Hidden (The Devil’s Disciples #4)
Chapter 1
Vienna
Before
“You know we’re completely doomed, don’t you?” she asked, rotating her hips as she rode me slow and steady.
“Yeah,” I replied, sitting up so we were eye level with one another. She smiled down at me, her hands gripping the back of my head, and moaned softly, arching her back.
I gripped her hips, digging my fingers into her soft skin, and pulled her closer until our bodies were pressed together. “I choose you, baby. We may be doomed, but I couldn’t give a fuck,” I promised, burying my face in her neck.
“You will,” she said softly, her eyes downcast.
“Hey,” I murmured, placing my fingers under her chin and slowly lifting her head up. “I won’t. My place is here, by your side.”
“But…”
“But what? There is no ‘but,’ Gabriella. You’re it for me.
I will never love another woman the way I love you,” I said, feeling the same ache in my chest I always felt whenever we discussed our future.
I knew it was going to be difficult—impossible, even.
But I also knew I didn’t care. “If that means we’re damned, then I guess I’ll be jumping into the fire with you. ”
“Your club—”
“Will understand. Eventually,” I said, knowing full well that they were the least of our problems.
My club were my brothers. They would support me.
Hers, on the other hand…
“Dante has no problem with us, and Crash is slowly coming around. Once we have him on our side, the rest will fall in line. Trust me.”
“I do trust you. But my club will demand repayment for this. They’re going to want blood. You’re taking away the Rider princess, the daughter of the president. They’re not going to let that go easily.”
“Then I’ll pay the ransom. I’ll happily bleed for you,” I told her, biting down on her neck until she giggled.
She picked up her movements, grinding herself against me. Her breathing became heavier, and her fingers tightened on the back of my neck. I felt the skin split beneath her fingernails, and the sting of pain sent a blast of pleasure straight to my cock.
“See, how can something that feels so good be so wrong? Your club will understand. I’ll make them,” I promised her.
“You don’t know what you’re agreeing to. They’re not going to chuck a couple of leeches at you and think the debt has been paid. They’re going to bleed you until you’re dead. And that’s best-case scenario. They’ll—”
“They’ll try, and they’ll fail. Listen,” I said firmly, placing both my hands on her ass and rocking my hips upwards, thrusting back inside her.
“You’re mine, Gabriella. You’ve always been mine.
Don’t stress about the future. It’s coming whether we like it or not.
Enjoy the moment, the here and the now. This moment right here is all we’re guaranteed.
We could die tomorrow, or we could live to be one hundred.
But whatever time we’re given, even if it’s forever, I’ll go against the entire world—your club and my brothers included—to fight for just five minutes more.
I’ll make sure we get the story we deserve. ”
She looked at me for a second, but then her face split into a soul-destroying grin. “You really like me, don’t you, Luke?”
“No. I love you. And that’s enough.”
