wants me to sign off on. I might go in for an hour or so tomorrow night. But that’s all.”
“Slade, if you need to get back to work, you can,” she told him. “You don’t have to be here all the time with me.”
He frowned, shaking his head.
“I’m not . . . I’m not going to disappear, guys,” she told them. “I promise.”
“It’s not just that.” He walked around and sat next to her, taking her hand in his. “We want to be here if you need anything.”
“We don’t want to let you down,” Spencer added.
“I know. But if this relationship is going to work, you guys are going to have to go back to work, to doing things without me.” Urgh, why did she go red as she said relationship?
This was still kind of weird and new.
She couldn’t believe that she was in a relationship with her stepbrother and his two best friends.
Guys she’d practically hero-worshipped for years. Who she’d loved and wanted forever.
This was a dream she never wanted to wake up from.
Both Slade and Spencer nodded. However, Rock, who was standing in front of her, just frowned .
It didn’t seem he agreed.
She guessed it might take him more time.
“Maybe we could all go to the club tomorrow,” she suggested.
They all stiffened.
“Are you sure you’re feeling up to that, Princess?” Spencer asked, drawing her feet onto his lap so he could massage them.
Oh God.
That was freaking heaven.
She closed her eyes with a groan. Then she realized they’d all gone silent and she opened them again, looking around.
“What’s wrong?” she asked.
Slade cleared his throat. “Fuck, that noise you made. It went straight to my cock.”
“It did? Um, sorry?”
“Don’t apologize,” he told her.
“Can I touch you?” she asked.
“Touch me?” he asked.
“Yeah.”
Why did he look so odd? Oh, unless . . .
“You don’t want me to touch you in front of the others?” she guessed. “Sorry, I didn’t even think about how this was going to work. Do you guys not want to be around each other when you’re . . . um . . . naked?”
Slade cupped the side of her face, turning her toward him so he could kiss her. His mouth touched hers and she melted into the kiss. Moving, she sat on his lap, straddling his thighs.
“Careful, Princess,” Spencer scolded as he helped steady her.
“I’m all right. My belly isn’t that big yet.”
“Yeah, but you’re still recovering from cracked ribs,” he said.
“I feel so much better now, Spencer. I promise.” She turned to look into his face. “You don’t have to worry about me so much anymore.”
He gave her a sad-looking smile. “But I like worrying about you, fussing over you, doing things for you.”
“You do?” she asked .
Spencer shrugged. “It fulfills something in me. A need to ensure you are looked after.”
That was so sweet.
But she didn’t want him to tie himself up in knots to look after her.
“I love how you look after me,” she said. “But don’t run yourself ragged doing it, okay? Sometimes I’d like to take care of you.”
“Hmm.” Spencer didn’t look that convinced.
Then Slade grasped hold of her chin, reminding her that she was sitting on his lap. “In answer to your question, we’re not worried about being naked around each other. We’ll want time with you on our own, but we’re also all for shared bedroom activities.” He smirked as he said that.
Probably because she was now blushing bright red.
“You can ask us anything you want, you know,” Spencer said. “Anything you’re wondering about. Anything you need or desire.”
Oh hell.
“Yeah, we haven’t had this talk but we should.” Slade ran a finger down her cheek. “About what your limits are. And what the rules are.”
She narrowed her gaze at him. “I feel like you’ve already given me enough rules. Including non-rules.”
“What non-rules?” Spencer asked.
Slade shifted her so she sat sideways on his lap and could see Spencer and Rock better. Rock was now sitting on the coffee table.
“Like not getting out of bed without permission and not being allowed to carry my own handbag.”
Spencer scowled at her. He grabbed her feet again to massage them. “Those are real rules.”
She looked at the other two, expecting them to tell Spencer that he was crazy.
But they just nodded.
“You guys are all nuts,” she grumbled.
“The getting out of bed one was mainly because of your ribs which seem to be a lot better,” Slade told her. “But it’s also for when you’re in Little headspace. Little girls don’t get out of bed on their own.”
Little headspace.
When did she get to experience that? It was part of the reason she wanted to go to the club. To see how she felt in the Little playroom.
To see if she could let go of everything else, all of her worry and fear and just have fun.
“You like the idea of that, huh?” Slade asked.
“I think that rule should be for all the time,” Spencer grumbled.
“You guys won’t always be around, Spencer,” she told him. “I know you got a fright the other night when you woke up and I wasn’t there. But you’re going to have to trust that I won’t leave.”
He frowned, but nodded. “I suppose.”
“And the handbag?” she asked.
“Yeah, that one stays,” Slade told her. “It’s too heavy. Either lighten it or someone else carries it for you.”
Sheesh.
That seemed a bit over-the-top.
“I need everything in my handbag.”
Slade shot her a look. “Do you?”
Well. She thought she did.
“We might have other rules for your Little,” Slade said. “But we can discuss them another time. The main rule is to always be safe.”
“So can we go to the club tomorrow night?” she asked.
They all shared a look.
“I don’t think that you’re up for that yet,” Spencer said.
“I promise I am. Please. I want to get out of here for a while. That didn’t work out so great last time. But it would be safe at the club, right? Everyone is vetted by you guys.”
“Most members are,” Slade said. “I guess it would be safe. But you need to stay with one of us at all times. And you wouldn’t be playing. Just sitting and watching.”
“I’ve never gotten to play yet,” she grumbled. “You guys always play-blocked me. ”
“Play-blocked you?” Spencer asked, looking confused.
“Yeah, instead of cock-blocked you guys play-blocked or Dom-blocked.”
“You really think we were going to let our girl play with another Dom?” Slade growled.
All three men were frowning at her as though she’d insulted them.
“I wasn’t your girl then.”
“You have always been our girl,” Slade told her. “Ever since we met you, you were ours. In the beginning our feelings were different. But once you got older, we definitely wanted you.”
“And no one else got to have you,” Spencer said.
She licked her lips as she caught him staring at her hungrily.
“I just wanted to experience what it was like . . . I didn’t really want anyone. But I didn’t like always looking on from the outside. Although I guess now I have three Doms to play with.”
A ping of sadness filled her.
She hadn’t seen Quaid in a week. Not since her mum grabbed her while they were at the Christmas market. Where was he? Was he all right?
“Don’t think about Quaid,” Slade said. “And we’ll play with you eventually. Only us, no one else.”
“As if I’d want to play with anyone else.” She couldn’t even imagine looking at anyone else. Why would she? “I’m not sure how I’ll feel being Little in front of others. If it takes me a while to . . . to adjust, will you be disappointed?”
Rock leaned forward, his face intense. “Never.”
She sucked in a breath. “That’s good.”
That’s good? Really? That’s all she had to say?
“At the club, one of us will be with you the entire time. No matter what you’re doing. Understand?” Slade said.
Yikes.
That seemed insane.
“I understand.”
“That’s my good girl,” Slade told her .
“A very good girl,” Spencer added. “So good we should show her the surprise that you and Rock created for her.”
She glanced from Slade to Rock. They both nodded.
“Really? I get to see it now?” she asked.
Rock stood and lifted her into his arms. On the one hand, she really wanted to explore what had happened to Slade’s cock.
But she also really, really wanted to see this surprise.
He carried her to the bedroom he’d taken her to the other night when she’d had a nightmare.
Spencer reached around and opened the door and Rock walked inside with her.
Her mouth dropped open. Of all the things she’d been expecting this wasn’t it.
“A playroom,” she whispered.
