CHAPTER 18
After listening to Ayaan's words, Mrityunjay has completely lost his temper. He wants to kill Jagdish right now, who has hatched a conspiracy against Mayil. Jagdish wanted to run away from here by trapping Mayil in a conspiracy from all around, but suddenly his health deteriorated, and at this time he is in the hospital.
Ayaan is continuously following Mrityunjay in another car, as he knows that now it will be difficult to stop Mrityunjay. Therefore, he does not want him to do any such work, due to which he may have problems later.
As soon as the car is stopped with a jerk, Mrityunjay starts going inward. Ayaan also stops the car, runs after Mrityunjay, and explains to him.
"Listen, don't do something that will make you regret it a lot later; you know very well that? Mayil loves her father very much, so if you do anything, then she is going to go against you. Try to understand the matter and not put yourself in more trouble."
But Mrityunjay continues to ignore his words and is moving towards Jagdish's wards. According to his instructions, Mohan has gone to talk to the doctor to learn about his condition, and his hired doctor is with Jagdish in alert mode. As he enters the room, all the doctors stand in a line. He stares at Jagdish on his bed, who is unconscious now, and then puts his hands in his pocket and tells the doctor.
"Give him an injection so that he goes into a coma; I never want to see him in his consciousness again; it's the punishment that he did with my life. How did you even think that you would try to snatch my life and I would let you live so easily? I cannot forgive you. But my innocent love thinks you are worthy of her love... I loathe you."
The doctor immediately prepares the injection and puts it in Jagdish's vein slowly. Mrityunjay has a very crooked smile on his face. Ayaan is watching everything that stands behind him. He knows that saying anything at this time means the angel of death personally comes to escort you to hell.
After some time, the news spread like fire in the hospital that Jagdish had slipped into a coma. Mohan's condition is so bad at this time that he suddenly comes to know that the shares of his company have also started falling because he tried to collaborate with Jagdish's company.
"What's going on, after all?"
"If you want to establish a relationship with a sinking company, then your company will sink, will it not?"
Mohan immediately turns to the voice. In front, Mrityunjay Sisodia is standing very comfortably, looking at him. He knows Mrityunjay Sisodia, so he comes in front of him and asks him.
"I know very well that you are the one who ruined Jagdish's company. Now, do you want to ruin my company too? After all, what is wrong with you? ...."
"I have no hand in the sinking of your company. I told you that you have tried to support a sinking company, due to which your investors have panicked and have tried to take their investment. I had no hand in this. Talk of ruining Jagdish Kaushik's company... Till now, Jagdish Kaushik's company used to rule the entire market, so what is the bad thing about removing competition in such a situation? I think I am not doing anything wrong. Didn't he ever do that? Didn't he finish his competition? ....."
Mohan panics after hearing this and sits on the seat, seeing the shares of his company fall very badly on live news. Mrityunjay also comes and sits beside him and tells him.
"Today, seeing Jagdish Kaushik's daughter for the first time, I felt that I should settle down, which I never thought about till now... So I told her—I mean, your granddaughter—that I could fix everything. It will only take me a few minutes. I had to settle down by getting married; I haven't settled yet because I haven't found anyone who I think is perfect for me, but seeing your granddaughter, I felt like it for the first time today."
"Shut up... Go away."
"Look, Mr. Jagdish is in a coma, and his company is on the edge of losing everything... I don't care about that, but I really like her."
"Look Mr. I am not going to decide at all whether she wants to marry you or not, nor do I have any right to decide. Right now, I am only concerned about Jagdish and my company. So you leave and don't bother me."
Just then, Jagdish's phone starts ringing. This is a call from one of his investors. He picks up his phone and starts talking to me. Then Mrityunjay snatches his phone and tells the man.
"Hello, sir…. This is Mrityunjay Sisodiya. His granddaughter and I are going to marry soon, and here you are accusing me that the company has been sold to me or that I have bought it. This is not right. The CEO of the company is my wife; no one else is the owner of her company. Fine, I am coming."
He disconnects the phone and looks at Mohan. He is looking at him. He tells him very calmly.
"Your investor has called us; he wants to apologize to you. I think we should go there and accept his apology."
PRESENT TIME
Mayil is only seeing Mrityunjay leaving from there. She does not understand at all what he has come to do, and why is he leaving all of a sudden?
Mohan comes and stands in front of Mayil. She immediately starts looking toward him.
"Why is Mr. Sisodia with you?"
"Mr. Sisodia and I went to my investors so that we could find out why they took their investment so quickly, and he helped me a lot. Mr.Sisodiya is a very powerful person. This is what I have admitted because the investor very easily agreed not to take back his money after listening to his words."
