Epilogue

Flying into a foreign country was exciting enough. But flying into Lativa, only to be met by a line of black SUVs and armed guards, was a whole new experience.

Andi stepped out of the plane and looked down just in time to see two more tall men standing by the SUV, smiling at her.

The two men looked similar to Laith and Andi suspected that the older man was Laith’s father and the other was one of Laith’s uncles.

The beautiful, vibrant woman with the lightly greying hair had to be Laith’s mother, Princess… something. What was her name?

Andi squeezed Laith’s hand and he glanced down at her, immediately understanding her nervousness.

“They are going to love you,” he promised. “My twin brother isn’t here yet, but I know that he’s going to love you as well.”

“Right,” she whispered, then took a deep breath, exhaling slowly. “I’ve just…never met royalty before.”

He paused and turned her so that she was facing him. “You’ve met me, Andi. I’m royalty. Just trust me and be yourself.”

“I do,” she replied, leaning up to kiss him lightly. “And I will.”

“Words I love to hear,” he teased, then took her hand and led her down the steps to meet his parents. Before he could say anything more, an enormous brown and black German shepherd leapt from the back of the vehicle, his pink tongue lolling over the side of his mouth as he raced up the stairs.

“Brace yourself,” Laith whispered, as he knelt down before the giant dog leapt into his arms, furiously licking his face and wagging his tail. After greeting Laith, the enthusiastic canine turned to look up at Andi, just as eager to greet her with additional licks.

A note from Elizabeth

When I first wrote Prince Joran’s story way back and revealed he had secret twins, I honestly hadn’t planned on writing romances for the kids.

But the moment Laith and Rafi started taking shape—developing quirks, strengths, and those irresistible flashes of charm—I knew they needed stories of their own.

So…how’d I do? Did you enjoy Laith’s journey?

If his story made you laugh, swoon, or stay up way too late reading, I’d be incredibly grateful if you left a quick review. Your feedback not only fuels my writing (and my late night/early morning writing binges), it also helps other readers discover new stories to fall in love with. ??

Thank you for coming along on this ride with me!