Mayil suddenly remembers that she had heard from everyone that her father was in a coma. She looks at her grandfather and says,
"What happened to my father?"
"Jagdish is deeply shocked by the loss of his company, due to which he has slipped into a coma. The doctor says that he will not be in a coma for long, he will come out soon, and there are very bright chances. But we have to keep him happy whenever he comes out of a coma. I try my best to get his company back to where it was, but it's a bit difficult. Mr. Sisodia helped me but was not ready to give back to that company."
Mayil's mind has gone numb, as she has no idea why all this is happening. She is only listening to him.
"I only know that whenever Jagdish comes to his senses, whatever it is after 1 day or after 1 month, I have to somehow get her company back in the same condition it was in, or else he will be back in shock, which I can't stand. Take a rest. I am going."
Mahi quickly gets ready and goes to the hospital, as she only wants to see her father. She is only looking at her father's face. She is neither in a position to say anything nor understand anything.
She hasn't eaten anything, but she's determined to do anything to save her father's company. But before that, she wants to meet Mritunjay.
And the truth is that she wants to meet Mrityunjay again. She doesn't know at all why she feels that when she meets him, she wants to see Mrityunjay in front of her as if he has the solution to all her problems.
She comes to her house, where Mohan is waiting for her. She never likes to talk to Mohan. But today, apart from Mohan, she has no one with whom she can talk. She sits beside him and says,.
"Why do I feel like it's all right? ..."
"Jagdish will never like that you have married without your consent. No need to bother yourself so much."
"No, I am ready for this marriage."
"Are you sure, I mean..."
"Say yes to him... But... I want to talk to him."
"Think again, then say..."
"Now is not the time to think. I am ready for marriage, but first I want to talk to Mr. Sisodia. Don't worry about Papa, because I have talked to the doctor. He said that he is fine and will soon regain consciousness."
Mohan leaves with a smile. Mayil is very upset, and she cannot understand what to do, so she calls Mrityunjay. He picks up his phone in a few rings, and his voice is very calming.
"Hello…"
"Hello, Mr. Sisodiya, I want to meet you."
"Fine, I am coming."
"No, not now; it's too late, Mr. Sisodiya."
"It's Jay for you... I don't need to worry about the time to meet my soon-to-be wife."
"How do you know that I have said yes to Grandpa for marriage? 2 minutes ago, he left, and I called you; he might not have had enough opportunity to call you and inform you."
"I never trade a business I don't trust when I know very well that everything I want will be mine. I show my interest in that."
"Look, sir, I want to meet you."
"I am coming, and I don't want any formalities, so stop saying it's too late."
"Listen…"
But he disconnects the phone. Mayil is sitting on her bed, holding her head. She doesn't know how many thoughts are coming together, nor is she able to understand anything, nor is she able to explain herself.
She does not know how long she has been sitting there like this with her eyes closed. When she opens her eyes, suddenly Mrityunjay comes and stands in front of her. Mayil's condition tells Mrityunjay very well how many dilemmas she is getting worried about at the moment.
Mayil sits there, looking at Mrityunjay for some time. Mrityunjay slowly comes close to her and sits beside her on the ground. Mayil is looking in front and telling him.
"Do I already know you?"
"It depends on why you are asking this question."
Mrityunjay is sitting beside her, but despite that, Mayil does not feel uncomfortable at all. She seems to be getting used to sitting closer to him. She says.
"I feel like... everything is right around me... I want to stay away from every problem."
"Marry me… I will take you away from every problem."
"Why do you want to marry me?"
"Because I want to... You are the first girl after whom I felt that I wanted someone to like me in my life. If not you, no one else is either."
"You know I lost my memories. What if I am in love with someone or something that is very important? I already lost it in my memories."
Mrityunjay looks in front. He is lost only in the memory of his child, which he cannot even share with Mayil. But he sighs deeply and says,
"How about this? We make new memories."
Mayil turns to look at Mrityunjay; he turns his face lightly. Mayil does not know what is in his eyes, but it is necessary that she feels like looking into his eyes. She should only think about the memories ahead and not about the memories that have been forgotten. Mrityunjay says it with confidence.
"I promise you, I will take care of you. I will love you so much that you will consider yourself lucky that you chose me. And the only thing I expect from you is that I also consider myself so lucky that I have chosen you. Don't think too much. Come, let's have dinner."
Mayil doesn't know whether she will be able to do the things that she wanted to do or if she has lost herself in his words. But she says,
"I don't have any appetite."
"Food is set on the table downstairs, so you should just focus on eating. Come on!"
Mayil feels that whatever this voice says, she should believe everything that she is hearing from him. She silently followed him to the dining table.
